i want to try the mac face and body but i don't know which is the best color for me? c3 or c4 because there seems to be a divided opinion about it about which one
Mac Face and Body Foundation Shades? NC42?
i would say your a c6. I was a nc 42 over the summer and i borrowed my friends c5 and it was pretty light on me. If you dont need alot of coverage then this foundation would be for you other than that its really light weight and sheer. You can build the coverage but i find it can get cakey easily. If your looking for a light foundation then this is it but if you actually need coverage then no dont get it.

Mac face and body foundation for stretch marks?
Yep...Mari is right...Dermablend would be the best shot if you're going to be using it for body coverage...Make sure you get the one for the body though....because it's more fluid and less thick. I once covered these tatoos for this female body builder...and it stayed ON...even when she had to grease up. You can find Dermablend at JC Penny's and CVS...and select Macy's
What is your go to foundation for that “no makeup” look?
MAC face & body foundation as well.It’s sheer to light medium, doesn’t add noticeable texture, gives a glowy/dewy finish and is water resistant, skin-like and well as lightweight. It’s one of my favorite foundations. A lot of other makeup artists use and love it as well especially with brides as the water resistant is perfect and the glow is just very pretty.Now, if you’re someone who wants a more full coverage but natural look. Go for RCMA or Mehron HD cream as these are both HD and literally formulated to look skin-like and not heavy or obviously makeup and in many cases HD makeup uses micronized pigments. These both are great foundations, most people will find a match with RCMA but I personally didn’t due to their lack of green toned colors but Mehron has a shade that matches me 99% and that’s why I prefer it though the RCMA color range is more extensive. I’d avoid the whole lighter under eyes concealer because no ones eyes are lighter than their skin naturally unless they wore sunglasses and their face got tan but it’s usually a harsh line and not blended. Naturally, our eyes area is a little darker. If someone has a very even complexion, naturally, their under eye area is the same shade not lighter. So, when doing makeup under your eyes, stick to a shade that matches. Color-correct if need be. yo may be an n2 you need to go to the pro store and try them out that is the best foundation i have it its every light so sheer that its like a tinted moisturizer in that bottle i wear an c4 the color shades are a little off n is the nw shades and c is the nc warm shades so try them on that is what i did i have it and i love love this stuff.
How waterproof is MAC Face and Body?
Hi! I've tried it on a couple of clients... one for a wedding and one for a beach party swimmer. It depends on how long you'll be staying in the water.. if you are keeping your body and face in the water for longer than an hour... not really. It does however withstand heat, sweat on any part of the body. Only problem if you are looking for heavy coverage on your face to cover acne, it's not worth your money honestly. It's really light though and usually great in apply with an airbrush machine with a set powder like MAC Invisible Set Powder.
