What Do You Do If A Teacher Is Trying To Get With You

What can I do if my teacher is trying to fail me?

I had a teacher actually do this. The previous year I had won the state mathematics championship and we moved to the city from the country. First day in class. I always arrive just in time, i sat in the front. the teacher asked me to go to the office and bring a box of coloured chalk.I did. He opened the box and started screaming at me. You know i dont like purple chalk. You did this deliberately. I told him I have been at the school less than 10 minutes and dont know anything or anyone. However, he continued to treat me badly all year. I really did not care since i knew the work and it was easy.At the end of the year he failed me. I finished the final exam 2 hour exam in less than 20 minutes.MY mother went to the principal and told him I had won the championship the year before and asked how I could have failed? He was dumbfounded.then my mother took this to the education board and they reassessed my tests and I was passed with high marks. The teacher was sacked, Terminated. If you are having a hard time and truly believe you should be passing and the teacher is trying to fail you, (Not just because you are borderline) then you need to go discuss it with the vice principal or Principal. Try to have details of the evidence and reasons why you believe this is true and take it with you when you see the principal or vice principal. do not go to the duty-teacher class or form-room teacher or any other subordinate. If they move you to another class then all will be good. IF NOTthen the next thing to do is to change schools. If it means a lot to you to pass that subject then and it is a critical year then just move on and leave the teacher to suffer the long term consequencesYou have a right to fair teaching and assessment and ask for it. Do not say anything that is not true or accuse for things you cannot prove.

I think my teacher is trying to molest me?

So, I switched class periods about a month ago and I have a new Spanish teacher. The first day I walked in he stopped talking and looked me up and down and then said "Wow. You're sitting up front." Meaning "Wow. You're sitting right in front of my desk so I can stare at you until you cringe in discomfort." Every time I look at him he's staring at me. He compliments me on how well my body looks in whatever I'm wearing. there are a lot of football players in that class and he always tells them "Sorry, guys, she's mine." But he says it "jokingly." Its extremely uncomfortable. But today he went too far. I missed school yesterday and of course, just my luck, there was an "important test" that I missed. A test that he never told us to study for the day before. Anyway, today he tells me to come after school to make it up. When the bell rang, I ran to his class, which is outside of the main building, as fast as I could to see if hopefully thered be at least another student so that I wouldn't have to be alone with him. But no. It was him and me. I sat way in the back and took the test as fast as I could. When I was done, I went up to his desk to turn it in. Before I. Could escape, he asks me for a hug. I don't know why but I did. I gave him one of those hugs where you try to keep your body as far away as possible while using one arm to sort of pat their backs. After a second I tried pulling away and he wouldn't let me go. I said "Mr. Hernandez what are you doing? I had to literally push his perverted old @$$ off of me. He apologized and then asked me to please not say anything. I just ran out of there. I even forgot my purse that's how fast I bolted. I already have to deal with the guys at school who incessaantly holler at me now I don't know what I should do. Do I tell or do keep quiet or should I black mail him for grades?

How do teachers deal with a student who is trying to attack you physically (and does not stop)?

The first thing you need to do is find a way to protect yourself without engaging the student further. Dodge attacks if possible, and leave the classroom if you must. You can never attack or incapacitate a student, even if you feel threatened. Remember the students have far more rights and protections than you do.At the earliest possible moment, alert someone to help. Send a student down to the office, or call an administrator to assist you. Let them know you are being physically attacked so they bring the resource officer. You should also be looking out for the safety of other students. If you need to, evacuate the classroom and leave the “dangerous” student in the classroom until help can arrive.Your priority is to keep yourself and the other students safe.If the student who was attacking you physically hurt you, and they are at an age (and in a position) to understand hurting others is unacceptable; please press charges. Not pressing charges lets them know they can get away with anything. When not to press charges:They are in elementary school, and may not know or understand what they didThey have just suffered a serious brain injury and are adjusting to new hormones and realitiesThis is an expected part of their behavior plan (ie- a known problem) and you could deescalate it in accordance with their behavior planYou know the reason for their tantrum (ie- mom just died), and they merely destroyed property but did not threaten anyone directly or hurt anyone (think 3 year old temper tantrum)That is it. If none of these hold true, press charges.Good Luck.

