What Countries Are Cold Year Round

Which countries in the world have summer all year round?

Countries located within the equator within 23° latitude of the earth will generally have “summer” all year long.In Indonesia, we have periodical weather changes, they are generally classified within dry season (April - September) and rainy season (September - April). And since climate is never a definitive thing, sometimes the rainy season starts at November / December or as late as January and ended somewhere in March or might be earlier. Otherwise, the weather at below 3.000 feet above sea level always varies between 26° at its coldest to 37° at the hottest. Our summer is not as hot as those in 4 seasons countries. Been there, lived through that, and people who live in tropical countries have no idea what kind of ideal weather they are currently living in. Our summer is characteristically mild, damp, and the warmness stays through the night. There is no breeze to soothe the heat, so if you sweat, you will drip until you are totally soaked.

What countries are cold year round?

Places way up north or way down south do get warm weather - they are not cold all year. In some countries, because of being so far away from the equator, they have much shorter summers and longer winters but they do have warm weather. From what I can see, it is really only the continent of Antarctica that is cold all year round.

Check out these countries that others have said are cold all year round.

In northern Canada for example temperatures can reach as high as 86°F although often it is closer to 50°F Above that it stays colder. Summers though are quite short in length.

Russia - Moscow - averages 23 - 25 (75°F) - "Siberia's northern coast, summer lasts for a few weeks in July when the average high temperature reaches 10°C (50°F)."

Greenland - 20° C (68° F) in June, July or August

Tibet - some areas are very nice - 84°F in summer, northern Tibet can have 70°F weather during their summer

Lets move to Argentina - "In summer (December to March) temperatures are more diverse, with an average of 9 °C (48.2 °F) in the south and 27 °C (80.6 °F) in the north. Temperatures can reach up to 45 °C (113 °F) in southern parts, but by a short period" Can be quite cool in the south

Antarctic - continent - "Along the Antarctic Peninsula, temperatures as high as 15°C (59°F) have been recorded though the summer temperature is usually around 2°C (36°F). Now, that's COLD for a summer temperature and of course the winters would be really, really cold.

Are there any socially liberal countries that also have year-round warm climates?

There are 3 options in my opinion.#1: Move to Metro Vancouver. The region has hot summers, and cold winters. However, with the changes brought on by climate change, Vancouver has been warming, and will continue to do for the foreseeable future, thus would be a good location to move to. (The current snow is brought on by Arctic weather being pushed southward.)#2: New Zealand is your best bet if your looking for warm weather year round, and a socially liberal country. A few years ago, Auckland and Wellington had snow for the first time in four decades. Moving to either of those two cities would be a good choice.#3: Australia is the only other option. They are socially liberal, but snow depends on which Australian city you live in. Darwin, Australia would be the northernmost, major Australian city. And of all the nations in the warmest regions of Earth (between the Tropic of Cancer and Capricorn), Australia is the only socially liberal, warm, and Western-esque nation. Why did I not mention European countries? Europe is inherently cold. It is why Europe was the last continent in the Afro-Eurasia region to be traversed by humans. While Europeans enjoy socially liberal countries (although far left and right populist parties are on the rise), the region does fade it's fare share of chilly weather.

What country is hot all year round and that i could possibly live in?

Puerto Rico ♥

What states are cold almost year round?

None,Even Alaska gets warm in late Summer. As for Coldest in the Lower 48 -Eastern Montana, North/South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Upper Michigan,Maine/Vermont/New Hampshire, Upper, Upper New York.

What countries do not have a cold winter season and have warm "summer" climate all year round?

All countries across the Equatorial line enjoy an “endless summer” all year round. Endless summer means temperatures are stable and it does not apply the passing of seasons. All they have is a wet and a dry reason season, and a short spell of mild cold weather. As long as your country is northwards or southwards, and depending on the local geographic and oceangraphic conditions, the seasonal cycle takes its place. Seasonal passing varies within each country. Say, for instance, what happens in my country, Peru. Coastal Peru definitively enjoys an oceanic influenced seasonal pattern. Highland and Amazonic Peru have its own according to its geography. As a whole, Peru is heavily influenced by Antarctic winds as nothern hemisphere does from Arctic winds.

Why does the country's climate vary year-round?

Which country’s climate?Generally the climate of a country varies due to the country recieiving different amounts of sunlight at different times of year because of the Earth’s axial tilt. But many other factors also affect the climate of a country. The UK, for example, should be much colder than it actually is due to its latitude. The reason it isn’t as cold as it should be is because the jet stream brings warm air up to it.

THE LEAST SUNNIEST COUNTRY???????????? WHERE IS IT??????? A COUNTRY WHERE IT'S COLD AND THEY GET LITTLE SUN?

Anywhere north of the Arctic Circle: Canada, Alaska, Siberia, etc.

The sun never rises during the winter.
Of course, they make up for it in the summer when the sun never sets.

Rochester NY is a pretty good candidate too. It is overcast about 150 days a year or so. This is due to our location on the south shore of Lake Ontario. We get cloud cover due to moisture coming off of both Lake Ontario and Lake Erie.

Which country would have higher temperatures year round,Laos or yugoslavia?why?

Clearly Laos, since it has a tropical climate and 'Yugoslavia' (which doesn't exist as a state anymore: after huge political/ethnic turmoil has become Serbia and Montenegro, two independant countries) has a varying climate that changes by region, but always includes colder periods during the year (such as in the continental climate, Adriatic climate and Mediterranean climate).
