How much do you love you father?

Dads may not like to show much emotion, but they love their kids just as much as moms. If you want to show your dad how much you love himAsk him anythingDads love to be needed and to be seen as wise or important. Asking your dad anything (about the weather, his job, how to tie a knot, whatever) will validate him and demonstrate your respect for him.Remember his birthdayDads go throughout their lives either assiduously remembering special dates or being mocked for not doing so. What goes unsaid is how often dads’ special days go unremembered. Make a point to remember his birthday.Remember your mom’s birthdayWhen you remember your mom’s birthday, too, you show love and appreciation for your dad.Make the timeYour dad is busy. So are you. When your dad wants to make time for you, do your best to accommodate his schedule. Don’t forget, most of us will spend the last 20 to 30 years without our fathers around. Make use of the time you have with him.Respect traditionWhenever you repeat family traditions that your father taught you, you show your dad you appreciate what he did to raise and care for you. Whether this is a Sunday dinner, summer vacation or holiday tradition, carry on the good things your dad did for you.Forgive himMost people can point to something their fathers did wrong. That doesn’t make your dad a bad guy; it makes him human. Get over it. Forgive him. Remember that you’ve done plenty for which you need to be forgiven, too.Call himOnce in a while, call your dad out of the blue just to talk. The older you are, the more this will be appreciated.Continue old pastimesIf you and your dad went fishing, golfing or played tennis together when you were younger, do it again. Make a point to get together regularly to have fun together.Care for himAs your dad gets older, he will likely need more help from you. Be prepared to care for him, to help him around the house, to do whatever needs to be done that he can’t do.Share with himBe sure to share with your dad what’s going on in your life. Whether you tell him or not, he’ll be worried about you. Give him the facts so he’ll worry less.Get alongWork not only to get along well with your dad, but also try to get along well with your mom and your siblings. Dads like to see everyone happy. You may not get to choose your relatives, but you can choose to be kind to them.

What should I do to make this Father's Day special?

Give him a hug,1. Eliminate the pressure. What Dad wants most is to have a day free from any pressure. Even the pressure of having a "perfect day." Dad would really appreciate no deadlines, no hassles, no chores, no having to fix anything, and no rushing about on this special day. Let him really relax so he can enjoy his second wish...2. Spend time together. Enjoying each other's company as a family in relative harmony seems simple. But it's so easy to get sidetracked from your time together when you get caught up in cooking, taking a quick run to the store, or the temptation to finish up a project. Get away from the house if you must, but take this day to focus on spending time together as a family. Go for a walk, have a picnic, lie in a hammock together, share stories and dreams together. Now that's a day Dad will really remember!

What is the perfect gift for a deadbeat dad on fathers day serious replies only please?

'perfect' parents?

I became a Mum at 19

i have never left my child on his own to go out for a meal with my boyfriend, if we were to go out i would leave him with people i trust like my parents or my boyfriends parents! we just wouldnt think oh there is no body to look after him, lets tuck him up in bed and sneak out.

Our child is the most important person to us, we love him so much and we would rather sit down and play with him than go out for a meal or cinemas! we can recreate it at home!

It is the responsibility of a parent to keep their child safe - its not being perfect its just common sense!

We have people accross the road from us who used to leave their children when they were small and go out drinking, these are the kind of people i relate the McCanns to, it seems to them that going out and having a meal without the children, was more important to them than going out as a family. now they are without their precious daughter and yes they must be going through absolute hell, but common sense must tell you that you dont leave your children alone, in a foreign country, in what they thought was a "safe" resort as tehy have said in interviews. No amount of defending them will change the fact that they selfishly left their 3 children to go out and have a good time! no where is safe!

What are your plans for Father's Day?

Making a YouTube video was always in my mind, so I thought why not start with father. I wrote some lines for father that came to my heart. I made a video of my poetry and uploaded on YouTube. It's a tribute to not only my father, but all the father in this world. No one can imagine all the hardships they have faced to make us stand on our feet. Two lines of my poetry :Itni himmat, itni taakat kahan se jutate hoHmari khushi ke liye khud ko bech do, ye dariya dili kahan se laate hoTranslation :Where do you get so much strength, so much powerWhere do you bring this generosity that for our happiness you are even ready to sacrifice yourselfWatch my full video and share with your father. My father liked it. :)Follow me on Instagram - Manpreet Raj (@manpreet.raj.9) • Instagram photos and videosFollow my blog on Instagram - Creative Diaries (@creativediaries29) • Instagram photos and videos

What would be a good fathers day gift?

Make a gift basket out of a fishing hat, fill it with swedish fish, gummy worms, a fishing movie like A River Runs Through It, other fishing things.

OR

A Car Wash gift basket made out of a new bucket, filled with a nice sponge, chamois cloths, car wash soap or wax, some race car shaped gummy candy, maybe a car movie that you find in the 5 dollar bin at walmart.

You can go a long way with some cute things assembled together in a themed basket, made out of something that's not really a basket! Baseball hats work too.