How do you get a teacher fired?

It is very hard to get a teacher fired who has tenure (meaning they have been there long enough and are no longer probabtionary). Even if their yearly evaluations are terrible, that is not grounds to get rid of them if they are tenured. Principals can put teachers of poor quality on a remediation plan, which may eventually lead to a displacement, or actual firing, but the remediation plans have to be carried out in a specific way and have strict guidelines. The teacher put on remediation must have time to prove that he or she is doing the stuff required to fix their messes. It must go through human resources and the teacher who is in trouble may get the union involved as well. It is a confidential process and cannot be shared with other staff members or concerned parents. The principal probably knows the teacher is of poor quality, and it is their choice whether or not to put them on remediation. The school board is really not involved until the teacher "fails" the remediation plan and the principal and human resources are trying to decide where to place him/her. Unfortunately, the remediation plan is a big deal and a lot of work and most principals would rather just keep the teacher around than deal with it.

Can I get my teacher fired?

Possibly, but make sure you’re in the right before you try to do anything.I got an email from a parent during Winter Break. Her son told her that he was failing my class because I had other students grade his big paper, they didn’t like him, so they failed him. She was, needless to say, pretty angry. He wasn’t lying, but he wasn’t telling the truth either. He doesn’t always get what’s going on. I have students proofread each other’s papers before they submit a final draft to me. The two young ladies who looked his paper over thought it was awful. In fact, it was awful. He submitted it with some perfunctory changes, resulting in a really low grade. He isn’t a vindictive kid. He just doesn’t get how things work.So your science teacher talks about hand warmers, burning compost, and Angry Birds? I’m curious as to what he was saying. Was he talking about exothermic v. endothermic reactions or insulation? As far as Angry Birds, was he talking about force, inertia, and entropy? My students could very easily accuse me of only talking about The Walking Dead, Disney movies, and making hamburgers. I do mention them a lot. The Walking Dead is great for illustrating conflict, Disney is great for all kinds of topics relating to plot, character, setting, etc. Hamburgers… I just love them. I also talk about them in relation to how a paragraph is put together.Even if he isn’t doing some fancy analogies, you have to wonder if maybe you’re launching your nukes a bit early. Maybe he’s just a bit discombobulated. Have you talked to your parents about it? An administrator? Your counselor? So what can you do to get your teacher fired? I would suggest that the steps I listed above are likely to get you your dream goal of firing some guy who likely isn’t trying to hurt you but maybe isn’t reaching you. Tell your parents, administrator, or counselor.

What can I do if a teacher is trying to get involved in my personal life and asked me could she come to a sporting event im in outside school which has nothing to do with her? Her reason was that she wanted to watch me?

You could just ask her why she wants to do that? Put the onus on her to explain her reasons. You shouldn’t have to try to figure out what her motive is. You haven’t mentioned if you’re male or female (though I doubt it matters?) or how old you are? Generally though, if you’re getting a feeling of inappropriate behavior on her part, you might mention it to your parents. They can help to set her on a better path and can suggest to her that it might be better if she confined her attention to teaching the curriculum rather than to being your ‘pal’. Trust your instincts. If something doesn’t feel right, it likely isn’t… report it to the guidance officer at your school, to a teacher you are comfortable with, or to the principal.

What do I do when my teacher tried to kiss me?

I think you need to tell your parents. How old are you? And what kind of kiss was this? Most teachers are very careful about physical contact with students….usually nothing more than a hand shake or incidental contact while handing a student paperwork or an object. Why? Because they are afraid of losing their jobs and being accused of sexual misconduct with a student. The later is a career destroyer! So….you ask this question. If this really happened, it would be inappropriate. It is absolutely critical that you tell the truth about this incident. It is a very serious thing.
