What colour streaks/highlights would you go for if you have black hair and sorta tanned skin?
I'm planning to put some streaks or highlilghts into my black hair. I have tanned skin, so i don't want to get a colour which is gonna look weird on me. I was thinking of redish purple, or some a redish brown?

Me and my sister both have black hair. She got blonde highlights and I got red highlights. They both looked good, but I personally liked mine better. Lol, just cause it's more my style. But if you're looking for a little more natural colour, caramel, blonde, dirty brown or brown would look good. Good luck!

You can do anything you want, but you should think about it. If you try to go blonde on dyed black/crown hair there's a good chance it will only go down to orange or red. And also dying your hair a colour is not as damaging as bleaching your hair, be prepared to do a fair bit of damage if you are going to put bleach onto hair that has been dyed and dyed. Personally I don't think it would look that good anyway. Go ask your local hairdresser how much they charge to do highlights cause i know here is australia you can go in and get just a few foils done for about $5 each. You would probably only need 5 or 6 for effect. And you would get a much better job than a do it yourselfer. Good luck.
