What do feelings feel like, and how do I know that mine are the same as another person's? What if I do not experience feelings, but instead am experiencing illusions of emotions?
How we feel could be a new feeling or an old feeling that we have felt. What caused the feeling could be synthetic, fake, manipulated, tricked. We can feel what we feel because of an illusion. How we feel. how that illusion made us feel, however, is still how we feel. It is real even if it was manufactured.We feel a sense of amazement and wonder when we see a magic trick done despite know in that it is a magic trick, an illusion. The feeling we get from it is still really how we feel. Just as we can be tricked into loving someone who did not love us in return. We may hate them once we find out but the love we once felt for them was still real.There are no illusions when it comes to emotions in terms of the self. Feelings will always be real as we have no control over how we feel. We can fake or pretend how we feel through our actions but we will not feel the way we pretend to be.We can fake being in love with someone with words of affection. Doing what they want and ask. Remembering what they say. We can make someone the center of our world and have them believe that we loved them while never really loving them. In fact, the opposite could be true. All that was done could have been done because we felt hatred towards them, and did what we did because we wanted to ruin their lives later on.We cannot change how we feel, stop how we feel or begin to feel simply by wanting it. We can only hope to influence how we feel, but ultimately, how we feel, is not within our control.If consistently the consequence of us not wanting to feel the way we did result in us not feeling the way we did. Then we have control over our emotions. If we continue to feel the way we did even when we didn’t, then. We don’t always have control over our emotions. If we don’t know why we didn’t feel the way that we wanted to feel. We have little control over the way we feel. If we cannot tell if this time we will feel the way we want to feel. We have no control over the way we feel, even if there are times where we ended up feeling the way we wanted to feel.
What does the gut feeling feel like?
It's your mommy instinct! It will start kicking in any time now! For daddies, it does not usually happen until they see their child for the first time. For mommies, it happens during pregnancy because you are "more connected" to the baby. I always wanted a boy first, but I knew when I was pregnant with my first that it was a girl! Don't ask me why or how, there is no why or how, you just know...kind of like you just know when it's your one true love kind of thing. Second time around I knew I was having a boy and it turned out to be so. Maybe I am just a lucky guesser? Don't be yourself up if you are wrong. It's all just fun and games and you will love the baby no matter what the gender.

I feel like a horrible wife for feeling this way?
My husband is 56.He’s had cancer since 2010. I’ve slowly watched him and his health deteroriare. I work full time and we still have a son in college. My husband passed away on Saturday. I can’t help but feel relief not only for my husband but for myself. For the past year we’ve had nurses in and out of our home. It’s been a lot on me and my children. Am I a horrible person to feel relief that my husband has finally passed on? I feel like I can now finally move forward with my life. I feel guilty for feeling this way.
What does a gut feeling feel like?
Its not a physical feeling. Its a deep and firm knowledge that you have about something that is impossible to ignore. You cant explain where the knowledge came from but for some unexplainable reason you just know it is true. Sometimes this knowledge causes us a lite distress because we are compelled to act upon it, which is usually always the wise move, but we can't justify or explain why in any rational way. Its the type of knowledge that we get from things we percieve with our intuition and not with our conscious logical mind.
