What Do You Like Reading Online

Do you like reading...?

Love to read! I mostly read either Christian fiction, or just plain fun girly like fiction from the young adult section.
Most my favorite books are by one author, Lori Wick. She;s awesome. My favs are "The Princess" and "Bamboo and Lace." I'll give you a list of some of my favorite authors.
-Lori Wick (romance/historical)
-Lori Copeland (rom./hist.)
-Janice Thompson (I actually just started her stuff today. Read a whole book and am in the second one. Hilarious, I've been laughing all day. Series called "Weddings by Bella")
-Dee Henderson (great mystery/suspence)
-Julie Klassen (rom./hist/)
-MaryLu Tyndall (rom/hist, favorites. Lots of stuff about pirates and stuff!)
-Carol Umberger (r/h, medieval Scottish series, Robert the Bruce, great fun)
-Kelly Eileen Hake (rom./comedy)
-Cathy Marie Hake (also rom./com. Not sure if History like...)
-Robin Jones Gunn (romance, great books. Both adult and teen. I love her)
-Laraine Snelling (rom/hist)
-Tracie Peters
-Irene Hannon (like Dee Henderson, great mystery and suspence mixed in with love and romance. Great read)
-Amanda Cabot (rom/hist)

Some teens author or books:

-Kate Bryan (fun girly books)
-Meg Cabot (also girly)
-Mark Walden (I've read a brilliant series called H.I.V.E by him. About a school for supervillians. Great fun!)
~The Knightley Academy series by Violet Habberdasher. Fun series
~Reunited by Hilary Weisman Graham.(I just finished it Saturday night at 1:45 am, it was a really good book. It made me laugh a lot. It was fun.)
Well, I guess that's enough of a list for now... haha. I'm sure you've heard of the Hunger Games series, right? I liked that one, it was good. Have fun reading. :)

Do you like reading books online?

The last few years have seen me increasingly aware of the vast damage that we (mankind) have inflicted upon our planet Earth in the course of our adopted lifestyle. For this reason, even though I have a list of reasons that make me more comfortable with the old fashioned paper book, I am growing to detest the fact that I have that list....because they are paper!!! I ask myself now; how many forrests have we turned into books? It must be a lot.

I find that my ability to do the "right thing" is strengthened when the "wrong thing" is not available...and so I would welcome the introduction of a situation where e-books were the only option! Computers have made this a viable option and I feel that we have reached a point where we should avail ourselves of it. In my mind there is no way to deny that when it comes down to it, as far as nature is concerned....books kill!

Perhaps making them from "grass" as was the practice in ancient days with "papyrus" would be acceptable, and it seems obvious that this is where the word "paper" comes from anyhow. In which case we are lying to ourselves when we call our tomes "paper backs"...they are actually "tree backs". Get rid of the practice of chopping down trees, pulping them and turning them to books...and I will read the alternative. Gladly!!!

Does any one like anime and reading? What do you think about this is it good?

I wanna make a Anime episode Its About The girl Akarui Tsuki Finding out shes magical. She's the Moon. She goes out to the Amusement park and finds this Beautiful place called Hikari Ajito = Light Hideout
This guy sights her and suspects that shes the Moon Light so he drugs somehow and takes her to Hikari Ajito and tries to convince her but fails. She leaves and the next day she has these Fox effects. Shes always in the mood to eat meat. (shes not vegetarian btw) Then once she grew ears (this may start sounding like Tokyo Mew Mew but its not) and a bushy tail and her forehead glowed a cresent moon. She ran to the Hikari Ajito and asked for explainations and finally was convinced the enemies are called Shodati (weird huh) So they gave her a Cresent Moon locket and She transformed and was Surprised. The guys who convinced her were Tarao Ryuu and Shou Yuuga.
But during the story Akarui Tsuki meets new members. Mitsuko (which is Sun) and Budoo Hoshi which is Star. I mean this sounds like the Galaxy but i dont want the title with Galaxy. It takes place in Tokyo, Japan :D Akarui Tsuki's helper Tarao (is in Highschool and has a secret but Loves Akarui, but she likes someone else.) I know this isn't a place to tell strories but please tell me a good story OH and tell me if you like it!!! Thanks

What do YOU like reading about?

It doesn't matter what I want to read. If you do a proper job of writing the story, you'll spend far longer with the characters and the plot than any reader. The odds of success are low, so it had better be something you like, and something you can enjoy doing for its own sake.

Plus which, if you need to ask this sort of question, you're a long way from being able to write something marketable, because more experienced writers know this already. In the time it takes you to learn how to write something people will want to read, the market will move on. So if the main selling point of your story is that it's similar to something that was wildly popular ten years ago, not many people are going to want to read it.

EDIT: "Sell" normally implies wanting to make money... You appear to have the right attitude already, so why change it?

Do you like reading on kindle?

I love reading books.

I love reading on my Kindle.

Each has their advantages, but the Kindle makes getting books, reading them and searching for them much easier. I can borrow books from my library without driving down there. I can read sample pages from books before buying to see if I like the writing style. And I can look up any unfamiliar terms, automatically, with the built-in dictionary. If I'm tired, I can even turn on the speech-to-text feature. When something in the story (I'm a fan of historical novels, among other books) fascinates me, I can go online and do some immediate research.

I love my books. They line my many shelves and bring fond memories and much pleasure. But when I travel, it's the Kindle I now bring along.

By the way, I also have vinyl records, but I love my iPod. The Kindle (and other ebook readers) are the iPods of reading.

Are e-readers killing books? Maybe. Are online stores closing down brick 'n mortar stores? Looks like it. Does TV and video and dvd and tivo hurt movie theaters? Just like movie theaters hurt live theater.

By the way, you can't have e-ink for your laptop, but you CAN read Kindle books on it, as I do.

What do you like to buy online?

My all-time favourite store at the moment is a funky relatively new online shop called FREECULTR. You may have seen this online store advertised online but you never really paid attention to it. I suggest you to check it out, it is truly amazing. Their products are affordable, they have excellent postage time/free postage and their collection is just too good. I love FREECULTR and since recently discovering it my wardrobe has grown significantly. I would recommend this store to everyone. To know more about this store, visit its Facebook page.
