My experience is that some men do like to cuddle while others see it as a form of fore play to sex! My husband is the latter and I love to cuddle but, I do not want it to be a precursor to love making!! I have talked to him about this but, it is just who he is and apart of him, period! You DO NOT learn to talk to boys......you learn how to talk to a PERSON by being real and honest about finding out more about that person. Find out what they like, what they like to do, what are their passions, what are their quirks, who are their friends (their friends tell alot about them), what their goals are, where they see themselves in 10 years..... Getting the idea? You would do the same thing with a girl or a boy you didn't know well. Give him a box to hide in and some toys to hide in it. Then, if the boy is confident with you enough, roar at him (while smiling) and chase him around. Kids that age love being chased. Swing him around in the air. That's the easiest way to get a toddler to say "Again!" If you don't mind noise, give him a pot and show him how to beat it with a wooden spoon. This is good for hours. If none of this works, pull out the big guns. Put a nice big bed sheet on the floor and dump a lot of raw rice in it. Give him a kitchen funnel and a couple of plastic cups. Show him how to pour from one to the other, then let him make up his own game. Don't worry if he eats some--it's just rice.
