If you could add or remove one rule in the Premier League, what would it be and why?

Well this is a rule I’d add to football as a whole, not just the premier league.It’s regarding something that really ruins the beautiful gameSUBSTITUTIONS:(and stoppages in general)It is extremely common for teams to try and protect a lead desperately, or play for a draw. Often in those cases teams make substitutions towards the tail end of the game and try and eat up some time.The current system requires the referee to keep note of all the time spent in making a substitution but it’s not necessarily fool proof to add on time after 90 minutes. A referee may add on more or less time than what’s needed(human error, can’t blame them all the time), and if something happens in injury time, then it can get extended wrong too. 4 minute added times get extended to 7 and it can affect the results drastically.I had read a comment somewhere suggesting this idea and I found it quite sound:Stop the clock whenever there’s a stoppage in playWhether there’s a goal, injury, or a substitution to waste time, just stop the clock altogether. That way, there shall be exactly 90 minutes played (the ball will be in play for 90 minutes and maybe a few seconds +- from kick offs and HT/FT whistles)and no errors in adding injury time(too much or too little).Please upvote if you agree and drop in your opinions/suggestions for rule changes, it can be a great discussion.

How can Netflix be improved?

This I would like to see, is a skip forward 10s optionA way to delete “Continue Watching” options. This is especially irritating with multi season TV shows - if you didn’t like the first few - it’s just stuck there.More trailers for movies (non Netflix) as Netflix made do have them, but also trailers for TV shows.There is A LOT on Netflix, and it’s hard to get a feel for it all. Someone mentioned movie selection frustrations… what I’d suggest is -the categories are great. There are obviously many many options that could be displayed. So the ability to delete a category slide they think you ‘might be interested in’ for it to be replaced by another.movies, tv shows not to be duplicated (often a number of times) across all the suggested categories in a profile.If there is something you did not like or ave seen - movie, older TV series etc - being able to hide or block seeing it. Searching can always unblock if needed. As I only ever feel I’m seeing a limited part of what I may be interested in.

How would you improve Peter Jackson’s Lord of the Rings solely based on removing/adding characters?

Aside from the obvious ones like Glorfindel, I’d add just one that wasn’t in the book:DERNHELM.Calum Gittins as “Haleth” in the film— who I assumed was only placed at Helm’s Deep, so that the later appearance of “Dernhelm” would seem more plausible as a real soldier, due to the girly-appearance of young Riders.Normally I don’t like to take liberties for with author’s intentions, like Jackson clearly did, by simply claiming that “movies are different” as a carte blanch in artistic license... to rape it and then use it for a willy-wipe.HOWEVER.Dernhelm was important for two reasons:Changing conventions.By the time of the movie, the old “soldier in drag” bit was a cliche; to the point where Jackson didn’t even hide the fact that Eowyn was just “one of the boys.”Gee, a girl in armor, passing for a young man…. never seen that before!And so if Eowyn threw a fit over wanting to join up and ride with Aragorn, then it would be too obvious that Dernhelm was really Eowyn in soldier-drag.However there was always something that bothered me about Elfhelm either knowingly allowingEowyn to ride in his Eored— orsome young soldier with a strange name he’d never heard before, and could be a spy for all he knew.This is because Tolkien originally wrote that Dernhelm was Eowyn’s kinsman in the King’s household; but he scrapped the idea because it would be too confusing for the reader, if Dernhelm was featured in the story.This is because names and faces are difficult to distinguish in text; and so the reader would just not see this:But just “Dernhelm” and “Eowyn” in printed words.Which, when applied to two different people, would be….Yeah.As a result, the Siege of Gondor and the arrival of Rohan, Witch-king thing, the Eowyn/Dernhelm angle justseemed a little “rushed” and so even Peter Jackson threw it out.Sorry, Cal.But of course, Jackson was a hack who also did crap like this:And even THIS:Except for his fear of catching “hemp fever” at a Tolkien-fan lynch mob….And so Jackson simply lacked the artistic vision to include Dernhelm by panning from this:Back to this at Meduseld:“WHO STOLE MY BLOODY RIDING-GEAR? EOWYN!!!!!!!!”And even if it was confusing at first, it would keep audiences talking for decades.
