What Do You Feel Israelis On The Destruction Of Lebanese Air Line

Why didn't Israel use F-35 to destroy Syria's air defense?

Modern military forces have a long list of tasks that need to be completed before a weapon system is considered "operational". Let me give you a much simpler example. If an army decided to buy a new pistol, except for extreme circumstances, it would take many months to years to prepare it for use. Enough spare parts, ammunition, maintenance equipment, operational procedures, maintenance procedures at all levels of service and doctinal employment would need to be set up. Then you have to train the trainers and finally the actual shooters. Now that's just a pistol. Imagine the increase in complexity for a fighter jet! Also the IAF has other platforms that were capable of performing the mission. Just because a jet was shot down doesn't mean mission failure. I think we've become so accustomed to not losing jets that we forget, they enemy gets a vote on the 2 way shooting range.

At what cost – Israel was established?

-Many thousands were killed in the process.
-Millions of indigenous people were made refugees.
-Hundreds of thousands of hectares of farmland, olive plantations, towns and villages were destroyed

This tragedy is not exclusive to the time of establishment; unfortunately it has been ongoing for sixty years now.

Can Israel overcome the Russian S-300 missiles?

Short answer: YesFirst you have to realize that Israel wrote the book on suppression of enemy air defenses (SEAD).For example, on 9 June 1982, the Israeli Air Force destroyed twenty-nine surface to air (SAM) missile batteries in Lebanon while shooting down over 100 Syrian fighters. The Israelis didn’t lose a single aircraft in the engagement. Also, the S-300 is actually several systems with the P-series (NATO SA-20 series) designed for use against missiles and aircraft and the VM-series (NATO SA-12) which is designed more for ballistic missile interception. The F-series (NATO SA-N-6/ SA-N-20) is the naval version of the system.(copied from Wikipedia S-300 missile system)The Russians already have S-300V4’s deployed to Syria to protect installations they consider important to them. The big advantage this system has over the existing air defense systems the Syrians use is the networking capability. The system uses two different missiles depending on the target. The 48N6E2 missile is optimized for ballistic missiles. It has a range of 195 km (121 mi).The 9M96E2 is a active radar guided missile that is very maneuverable for use against aircraft. This last missile is also used by the S-400 system. It has a range of 120 km (75 mi).The battery is centrally controlled with a search radar, 64N6 “Big Bird” radar which can detect aircraft out to 322 km(200 mi). This can cue the shorter ranged radar, 30N6 “Flap Lid” engagement radar to generate a target lock. The missiles can be launched at three second intervals, with up to six missiles in the air at one time. The targeting data can be networked with other sensors or batteries to optimize targeting and degrade any jamming by the targeted aircraft. However, it is not an invincible system. A combination of jamming, long range weapons can degrade and/or suppress their effectiveness. Current 4th generation aircraft would have to operate further away than 5th generation would have to. This is part of the reason for Israel to acquire the F-35 aircraft.

Why Israel easily won in war with Arab countries but could not defeat small Hezbollah?

all the Hezbollah are not more than 4000 persons.

in Israel/Arabs war Israel defeated military of many Arab countries even before they start moving and destroyed all of their fighter airplanes before flight on air port.

but they could not win the 34 day war.

please look pics of high tech Merkawa tanks destroyed by Hizbollah.

do you believe in this part of verse of Quran:

كَم مِّن فِئَةٍ قَلِيلَةٍ غَلَبَتْ فِئَةً كَثِيرَةً بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ وَاللَّهُ مَعَ الصَّابِرِينَ ﴿البقرة: ٢٤٩﴾
... "How many a small company has overcome a large company by permission of Allah. And Allah is with the patient." [2:249]

And when Saul went forth with the soldiers, he said, "Indeed, Allah will be testing you with a river. So whoever drinks from it is not of me, and whoever does not taste it is indeed of me, excepting one who takes [from it] in the hollow of his hand." But they drank from it, except a [very] few of them. Then when he had crossed it along with those who believed with him, they said, "There is no power for us today against Goliath and his soldiers." But those who were certain that they would meet Allah said, "How many a small company has overcome a large company by permission of Allah. And Allah is with the patient." [2:249]

why this verse (rule of God) did not applied to Arab Muslim countries in Israel/Arabs war?

why? why? why?

why God did not help them?

God helps to true Muslims or who claim to be Muslim and consider any non-Wahhabi Mushrik?

Why is Syria or Russia not using S300s against Israeli bombing raids? Or are they using them but they don't work as they should?

It looks like the IDF’s planes are using Lebanon’s air space and the airspace used by civilian planes to launch cruise missiles, some of which are reported as destroyed. Unless Russia is willing to upgrade Lebanon’s air defenses, there is probably not a lot that they can do. I don’t think the S-300 is the best option against those cruise missiles anyway (I could be wrong).excerpt from Wapo article, url after:Israeli airstrikes near the Syrian capital overnight endangered two civilian flights trying to land at the Damascus and Beirut airports, Russia’s Defense Ministry said Wednesday. The strikes, which Israel has not confirmed, targeted an arms depot west of Damascus late Tuesday and injured three soldiers, Syrian state media reported. A Britain-based war monitor said strikes also hit a weapons storage facility controlled by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, which has backed the Syrian government in its efforts to retake territory from rebels. The Syrian military “did not fully employ” its air defense system so as to “guide [the] civilian aircraft” out of danger, the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement carried by the Interfax news agency. It said Syria’s air defense batteries intercepted 14 of 16 Israeli guided missiles. The statement is Russia’s latest rebuke of Israel over its repeated air raids in Syria, after a Russian military plane was accidentally downed by Syrian antiaircraft fire targeting Israeli fighter jets in September. At least 11 Russian military personnel were killed in the crash.https://www.washingtonpost.com/w...

Who would win a war between Egypt and Israel?

Well, let's first look at what each side brings to the table:Ground Forces:Israel: 600,000 troops, 2,000 tanks.Egypt: 1.2 million troops, 4,000 tanks.Egypt certainly has a size advantage, however, Israel does have technological advantage. Both sides are also well trained, so this is a difficult one. I would have to say neither side has an edge in this field.Navy:Egypt: 11 frigates, 2 corvettes, 8 submarines, 174 CDC, 23 MW.Israel: 3 corvettes, 6 submarines, 46 CDC.Egypt easily spearheads this comparison, or at least, at first glance. You have to understand, Egypt controls a much larger coastline than Israel, so of course they will have a bigger navy. But if they decided to attack Israeli coastlines, they would struggle as they will only be able to send a small amount of their fleet (unless they want to leave their shores naked to attack). So, neither side has an edge in this department either.Air Force:Egypt: 400 fighter jets.Israel: 240 fighter jets.Technologically, Israel holds an advantage, but Egypt holds a size advantage. However, the IAF is far better trained, so I am sure that the IAF holds an advantage here.Budget:Israel: 15 billion USDEgypt: 5 billion USDIsrael wins this comparison as well.Nuclear weapons:Israel: 80 warheadsEgypt: 0 warheadsIsrael crushes Egypt in this category. In a short war, I have no doubt Egypt can handle Israel due to it's considerable size advantage. But if things dragged on, the Egyptian Air Force would find itself unable to keep up with their Israeli counterparts, and then things would turn bad for Egypt, maybe even a potential Israeli occupation of the Sinai. And I’m not even mentioning how much support Israel would get from the US.
