What Do I Do Help ;~;

What can I do with my life to help others?

I love helping other people, I have so much love for people even if I don't know them. I want to do more in the world, and I know I can't fix everything in the world but I wanna devote my life to helping others. How can I do that and still survive myself?

LGBT: help! Honk Honk what do I do?

What do you do about what?

Baby cichlids? what do i do? Help?

NO NO NO, you do NOT put them in the main tank at that age. It's a misnomer about cichlid parenting in terms of Africans. ONLY the female who mouth broods knows enough to not eat them. The males, including the father of those fry can and you better bet will try to eat them. Male Africans only in a handful out of the 1000's of species give parental care, so the truth of the matter is, only the one that carries the eggs offers any level of care. THAT is a fact.

Even then, after about a week or so, the female will not accept the fry back into her mouth as it is so putting them in the main tank with the mom really does little for you. The UGF shouldn't be that much of an issue and if it is, then simply disconnect that when you get a HOB filter. Going to be a little tough trying to transfer the media, but is a necessary evil in this case.

You might want to consider in the future, if your female spawns again, to just simply leave her in the smaller tank with the fry. She's no danger to them, and mouthbrooders need a few weeks of recovery time from carrying the brood as it is. Putting a female that just let go of a brood too soon can cause a male to get her to spawn again too soon, will become weak and die.

Growth rates vary from species to species. I'd imagine you should see a nice grow out rate the first month or so, provided you are offering a good high protein food source such as de-capsulated brine shrimp or baby brine shrimp. After a few weeks, you can opt as well for finely crushed up flakes then. The key here is a good food source like that, and offer it at least 2 times a day, up to four. Fry tanks get messy that way but part of the growth rates. You'll have to clean that tank more often then the main tank, but it's only temporary. It'll take about 2-3 months before your fry reach a good safe size to go into the adult tank. How or where I know this? Have breed many generations of about 6 different African species and now am keeping Madagascar Tilapia's. Trust me, you don't want to move those fry into that main tank just yet. ONLY the female will help and even then after a week, she won't do nothing. These are not South American types where both male and female guard over them.

Which is correct, "is there anything I can help / help you with / help with"?

- Is there anything I can help? - Unless you are addressing a group of "things," this is wrong.- Is there anything I can help with? - Common enough colloquially, but to me it feels like it's missing a syllable. You might also hear "Anything I can help with?" because people tend to leave off words in speech. I wouldn't recommend using this form in formal writing.- Is there anything I can help you? - This is wrong.- Is there anything I can help you with? - All good. Also, you could say (informally, in speech) Anything I can help you with?And I'll add these to your list:Can I help [you]?How can I help?What do you want me to do?**This is based on the assumption that the person looks in need of assistance or has already asked you for help. Otherwise it could be taken as "too straightforward," demanding, and exasperated.

What can I do to help a friend with an abusive parent?

Know that parents do the best they know how. It sucks that parenting classes aren't a priority in modern society but we have what we have. Many are the children who have suffered abuse at the hands of ignorant parents. If you are not going to bring it to the attention of the proper authorities then know that "this too shall pass". I ran away at sixteen to free myself from my abuse and never looked back. Once you have your freedom you may live your life however you choose.Until then know that you are not your parents, you are not responsible for their behavior and you do not have to be like them. Do not allow this to harden your heart. My oldest brother, who suffered even greater abuse than I has chosen to carry his pain throughout his life and is very bitter. Leave this pain behind you. We have come to this life for whatever reason and only we can decide who we will choose to be regardless of what circumstances we find ourselves in. I like to say when asked how I am doing "Awesome, no matter how fucked up it is." I am sorry for your pain but you are more than your misery.One thing I used to do when being abused was say "call the ambulance when you are done." Hope this helps.

My friend refuses to eat at all. What can I do help her?

Obviously I'm taking a stab in the dark here but she may have anorexia. If this is the case, there are a few things that may help. Usually, anorexia is about control. At least, it was for me. If her financial situation is bad and there's little she can do to improve it, cutting down on food might be her way of trying to regain some control over it. It might also be a way to punish herself. If the above sounds familiar, try to subtly drop hints that may help her to abandon this belief. Things like how taking enough food and vitamins will prevent you from getting ill (keeps the medical bill down) and makes you more productive because you can concentrate better. Etc. Don't directly discuss it with her, just make sure she's there when you say things like this. If she feels attacked she will not listen. If you suspect her self esteem and the way she views herself might be the problem, do the same thing. But talk about how you can eat healthily on a low budget (again do not direct this at her; instead say that you're doing this for yourself) and invent a model acquaintance who found out that eating enough calories consistently from a variety of foods help her keep the weight off instead of starving herself. I cannot stress enough that confronting someone with an eating disorder about said eating disorder will backfire. The more my family pushed me, the less I listened.  Lastly, consider that she might feel really uncomfortable about you guys buying her food. It's very sweet but it kind of emphasizes her 'failure' financially.  In any case she is lucky to have such kind and concerned friends.
