What Course/program Should I Take Helping Me Greatly Appreciated

Is "I greatly appreciate your help" grammatically correct?

Yes, it’s correct, but formal and a little bit old fashioned. More usual would be Thanks for your help, I appreciate it. Or if the ‘help’ is understood, simply Thanks, I appreciate it.I suppose that if you want to make your thanks more fulsome, then Thanks for your help, I greatly appreciate it is the obvious choice; though still formal, as well as being a bit of a mouthful. So you could shorten it a little with: Thanks for your help, greatly appreciated. Thanks (for your help) - much appreciated is shorter still, and would be my choice; in that I can’t think of anything else at the moment. You may now practice all this by thanking me for my help; it would be appreciated.

Is it correct to say, "your understanding and patience is greatly appreciated"?

As a general rule, use a plural verb with two or more subjects when they are connected by and.Example: A smartphone and an Internet connection are all I need. The exceptions to the rule are terms that include the word and and are considered a single noun, such as breaking and entering, bed and breakfast, rack and pinion, etc.It is not always easy to determine if a combinations of nouns connected by and is to be considered as a single noun. For example: Cookies and cream are not included in my shopping list, but cookies and cream is my favorite ice cream flavor.Patience and understanding (or understanding and patience) are commonly used together, so they have come to be treated as a single noun in some contexts:We thank you for your patience and understanding.Your patience and understanding is appreciated. But,The strongest qualities of a teacher are patience and understanding.Answering your question: Yes, Your understanding and patience is greatly appreciated is correct. If two words connected with and may be considered as a single noun, use the singular form of the verb. Otherwise, use the plural form of the verb.

To graduate from high school, a student MUST be successful in both an English and a Social Studies course. The number of possible 6-course programs that would allow a student to graduate is represented by which statement?

b) (7)C (4)
c) (9)P (4)
d) (9)C (4)

Which one is correct, "We would appreciate it if you sent us…" or "We would appreciate it if you would send us…"? Is the second one at least usable (maybe in some special cases)? Is there a better way to say it?

Both are gramnatically correct and both convery same meaning of impossibility ie the listener will not send it.

Is it correct to say "very much appreciate it"?

All the answers to this question are great. Might I add a small insight? As some people have suggested, we often use the structure “It is very much appreciated”.If you listen carefully to the end of the word ‘appreciated’ (past participle) and contrast that with ‘appreciate + it’ (present + pronoun), you’ll find that they sound very similar.appreciated /a pri shi ya ted/appreciate it /a pri shi ya tet/Notice the /t/ and the /d/. They are produced at the same place in your mouth. Sometimes a /d/ will sound like a /t/ and vise versa depending on the environment. Many students and indeed English children often mistake an ‘ed’ participle for a present verb + it.You can , of course, say both, but make sure your subject is adjusted for each one.I very much appreciate it.It is very much appreciated.I hope that clears up any doubts you may have from what you think you over-heard.

In the sentence "We appreciate you taking the time to X," should it be "you" or "your"?

Technically, when we ‘appreciate’, we ‘appreciate’ something. Here the ‘something’ we ‘appreciate’ is someone’s action (taking the time to X). Now either version here would be an understandable shorthand way to get our point across. But I think ‘your’ is probably more technically correct because the sentence would still make perfect sense if you added the words ‘action in’ after ‘your’.

Which online program is the best for massage therapy?

I'm currently a massage therapy student, and because massage therapy is a physical job, you are required, in most states, to have so many classroom hours, including practical classes.

Anatomy classes and things like that can probably be done online, but you need the classroom experience to teach you proper body mechanics and correct methodology.

I'm posting the link to the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork below. You can find out what your state's requirements are there. Good luck!

As far as financial aid goes, you may want to fill out your FAFSA to see what is offered to you. I'll post that link too.

Also, I love my classes. I actually look forward to going to class since I started. I hope that helps your decision.

IBEW residential apprenticeship program.?

I am an IBEW electrician. The apprenticeship takes 5 years to complete and become a journeyman wireman. In my opinion you are better off in the journeyman course than the residential course. You make more money and have the opportunity to work anywhere in the US or Canada once you complete the apprenticeship. In Central Illinois you go to school at least once a week. You are out from Memorial Day to Labor Day. You are paid a percentage of the journeyman scale during the apprenticeship depending on your year of school. There is quite a bit of algebra and trig during the school terms., don't let this scare you. I started the apprenticeship at the age of 42! You have to be committed to studying. Benefits: There is a tremendous pension. The pay is excellent, where I live the scale is $30.65 an hour. should work be low and you get laid off you can go to any IBEW anywhere and sign there out of work list. There are no interviews etc. you are qualified as a journeyman wireman and you just have to wait your turn to be called. The IBEW electricians do not have jobs, they have careers. Go the IBEW.org web site and read it. Feel free to email me if you have any specific questions.
