What do I need for prom?
your first prom? hahaha ok well you need a date, she needs a dress, you need a matching tie/corsage for her, you need money for dinner and a relative to take pictures of you two, a way of transportation, and if shes a decent date she will bring a booteneir. (or however that's spelled). you also need tickets.
Do you need a corsage for prom?
so im running a bit behind with prom and everything. My friend just realized that my date or i dont have any corsages or anything like that picked out yet. My friend said to just go and get my own and stuff because my date doesnt know what to get. The prom is friday so its a little late notice. My date and i arent dating or anything..do i really need to get a corsage, i didnt even know they did that still. Is it something that i should get or is it not really a big deal or will everyone have one? idk what to do help!
Do you need to dance at prom?
No. By all means you don't have to dance at the prom, but you could give it a try.It's ok if you can't dance, or if u dance like a monkey, or baboon even. The most important thing is, you are trying on being who you are. When you looked back at that moment, you will laugh at yourself as to how hard you were trying to impress him. At least you know you will laugh, rather than regretting the moment.By the way, I have never experienced prom nights in my life. The most I got to experience are annual dinners hosted by my school or university and we were dictated by strict dress code right to a point most of us ended up dressed in bed sheet. So, I envy you and your date for being able to dress up and have fun at your own discretion.

If you go on prom by yourself do you still need A CORSAGE?
No you do not need one. Corsages are traditionally handed to you from your date. However, some parents choose to buy their daughters one. Three of my friend's moms did that, and it was pretty cute. It's prom, if you want to wear one wear it! Have fun.
Can I go to prom alone?? Do I need a corsage for prom if I'm going alone?
It's fine to go alone if you want. The evening will be more fun if you plan to go with other friends who don't have dates, so you aren't hanging out by yourself when everyone else has dates. It's really up to you and what you feel comfortable with. It's not lame. One time I went out with friends who didn't have dates for a big event (other than a prom) and we had sort of an "anti-prom" and did something else entirely. If you decide to go, you don't need a corsage and a garter might be fun.
What do kids do after prom?
I live in Wisconsin, USA. At our school, most people go to Post-Prom, which is a party at school with food and games and such. After that, prom couples who are also real-life couples usually have sex. Those who go as friends (probably the majority of couples) either go to their respective houses to sleep or go to someone's house and drink with a large group.
Do you need to put something under a prom dress to make it stay poofy ?
Yes you can put crinoline. There are different sizes. You can either get a big one so it can be really poofy..or one that is not so big to the point where you can barely see it. That usually helps it look better. I used that for my prom dress.
Do you have to wear a tux to prom?
Not technically, but yes.If you don’t wear a tux to Prom, you’ll be one of, or possibly THE only one.Prom is different from Homecoming because it’s even fancier, a tuxedo fits the occasion.
