What Could This Be Should I See My Doctor Strange Symptoms

Our 6 month old baby is showing strange symptoms. The doctors are baffled. Any clues?

Have they checked her for Sandifer's Syndrome... They thought my daughter might have had this because she had a really bad reflux problem and made very very similar noises to the noise your daughter is making in the video but other than the noise my daughter didn't show any signs... Though other signs are stiffing up of the body and eyes rolling.. This is commonly mistaken for a seizure but its really not.. I would DEF ask your daughters doctor if this is a possibility!

There is a forum that talks a little bit more like it

What kind of doctor would you see for symptoms such as tingling in the right side of body, numb right toes, and sharp pain in the right side of one's head?

Start with a neurologist. If you cannot get in to see a neurologist in a reasonable amount of time-  say a day or two- then see your General Practitioner.  Often, with their referral in hand, you can get in sooner, plus, the GP can certainly order the x-rays and MRIs the neurologist is going to want in order to make a diagnosis. You are describing a neurological problem; doesn't mean a GP can't start the ball rolling, but you'll probably end up with a neurologist sooner or later.

My 6 month old husky is sick with strange symptoms?

What did your vet diagnose him with?

If you're not comfortable with your vet's choice of treatment, you should consider getting a second opinion.

Info on tick-borne diseases (there are 4). Note that some are found only in certain areas of the country.

ADD: It is impossible to say what might be wrong based on your description. You should call the clinic and get the diagnoses your vet gave (which should be on your dog's chart) - then you can research the problems. Plenty of info on the web if you have the actual name of the affliction/problem.

Strange "Cottage cheese" like discharge, no other symptoms? HELP!?

I've been having a weird "cottage cheese" like discharge recently however no itching or burning that would lead me to think it was a yeast infection. To be safe I took Canesten Oral a few weeks ago. It went away for a few days but has recently come back again. I decided to take another Canesten treatment just days ago, but I'm still having the same discharge problems. I have a boyfriend of 6 months who had other partners before me, however he was tested before having had sex with me. He is only the second guy I've been with so I highly doubt there are chances of this being an STI. And if it were, would I not have had symptoms a lot earlier in our relationship? PLEASE HELP!

I'm not sure what my symptoms mean?

im a nurse and you need to go to a doctor! it could be a number of things, diabetic, stress, nerves. the dr. can rule out HEALTH problems with some simple blood tests. if everything turns out ok, then its probably stress.

33 weeks pregnant....what do all these strange symptoms mean?

Sometimes contractions feel different to different people, even though you are not getting the tightening feeling you may be getting contractions. I just went into early labor on Mon (I am 32 weeks and high risk because of a fibroid tumor in the uterus) and I kept feeling period cramps that were rhythmic (coming and going at an even pace) the contractions could also just be braxton hicks preparing your body for labor. The key is do the pains come and go and will they stop, put your feet up, lay on your left side and drink a few glasses of water. After an hour if you are still having pains call your ob and explain your symptoms. I get the pressure too, sometimes it is just the baby pressing on your cervix or just getting lower which is normal. The light green discharge may be normal, let your ob know about it just to be sure though. I have very light yellowish discharge sometimes and I do not have any infections, my ob said it is just increased discharge caused by pregnancy and it is normal. Overall you should call your ob and express your concern and notify them of the symptoms, if you are going into early labor they can stop it and allow your little one to develop more mature lungs. If they cannot stop labor they can give you steroids to develop the lungs quicker in an emergency. Calling your ob will give you piece of mind and allow you to come up with a plan if it is early labor. Good luck

I do have all the symptoms of obstructive apnea, but the sleep study shows that I don't have anything. What could be the problem? How can I fix my sleep?

I've read all the answers and comments given so far. Here's what I can tell you for sure:1) No one on Quora is going to be able to tell you what's wrong or how to fix it. You should be particularly skeptical of anyone who claims otherwise.2) Sleep apnea doesn't tend to hide itself during a sleep study, so if your doctor saw no evidence of it, it's probably safe to say you don't have it.3) Your sleep doctor can give you an activity monitor to wear around your wrist for two weeks to help monitor your sleep-wake patterns. It won't measure your brain waves, but if you keep a detailed sleep journal while you're wearing it, it can be quite helpful in narrowing down the real problem.4) Insufficient deep sleep can be a very serious problem, but not really getting any significant deep sleep during your first sleep study doesn't necessarily mean anything. It's not uncommon for people to get little or no deep sleep when they're connected to a bunch of wires and sleeping in a strange place, especially if it's your first time.5) Depression and anxiety can be symptoms of sleep disorders, but they can also cause sleep problems. It can get tricky trying to figure out which is the cause and which is the effect. They could also all be the effects of a totally different cause. Only your doctors should be trusted to sort out the differences, not self-appointed experts on Quora.6) One comment said your body knows when it needs to sleep so you should just trust it. That's true for many people, but not all. My body has no idea when to sleep so I've had to work very hard to train it. If my sleep problems had been caused by a brain tumor instead of narcolepsy, I doubt all my efforts would've meant squat. Good sleep habits and a strict routine can often make a world of difference, but like everything else related to sleep, it all depends on the person.7) I'd recommend making a list of questions to take back to your sleep doctor. It sounds like some things might've been mentioned but not thoroughly explained. Don't be afraid to ask what your doctor's thoughts and plans are, and don't hesitate to ask for clarification if you don't fully understand something. Some doctors are naturally better at it than others, but all doctors should be able to give a clear explanation when prompted.

Symptoms are still present after taking antibiotics for 2 weeks, what should my friend do?

Antibiotics can only cure bacterial infection so if your friend suffers from a virus its perfectly understandable that the antibiotics didn't work. A viral infection has to be eliminated through the body itself but he can stock up on fresh garlic and bunches of it it can kill the virus. So chopped up garlic about 5 cloves taken thrice daily on a sand which or with food. Multivitamin supplementation will also boost the immunity along with the garlic to eliminate the virus much quicker. Also keep in mind every single time one takes a set of antibiotics you have to finish the whole set so as not stopping after symptoms have improved. That and secondly with every time you use antibiotics you must consume natural yoghurt such as Bulgarian or Greek as to replace the good bacteria to your gut. Antibiotics destroy both the bad and good guys and that alone can trigger much worse illnesses in future so remember those two tips.
