What Could I Have Been Bit By Is There A Connection

There have been many connections between memory and strong emotions, do psychopaths on average have a harder time remembering things?

Psychopaths’ memory is a bit worse than non-psychopaths.The amygdala is the brain’s emotional memory storage - so to speak. It calculates whichever emotional event you had and connects it to other brain regions that influences on your perception of such emotion. It tells us how we’re feeling even though we’re not paying attention to it.The frontal cortex transforms short-term memory to long term. The hippocampus - that goes hand in hand with the frontal cortex - says whether this memory is from past or an idea for the future. Basically, it separates memorise to different areas of the brain and make it to the permanent storage. When an event is emotional the amygdala is activated - so is the hippocampus - and this dual activation makes the memory stronger. The activation of both makes the synapses stronger and therefore the connections as well.Psychopaths have anatomical differences in the amygdala. It’s smaller. This means that they experience very narrow and primitive spectrum of emotions. Therefore, they lack in emotional memory. They store their memories in a different way where emotions aren’t necessary.

I can't get over my ex due to the good sexual connection we had, I slept with others but it doesn't help, what can I do?

If you could get over your Ex what would it look like? Not necessarily what will the person look like but how would you feel? Pay attention to those feelings and see if you get them with any new guys you meet. Now let's chat a bit: it's possible that your Ex has a body made for yours, but considering there isn't very much variation, I doubt that's the case. What you enjoyed or miss about your Ex is how he made you feel. If you are going into every experience thinking about "will this one be better than my time with your Ex," you're not really giving yourself the opportunity to be in the moment with the new person. Yes, It's possible it was mind-blowing from the beginning but usually there's an adjustment period, him getting to know what you like, you getting to know him. It isn't really fair to compare a matured sexual experience with a new one. If you believe its possible to meet someone else who could blow your ex out of the water, in terms of chemistry, connection and compatibility it will happen, just give it a bit of time...

Bit torrent client says..problem connecting to tracker..connection refused. this is since 12 hours..what 2 do?

the tracker site might be down, or turned subscription only. Try downloading from a different site.

If no torrent is working, you might have a restrictive firewall or your ISP might be blocking you. These are blind guesses without more information.

You might also try switching bt clients. Azureus is a pretty reliable one.

Modulation and Coding?

1) assuming that the base band is a very tight restriction, you can have 1000/15 channels run on the same cable. This uses frequency division multiple access (FDMA).

2) You have 200Gbps per channel, and the telephone connection requires 64kbps. This means that you can have 200*10^9/64000 telephone conversations on one channel, so multiply that by 450 to get the total number of phone conversations. This combines wavelength division multiplexing (WDM, or nowadays they have a lot more channels using dense wavelength division multiplexing or DWDM) with time division multiple access (TDMA) where it separates the signal in time (send one, send the next, etc. until all sub-channels have their first packet sent, then do it again).

3) The transmission bandwidth is 14kHz because of the Nyquist limit and the symmetry of real signals in the frequency domain. The lowest frequency is 12095-7 kHz and the highest frequency is 12095+7 kHz.

4) I'm assuming by bps your textbook actually means baud rate. Bps is a measure of how much information is transmitted, while baud rate includes the overhead of start, stop, parity and forward error correction (if any). That means that each character requires 8 bits of information plus 1 start bit plus 1.5 stop bits and 1 parity bit (parity is a simple way to detect and correct errors). The percentage overhead is the total number of bits required to transmit a character, divided by the number of bits of information in the character, all minus 1 then multiplied by 100%. Overhead is a measure of how much of the time is actually not information being sent. The amount of time it will take to send 10000 characters is 10000 characters * 11.5 bits per character / 2400 bits per second.

5) You haven't given any information about overhead, so I assume that there is no overhead. This puts the bit rate as 8 states * 120 baud.

6) 12000 bps / 2400 baud gives the number of signalling states.

When jump-starting a car, should the black cable be connected negative terminal to negative terminal, or negative terminal to ground?

Electrically speaking, there’s no difference in the circuit you’re making - the negative terminal on a modern car is attached to the car’s bodywork anyway, so whether you connect your cable to the battery itself or to any unpainted bit of ‘solid’ metal bodywork doesn’ t make any difference. The advantage however of attaching the cable to a spare bit of bodywork is more related to your own safety…If you’re connecting both leads to the battery, they’re both going to be pretty close together… If one of the leads slips then there’s always the possiblity of them coming close enough together so that an electrical arc forms between the two terminals (think “ruddy great spark”)If any bit of you is too close at the time, you could quite easily end up with a nasty burn… Not forgetting of course that unwanted electrical arcing in the Engine compartment of a petrol powered vehicle isn’t a very good idea… Cars can end up burnt out that way.Safer to keep both leads as far apart as is physically possible.

I have a trentnet router and when i try to connect... Please help, easy 10 points, thanks alot!?

Okay, so I have a trentnet router that I got for $30, it is a "G" router and when I try to connect it to my psp, and I am sitting right beside my router so the signal is %100. It is connecting and than it says "A Connection error has occurred. You have been disconnected from the access point" even though I didn't move a bit. What is the problem, I will give 10 points, thanks so much!

Is it possible to change the destination of a bit.ly link?

Great question!Let me introduce myself, I’ve been on the Product team at Bitly for ~2.5 years and have discussed this exact question with our team on numerous occasions.First, Ryan is correct, one of the main reasons we’ve chosen to not build a system that redirects links on the http://bit.ly domain is to avoid abuse. Bitly has built a sophisticated system to prevent and reduce the impact of spammers using our Bitlinks (Bitly links) to send malicious or phishing content. However providing the functionality for spammers to build trust in specific URLs then easily redirect them to malicious content is a challenge we don’t currently want to tackle.Another reason we haven’t provided this functionality is our sheer scale. Bitly actively maintains redirects for the hundreds of millions on Bitlinks created every month, adding up to tens of billions of URLs. Providing the ability to dynamically redirect the destination URL for these links would be very complex and a large scale project that would put other priorities on hold.We do offer the ability for our Bitly Enterprise customers to redirect Bitlinks created with their configured domains. We often see our customers create Custom Bitlinks (Bitlinks with words instead of random characters after the ‘/’) and place them in prominent areas on social networks (think Instagram profiles) then redirect them based on the current context of the channel. This allows our customers to not only track engagement for each destination but easily measure the performance of the rapidly changing content.I hope this answer helps!
