What Do Old People Feel

Do you feel like crying when you see old people?

I'm really scared of dying, and when I get old and gray, I know that it's only a matter of a few years and I will be facing my own end. I always wonder if old people fear death but know that they are about to face it soon; how do they deal with it? I'm turning 29 this year, and next year I will be 30... I'm really scared that one day I'll wake up old and wrinkly and just waiting for my own death...

Why do I feel bad/sad when I see old people?

When I see my old uncles or my dad I feel so bad like I have so many thoughts "omg hows life gonna be like when they arent alive :("
i feel sad when they struggle , even small things like picking up stuff from the floor.

When I see young people, I dont feel bad or sad. Because I know they can handle stuff on their own

How do old people feel about being old?

Real life for each individual is different as much as fingerprints are different. For some a beautiful spring follows to a beautiful summer, a spectacular autumn and the enjoyable winter. Very often for this people is hard to define their age as old , at 50,60,70 or 80 they are amazed with their life and as a viewers-participants they hungrily enjoy the surprises, which every period brings. For them it is hard to define time, when the old age begins.Others love the diminished responsibility old age brings. They begin to call themselves grandfathers and grandmothers after 50, they love to unite in the groups of people who are transfixed on the past.Other group regret about lost youth. All the good things they used to have they obtained because of their physical appearance. Handsome man feverishly transplant the lost hair and the beautiful women are spending fortune for refurbishing their bodies with the help of eager plastic surgeons. It is nothing whong with the desire to look or to be young. In the book “Stuck in Twenty” which is about to be published by Amazon, two doctors discuss the significance of “inner youth” as a determinant of any age.Inner youth always keeps the person young regardless the age for all the people. It is the secret of happiness in the future of human existence.

As you get older do you feel its nice that people still remember your birthday?

I'm going to be 32 on Monday (yes bring on all the old man jokes lol) but I have two friends I've known since 1989 and every year without fail they send me both Birthday and Christmas cards and I just think its so nice how people remember. Sorry if this sounds too sentimental but was wondering if you feel the same.

Why do some older people feel they need to complain about something endlessly and how do I get them to stop?

I have few older people who I work for or is my sponsor. I notice that some of them are alway complaining about everything in the world.

For example I have this one older lady who I work for. I often have to meet her and her husband at restaturant. She often embarasse both of us because she would alway complain about foods no matter what. It can be perfect then she would complain about it. She would either make a huge scene with waitress or manager over it or complain about it all way through meal.

Other man who is my sponsor often have me come to meet with him to give him update about my training/fight. Sometime he would come to my gym. He would alway make comment about how I'm training improperly or how my stragery isn't great. He have never done any fighting sport so he doesn't know that much at all.

Also my uncle who is in late 50's is in middle of remodel his house. He would alway talk about how tools doesn't work as it should when he was using it incorrectly or expect it to

What do old people think life is?

I’ll take a stab at answering as I will soon to be 75 year old. Since much of my academic background was counseling and educational psychology…I think life is a series of stages. I was married and had 2 children then divorced after 20 years—but I had completed a good education. I married again; my husband died in 2013. In my current stage of life, old age, I can truthfully say I have never been happier. In 2014, I relocated to Florida and Life is Good!! I live in a great condo with a water view, I have friends who invite me to go out, come to dinner, etc. I am active in a local church (one day a week I volunteer in their thrift shop). My health is good and my financial situation is good—I travel (my most recent trip was in January to four countries in Southeast Asia). I like to cook, and when I go to the grocery store, I buy what I want without worrying about comparing prices. For over three years, I’ve been seeing a retired Marine…I hope my grandchildren don’t see this, but I have never been happier in bed! I guess the bottom line is, seek happiness –it is possible no matter what your life stage is.

Why do I feel like crying when I see old people, even when they are happy?

Not so easy to answer, because only you hold the true key to what you feel, but because you asked , I’ll try to answer as best I can. Grief is a tone-level. It can be restimulated by a lot of things, but in your case many people are fed a lot of false-data about life, old age, death and the continuous cycle of existence as a spiritual being. If you’ve been led to believe that after old-age and death there is nothing, that’d be a reason to feel awful when you see people heading for their end of life. That isn’t true of course, there are multiple lives and that’s a fact, but that fact (for the purposes of controlling people for other benefit) has been hidden, discredited and made fun of, turned into a scary, ‘unfaceable’, terrible, taboo subject that mis-emotion can easily be associated with getting old or dying, simply because of all the lies, and a false idea of loss or lack or finality that is thus created by oneself to fill the missing story that no-one is willing to tell you the truth about. I spend some time each day talking with my 94 year-old dad, and he’s looking forward to being in a new healthy body once again to get on with all that he’s got intentions to do.I hope that helps.Connect with me on my blog if you’d like to continue the conversation. The official blog of Jeremy (Jez) Feldmesser

Does anyone else feel sorry for old people?

Yes ! it's really sad sometimes , i mean it's sad how you lose alot of abilities when you get older and need alot of help . It's messed up how you learn so much as you grow , and you get used to the things because you've had it your whole life and then you lose a whole bunch of abilities you had and need help as if you're a baby again . (like you get fragile , sometimes have trouble walking , making it to the bathroom , etc etc etc )

It GMH when i see the ones who are really old but can do everything on their own independently .
