Can True love be found online?

i've known the guy i've fallen in love with ONLINE for over two and a half years, due to his job and my being in school (college) we've never been able to meet up. Well that and his ex-girlfriend keeps stalking him, she and her friends will kidnap him for a week at a time and starve him in an attempt to get him to go back to dating the ex. he's asked me to marry him... even though we've never met. The cops have been involved, but she bullshits her way out of things very easily, she should be a paid actress because she acts the victim every time. He's even taken her to court for harrassment, she had to pay him so much for what she'd done, but CONTINUES to do it. I'm scared that I stupidly gave my heart to him because of everything we've been through together. Is it real?

What do you guys think about falling in love online?

Love does not abide solely in the physical world, nor does it "choose" where it is found. Love simply exists long before it is found by the lovers.
Love is in itself and of itself unquestioning nor does it choose a meeting place. It simply IS. It is a partnering off of people at the heart and soul that cannot be undone even in a lifetime, even in all eternity.
It cannot be told "you will not survive here" nor "You will die if you live under this distance or that circumstance. It simply IS, wether people believe in it or not. And often, people will only believe once it happens to them.
You cannot go looking for love and find it - if you do, you are "lucky". Love IS already, and it will find you when the time is right, even if you think it's timing is wrong.
It will find you wherever you are, online, offline, shopping, sitting with friends.
I know love online is not only possible but can be more intense than "normal" love, because there is no need to pretend or hide - you can just be honest, and if you are, you fall in love deeply, with the real person, not the social mirage.
Yes, you can fall in love online. In fact, I am starting to find that people who fall in love online stay in love.. when its love. Infatuation happens everywhere, but love that is found online will prove itself real because it overcomes obstacles of distance, every day. And if you meet, super. Then you are able to take it to the next level. And it is more intense than anything you'll ever know, because you loved the person INSIDE first.
I met the man I love online. I will always love him, and I believe likewise he will never sever his heart from mine. Cynics will be found everywhere, and often they are the ones without experiencial backing to their assumptions.
Love is out there, and if you are ready to give 150% of yourself, it will find you, and reward you with 300% back.

Can you really fall in love online?

I met this guy online and he asked me out, I said sure thinking maybe this is just a joke or something, so we talked about random things. He told me he was going to his friends place to hang out and I said ok but then he said he doesn't want to and stayed online and talked to me again. Before he had to go he said "Bye, I love you" and I said I love you back because I thought it was all an act or something. I wasn't so sure if it's possible to fall in love online. lol

Can you love someone you only know from online?

I mean if you chat and email someone you have never met can you eventually fall in love with that person or is it just convincing yourself you are in love? What if you talk on the phone with them too? Thanks

I think I'm falling in love with my online friend...?

I think this is sweet. I'm a gamer (aka nerd) myself, but I mainly do FPS on consoles. It's every hardcore gamer's dream to meet a good looking girl that plays games like them. I love playing with girls online because you rarely (if ever) meet girls like that in person. It helps knowing they are attractive too.

As much as you would love to meet the other person, I always remind myself that there are probably 1000s of guys just like me actually living in her area that would love to have her.

It would be neat if somehow you arranged a meeting with him. This would be a HUGE event, but it may be worthwhile (possibly life-changing if you allow).

Let me know what you decide to do. My advice would be to not pursue it (but that's coming from a guy's perspective...it's different since you're a girl interested in doing this), but then again I'm all for the fairy tale ending. I'm sure he would be too, especially since you're down for it.

What's the worst that could happen if you bought a round trip plane ticket for a weekend to meet him? If you were just completely turned off by him after the initial meeting, then you can just go hang out in the nearest city (shop, do tourist stuff, etc). It's EASY to find a guy that plays video games IMO. It's practically impossible to find a single,attractive girl gamer.

I feel like i'm in love with my girl friend but she lives in Nevada and i live in Massachusetts we always talk to eachother EVERYTIME and i can not go 2 seconds without thinking about her,I brag about her toall my friends saying shes the best girl in the world and so on for some odd reason she just cant leave my mind no matter what i do I mean I'd ditch my friends and stay inside just to talk to her and hear her voice again we say we love eachother and she says she thinks about me ALOT and I know she isnt lieing,I mean I know we both say we loves eachother and everything we do alot of things when we talk together we'll talk about what happening in eachothers days not even leaving out the smallest details and we NEVER hide secrets from eachother.........can this still be true love or am I just living some really stupid and pointless dream?
