What Component Of Your Pc Determines Whether It

Determine whether or not the component is a viroid? ?

Refer to the treatments listed below to answer the following question.

You isolate an infectious substance that is capable of causing disease in plants, but you do not know whether the infectious agent is a bacterium, virus, viroid, or prion. You have four methods at your disposal that you can use to analyze the substance in order to determine the nature of the infectious agent.
I. treating the substance with nucleases that destroy all nucleic acids and then determining whether it is still infectious
II. filtering the substance to remove all elements smaller than what can be easily seen under a light microscope
III. culturing the substance by itself on nutritive medium, away from any plant cells
IV. treating the sample with proteases that digest all proteins and then determining whether it is still infectious

Which treatment could definitively determine whether or not the component is a viroid?

The MAC address of a PC is determined by which system component? ?

The MAC address of a PC is determined by which system component?

Which hardware component most determines the performance of a game running on a PC?

Actually every part plays a very vital role but if we look at the largest contributor then i would say its your GRAPHIC CARD because it reduces the activities of your RAM to a great extent due to its complex mathematical solving abilities.Modern Graphic cards has the ability to fight most of the bottleneck situations too.

What part of a computer determines whether or not it is capable of WiFi?

Some desktops have built-in hardware to allow them WiFi connectivity, some don’t. Whether or not one does is typically dependent on the presence of one of these three devices:PCIe/mSATA wireless cardThese little cards are found most frequently in laptops and other mobile computers, though some desktop motherboards (particularly mITX form factor boards where it’s important to save space) have slots for them. They typically operate over a PCIe or mSATA connection and are fully concealed within the machine. Generally speaking, there will be at least one antenna plugged into this type of card (they plug into those circle looking plugs in the top right of the card in the above pic).2. Desktop PCIe wireless cardThis is probably the most common solution for wireless connectivity in desktop computers. It plugs into a PCIe x1 slot which can be found on virtually any modern motherboard (including that Prime B350M-A you mentioned). The board is concealed within the computer; the metal cover should sit flush with the computer’s case and the antennae stick out the back to maximize signal strength. Usually these will have 1–3 antennae as pictured, or will have a separate antenna that plugs into the same connection via a cable.3. External adaptersThese come in a few different shapes and sizes. They usually connect via USB and are a useful alternative to those who don’t want to open up their computer to install one of the previous two options. Keep in mind, however, that depending on your network setup they may not provide the same speed given the limitations of USB 2.0, which is what most of these still use at this point. If your machine does not have wireless capability, it should be relatively simple to change that through adding one of the above devices. Any of them can be had for relatively cheap.

What is the best way or procedure to determine whether a motherboard on a computer is faulty or expired?

One other thing I wanted to mention was a POST tester, or sometimes called main board tester.  Basically you plug this into an empty PCI slot, and power on the pc.  If during POST any errors occur they will print to a tiny display on the tester.  Now this will obviously only be of benefit when the POST is able to start.  You can get a little kit like this for $11.http://www.amazon.com/gp/product...

What determines the speed of a computer: Processor speed or RAM or what? I need a very fast computer!?

Both the ram and processor speed are two things that determine a computer speed the most.

The processor speed tell you how fast it can process data. And Ram determine how much instructions a computer can hold before going to the processor.

The ram is often need if you plan on having a lot of programs running in the background. Processors are need if you like to do processor-heavy applications like computers games.

For a fast computer you will need a good amount of both. Atleast 2 gbs of ram and a dual-core processor if you plan on using vista. Maybe a higher end duo-core a quad-core processor with 3 or 4 gbs of ram for gaming (get 64-bit OS if you use 4 gbs or more of ram, as 32-bit OS can only use up to 3 gbs)

Video Cards - What component determines which resolutions can be used? Why?

It's the monitor itself actually, video cards can produce in any resolution monitor declares to be supported, because let's face it, it is the monitor producing the pictures and pixels, it has to have the final say on this or video card will keep producing signals that it can not produce Such garbagicle (garbagenese, garbagation, gar...) will likely harm the monitor and room if it persists.

Because of the technology of 2 decades ago, a virus was written to do that costly prank, but it is no longer possible.

Easy way to determine whether a load is inductive or capacitive?

I'm having a little trouble determining whether a load is resistive, capacitive, or inductive. I need to be able to tell whether the power factor is leading or lagging on a particular homework question. I know if the load is inductive, the current will lag the voltage, capacitive the current will lead the voltage, and resistive the current and voltage will be completely in phase. Now if you aren't told whether your load is either of these, is there an easy way to calculate it? For example, the question I'm asked gives the impedance as Z = 4 + j3, and it turns out the power factor is lagging, but how can you determine that if you don't know if the load is capacitive, inductive or resistive?

To what extent do the processors and RAMS determine the speed of a computer?

A computer's speed and processing power aren't attributable to a single component. It takes a number of pieces of hardware working together to determine your computer's overall performance. What it all comes down to is how well, and how quickly, all the important components communicate with each other to perform actions.
