How did Saddam Hussein die?
He was tried in the Iraqi court but lost the case and was sentenced to hung which was how he died.Fun fact, he said because he was a military man he wanted to be killed by firing squad, but they sentenced him to be hung anyway. Isn’t it funny how he was so guilty that he tried to pick which way he was going to be killed.

When people are executed by hanging, they can die two different ways. Either the rope snaps their neck and they die instantaneously, or it doesn't, and they're left to hang and be strangled to death. Injuries to the neck are common in hanging, so it would be normal for Saddam to have rope burns, lacerations, and bleeding on his neck. According to witnesses, he died instantly. Many report hearing his neck snap.

Was Saddam Hussein bad? Why was he hung?
Prez Bush had nothing to do with any of it. They already had the death penalty on the books (thanks to Saddam) long before the US Military hunted him down and put him on trial. Saddam was givien the death sentence for allowing his military and police forces to arrest, torture, mutilate and murder THOUSANDS of Kurds and other so-called "trouble-makers" such as those who dared to not support the Bath Party. To date, I believe that there have been no fewer than 100 or so "Mass Graves" unearthed in which 25-300 bodies have been discovered. They have all been murdered by gunshots or other grizzly methods. It was also proven that he ordered his "scientist" to develop poison gas which he used to wipe out an ENTIRE VILLAGE of hundreds of people in an Iraqi village north of Baghdad. Men, women and babies were all ruthlessly MURDERED in the attack. These attacks and mass graves have all been well documented by US Military forces, civilians and the World Health Organization and United nations Security Forces. These facts have been published in many US magazines. Saddam Hussein was the modern day equivalent of Adolph Hitler. It is well known that Saddam idolized Hitler, studies his techniques and was "well read" about Nazi and Stormtrooper SS techniques in combat warfare and the treatment of the Jews during the war. Saddam absolutely deserved to be hung for his crimes against humanity. It's just TOO BAD that the George Bush (Senior) didn't follow through at the end of Desert Storm and arrest Saddam after we won the war. The George Bush (Junior) made SURE that it was FINISHED under his watch, and for THAT we have to THANK HIM for bringing stabilization and "peace" to the area. It's still not a happy place to have to live, but things are improving there everyday. Too bad they couldn't sell tickets to see the hanging.....THOUSANDS of Iraqi citizens would have bought a ticket to watch.
What terrible things did Saddam Hussein do?
In 1990 Iraq under Saddam invaded the small oil rich Arab state of Kuwait. America and Britain had to force him to leave in the 1st Gulf war (link) He was beaten but allowed to stay in power in Iraq,but by 2003 he was flouting UN orders so America and Britain had to invade again in the 2nd Gulf war. Saddam was executed sometime after.
