Is Italy still a "rich" country?

It depends on what you mean by “rich”.The best indicator for richness is often considered GDP per capita.Italy is inside the second Decile in both these rankings based on this indicator:List of countries by GDP (nominal) per capitaList of countries by GDP (PPP) per capitaSo that we can consider Italy a rich country (but not-so-rich).It can be asserted that richness should be better measured by Wealth instead of gdp, but it is more difficult to get a measure of overall wealth. In any case some studies seem to suggest that when we try to adopt some measure of wealth, Italy gets even better results, see for instance:List of countries by wealth per adultOur conclusions change and seem to be more in accordance with the common knowledge when it comes to economic future perspectives. As well as other countries that had known economic development since the XXth century, Italy is currently experiencing low growth rates associated with demographic challenges (aging population)source: 2016’s global wealth forecast (Economist)Moreover, Italy ha additional problems related to our public debt and loss of competitivness. In particular, Italy seems to have felt behind on technology especially after the so-called “fourth industrial revolution”, See for istance: Industria 4.0, l’Italia ancora alla rincorsa dei big a livello mondialeDifficulties reflect themselves in a (relatively) high rate of unemployment: Unemployment statistics at regional levelYou see: we are somewhere between France and Greece, with significant regional differences. This is probably the main cause of complaints and pessimism about our economic situation.

Why aren't there any TV commercials for supercars like Ferrari or Lamborghini?

What is the purpose of advertising? To sell your product. With that in mind, what would the goal of Ferrari or Lamborghini be to advertising on TV?

Ferrari are already currently producing the most cars they can, and every one of those cars they make is sold. With demand already exceeding supply, having TV commercials to increase demand would just be spending extra money.

Lamborghini, in most years, could increase some production... at least assuming they could allocate the needed shared parts from VW/Audi. But it would be very close, and in general their situation in sales volume is very close to Ferrari: They are able to sell everything they make.

And, as most earlier answers have hinted at, the next part about advertising is being able to reach your key demographic. The profile of the average TV viewer is well removed from the profile of the average Ferrari or Lamborghini customer. Both companies do some advertising, but it is mainly media buys (and mostly print) that reach those customer segments (and still a fairly small amount based on the fact that in most cases, they are already sold out of anything they might be advertising).

Is Thailand A Poor Country ?

Difficult to say.

Thailand is not a real poor country. Most people are better of than most people think. Low wages means low income, true. But it also means more opportunities for business.

For example, almost every condominium has a mini-shop, laundry service and often much more. (Internet cafe, small restaurant, office services, etc.) Try to find a condominium offering that in a Western country!

But a lot of people do live under conditions that would land you in jail in a western country, if you would house your pigeons that way.

Another thing that is maybe possible in America, but not in Europe: if you are clever, willing to work hard you can get from rags to riches. you won't become a multi millionaire. The very rich will not allow that. But you can set up a small shop or restaurant and make a very decent income out of it.

Socialism in Europe provides a safety net, true. But it takes away any initiative to do something yourself. In Thailand that simply doesn't exist. What you make is mostly yours to spend the way you want it. But don't come whining to the government if it doesn't work.

How much gas money does ferrari need?

To answer this question properly, you have to do a little math. I’ll lay the groundwork, and you can plug in your values.1. Type of GasolineWithout a question, you will only be putting Premium in this supercar. In my area, premium currently costs between 2.05 and 2.20 per gallon. 2.15 is the most common price between many gas stations, so let's use that.2. Gas MileageThe Ferrari 458 Italia gets 13mpg city/17mpg highway. Let's assume we’re getting 15mpg combined.3. Distance DrivenNext we must figure out how often we drive it. The industry average for miles/year is 15,000. Of course, it's a supercar, so let's assume we only drive 10,000 miles. Now for the math. We’ll divide our 10,000 miles by 15(mpg).This gives us 666(gallons).Now we multiple 666 by 2.15.This gives us $1,431 spent per year on gas.Now you can do this for your regions gas prices and your estimated mileage per year to get your numbers.
