Why do Manchester United fans hate Leeds F.C.?

It goes both ways but Leeds fans definitely hate Man Utd more than United fans hate Leeds. I ’m from near Leeds and know a lot of Leeds fans and the level of hate is unbelievable. It’s been mentioned already on here but it goes way back to War of the Roses between the houses of York and Lancaster so there is a general rivalry between the two regions which filtered its way through to football. Leeds were also a very successful team during the 60’s and 70’s and rivalled the other top teams, including Manchester United, for silverware.

Why do people hate Manchester United so much?

A plethora of factors.First of all, you have to remember that any big club that has a very big global presence will garner “haters” across the globe without question. The bigger your fanbase is, the bigger the chance is your club will attract nay-sayers.For decades thanks to Sir Alex Ferguson, Manchester United dominated the Premier League without breaking a sweat. Now that they've fallen off their perch, it is much easier for haters to laugh at their current short-comings (and as a result they are even more vocal). In a league like the Premier League in which competition is rife, and there are about 4–5 contenders every season (this can fluctuate as the season progresses), the fans of those other contenders obviously aren't going to take kindly to United. So now you have 3–4 fan-bases that automatically want to see you fail.If you're a smaller team and you've been beaten for 30 years (Sunderland for instance) at Old Trafford without pause, then your fanbase will also hate United.Money; and this is a recent one especially after Ferguson left. Nowadays there are actually many clubs that spend heavily each transfer window to strengthen their squad, but conversely there are still many other “smaller” teams that lack the financial means and loathe the bigger teams that have deeper pockets (although the fans of these smaller clubs take pride in achieving whatever success they can get with their minimal budgets). After Ferguson left, United has spent some serious cash on new signings and contracts, and are now in the same echelon as Madrid, City, Chelsea and PSG in terms of spending.RivalriesHalf of Liverpool hates youHalf of your own city hates youBarcelona fans like to pick on you because they've beaten you in 2 European finalsSome Bayern fans are still bitter about 99′Many Chelsea fans are still bitter about 08′So there you have it.But remember, even though it seems like Manchester United are the most despised club on the globe, that distinction belongs to Real Madrid.

Don't you find it funny how anti-manchester united fans always contradict themselves?

First they claim all refs are biased in their favor. But then they want SAF to be reprimanded because he keeps arguing with referees for not giving him the calls he wants. If he always argues with refs as you united haters claim, then obviously the refs aren't always biased in United's favor. Your logic just isn't there. You can't have your cake and eat it too and claim both arguments to be true as one contradicts the other. Though I suppose you united haters would also love to drive on both sides of the road at the same time as well.

Why do people call Manchester United fans glory hunters?

Here is the reason that Manchester United fans are called glory hunters:1.Because we are:Lets face it. People were DIE HARD FANS as long as ferguson was in charge. The moment he retired and moyes took the reigns, people changes their favourite club faster than Chelsea FC change managers. The biggest proof of  the club having so many glory hunters is their facebook page. One day it is 42 million people liking the page, then we win three matches in a row and it is suddenly 45 million, then we lost two matches and its back to 44 million. And now when giggs is the manager its 47 million. Some fans we have.2. No one knows squat when it comes to history:United has the greatest history in terms of a football club in the modern era. Our history is full of ups and downs and drama and emotions and glories and sorrows. But Barely 10% of the fan know anything about the history. Most poeple dont even know when was Ferguson appointed. They have no clue about the busby babes, the holy trinity, the fifth Beatle, the Munich air disaster and worst of all they dont know what is the full name of Sir Alex Ferguson. These bloody plastic fans are the reason we are taken as a joke when it comes to supporting our football club.3. We support individual players of the club more than the club itself:Most of the people who claim to be red devils are mostly supporters of individual players rather than the club itself. Earlier it was Beckham, then it was Ronaldo, then last season it was Van Persie and it is Rooney at the moment. Most of the people fail to support the club rather than the players and when hard decisions are made and players are sold they start questioning the club which is really sad to see.

Why are ESPNFC pundits so harsh on Manchester United?

There are a few things to why the pundits are tough on Manchester United on ESPN.Firstly, since Sir Alex left, you have to say they deserve it. The only three major trophies they have won in that time are an FA cup, a League cup and the UEFA Europa League(formerly known as Uefa Cup). A pretty poor return. They have not managed a title challenge since Fergie left and have done poorly or not even qualified for the Champions League. This is despite heavy spending in the transfer market where they can also be rightly critisised again for a number of poor decisions.Secondly most of the pundits on ESPN FC were playing in the era when Manchester United were most dominant. Shaka, Craig et al were playing in the league when United really were utterly dominant. Therefore they probably have a higher standard for United. Finally Manchester United are probably the biggest club in the world. ESPN wants viewers and traffic. Attacking Man United is great click bait!

Why is Chelsea FC BETTER than Manchester United?

I can give you alot of reason why Chelsea are a better team then Utd.

1.Chelsea fans are not arrogant like the bandwagon utd ,glory hunting fans who think claim that utd is the best team , when the most successful team in england is LIVERPOOL FC.

2.Utd have a sick manager , who has ordered his players to dive in the penalty box "former utd defender Jap Stam mentioned this fact in his autobiography after which he was sold " poor ferguson.

3.Their manager accuses referees whenever his team fails to performs.

4.Ferguson dosent gives any match interviews when his side loses , examples 1-4 loss to liverpool , no interview , Lmao

Chalsea fans, management and the managers are very down to earth people unlike utd supporters !

Thats why I will have Chelsea over utd anyday.
