What Do U Think About These Lyrics

What do you think of these rap lyrics?

Your lyrics are very eloquent.  Sounds as if you are battling with a toxic virus of "hate/rage" and are recovering with strong immunity against future infections.   Interpersonal boundaries are very important to recognize in order to avoid infections of any vulnerable emotions within the self and/or others.   Take care!

I am writing a song that I have been working on for a year and I’m finally finished. Here are lyrics: the song is called “Sherona”. Lyrics: Do you remember our trip to California? Do you remember the sun daze wedding ring? On Sherona when we jumped when we sang sherona, when we drive, when we come now it’s 2014 time for Atlantic waterfall we are fruit on the grapevine because we are done with the wine in the end Sherona when we drive when we come Sherona when it’s time when you like Sherona!!!

This is a good start but it's not quite connecting with the listener. I feel slightly disconnected from your story. I get it but it doesn't mean anything to me. This could be that it's a little too direct. We need to write it so that it is a bit more interpretive. This makes it appeal to more people and allows people to find something personal in it even if it's not what you meant it to mean. But don't write it too vague as well. I might rephrase (just an idea):"My thoughts are nocturnalMy feelings stay inside."my thoughts/head dwells in the cold of night. my heart trapped insideif only you could feel like i feelwe'll be alrightMy head gives the listening something to relate too, thoughts is more abstract but using my head means thoughts. This is the same with heart, they can feel it as they can relate. It also has different meanings for everyone. Again you could feel, is a stronger connecting word. When you say everything will be alright what do you mean. I've used We'll be alright. So this person is saying I'm in this relationship and I'm keeping things hidden for this other person. If this other person could only know what I'm feeling our relationship won't suffer that much. This relates to a more universal experience and people can connect with it.Keep this in mind and listen to your favorite songs and other songs as well. I don't really like RnB but enjoyed Climax from Usher, look for those connecting words like "I'm on my knees" instead of saying I'm begging, knees you can kind of feel but begging is harder to connect with. Don't over use it and get the "feel" for where it's needed. Writing is a process like any other art, constantly refine it till it sounds great! Hope this helps. Keep working at it, you'll find your style and your writing voice!

What do you think of these song lyrics I wrote?

I wrote song lyrics for a song I’m writing, the name of the song is “Melissa’s parents”. Here are the lyrics: Melissa cries, Melissa fights for her life, she’s on the way to psycho with her dad, Melissa smokes, and then she’s broke she’s got no way of conformity, Melissa fights with her mom over the night but the right thing to do is fly a kite, Melissa’s parents, working day and night they come home and pray for Melissa to be okay, Melissa chokes, when she’s smokes shes on her way to recovery. Melissa writes, that she’s shy but the teacher still makes her present in front of the class, Melissa’s bass, where she learned in class won’t do her any good in this awful world, so she’s curls in a ball and makes her little brother fall, Melissa’s fine but she’s nine so why are Melissa’s parents a canine?

666 Calling the devil
666 Server of sin
666 He's the savior
666 In serpents skin

Shapeshifter gonna take the other form now
Blood ritual darkness is born
Shapeshifter gonna take your life now
Blood ritual darkness is born

Put your faith in god, and everything's alright
Put your faith in god, and rise above
Put your faith in god, and sleep well at night
Put your faith in god, peace and love

Amen everyone is saved now
Amen we are cleansed of sin
Amen you're the fools they own you
Never free, never been

Serpent society their slithering dynasty
Take a look around
Serpent society their slithering dynasty
It's all around

They rule you
They rule you
They rule you
They rule you
