Why do i have "beef curtains"?
That's the most disgusting name for (perfectly normal) female genitals I know... I'm a guy, and I've heard *lots* of them. Women's genitals come in all shapes, sizes and colours... and they go through a lot of changes in all three during puberty. It's all determined by the genes the woman in question was given 9 months before she was born... and in women who've given birth, some of the colour changes during pregnancy end up being permanent. Some have big, puffy outer lips and tiny little inner ones that can't even be seen without spreading their legs and outer lips both... some have smallish outer lips and inner lips that stick out firmly from them or hang... some have one lip that's one shape and the other lip is completely different... some have pink, purple, grayish or dark brown inner lips... some have pale or dark outer lips... some have really big or really little clitorises. Knowing and accepting your unique "genital geography" isn't something mothers usually pass along to their daughters... but it's something every girl and woman should learn. It's a shameful fact about our entire society that most females don't learn *any* of this stuff until they've already suffered (just as you're likely doing right now) through totally unfounded insecurity and fear about their own perfectly normal bodies. Some of them are needlessly embarrassed (ashamed or humiliated even) for *decades* for lack of this simple knowledge. Check it out and ease your mind. How common are large inner labia?
You already have all the facts, and yet you cannot believe them... Here they are again: - Your labia aren't very large. They are an average size. - It's normal to have inner labia that extend past your outer labia: most women have that. - What you see in porn isn't real. - Your friends are young and not fully developed yet. - Your male friends are very immature. Probably because they are worried about the way their penis curves or the fact that one of their testicles hangs lower than the other. Many, many men will consider your vulva (vagina means the internal parts) to be that 'perfect' one you think is out of your reach. There are complete websites devoted to female genitals that look like yours. Your labia are about as gross as your earlobes... which means, not gross at all. Labia aren't ugly and your vulva isn't ugly either. While it's true that we all have flaws, this isn't a flaw. This is just how a normal, healthy, lovely female body part looks and feels. Funny how bigger parts are apparently desirable on men, and are seen as ugly and gross on women. Not fair, is it?
