What Do You Prefer Red Salsa Or Green Salsa

Is there oil in salsa, like green or red sauce?

Salsa is not the same as hot sauce.

Salsa is just chopped up tomatoes, onions, chili's, and cilantro. Sometimes it's pureed a bit to give a smoother texture (picante sauce) but that's it. No oil.

Your co-worker may be confused because there's also "chili-oil". However, this is made by steeping chopped up red chilis in corn oil, then straining. The resulting oil will have the taste and heat of the chilis. This is used as an ingredient or as a topping. Hot sauce in general doesn't contain any oil either - not even chili oil.

Do you prefer red or green chile?

To eat raw, whole, diced or crushed, over cooked food (pizza, pasta, etc) red/orange/yellow chilies are mostly preferred, because they are generally more spicy/matured and their flavor resembles less that of green bell peppers. To eat raw in fresh salad dishes green, magenta and black (generally un-matured) chili-peppers can blend themselves greatly.I personally find green chili-pepper’s extra-fruity vegetable-like flavor overwhelming, and I think their flavors cover everything, so I never eat them whole (only diced or crushed). On the contrary, tiny red bhut jolokias or carolina reapers feel great! In sauces, sautees, stews or soups all kinds are great!!!PS: TBH, I sometimes when totally undecided, mix a tutti-frutti chili-hell and create a chili-rainbow-dish! (red, green, yellow, orange, magenta, white, brown and black!)Believe me its great!

What are the primary differences between red and green salsa?

The primary difference is the color (haha) but after that difference is important to understand there is a lot of ways to create a salsa I will show you four differents salsa serve in the same place:Like you can see there is two green and two red salsas, but each one is diferent. The first one at the left the more greener this one ave some avocado and is more dense, the second one is basically tomato and some chile, the third is a mix of tomate and chile and the salsa is fried, the last one at the right is basically chile, a chile name chile seco (xalapeño but with another process) the last one is the more spicy and picante. So to add another difference that change at least here in mexico is, in some places the green is more hot and in another region the red.The last information, there is salsa in the middles of the both colors and is hard to say if it is green or red.

Which do you prefer, salsa or guacamole?

Guacamole … with a proviso.Salsa is such an overused word to describe tepid, “yech” salsa that is served in thousands of so-called “Mexican” or “TexMex” restaurants throughout the US and, sadly, Europe.99% of the Quorans (both questioners and answerers) wouldn’t know true salsa if it fell on them (my Norteno friends excepted).Try googling true and authentic TexMex salsas (or even Mexican) to taste true salsa.I remember the old Pace Picante Sauce commercialsGuac is, at least, true to the brand.

Do you prefer red or white sauce on your pizza?

Red

Do you like salsa?

What's not to like! Salsa's come in so many varieties and with an inordinate amount of distinct ingredients, tailored to work with any food, or only a specific dish. I would call salsa a universal condiment, to be used as an enhancement to whatever food you wish for it to compliment. If you think salsa is just a tomato based dish, you need to greatly expand your selection and consumption of food!

What do you prefer - eating salsa or dancing it?

Do both at the same time.

Have you ever encountered 'salsa snobbery'?

ABSOLUTELY. I've been salsa dancing for 10 years. I don't look like I'm very good but I can tear up the dance floor when I need to. I get rejected by girls all the time because they don't think I'm that good, or I catch them at a bad time, or they don't know how to dance.Don't let that get to you. Just think to yourself that they're missing out on dancing with such an awesome person such as yourself and move on to the next person.
