I've no doubts in my mind. The libs in this country want the government in every aspect of our lives. No individual rights as described by the Founding Fathers of this country. Little by little, they are chipping away at the very fabric of what made this nation, at one time, strong. Lawyers and special interest groups are hurting this country to the point of being irrepairable. We now have judges on the bench who are dictating laws, rather than interpreting them as the Constitution requires them to. The libs are trying to take away individual rights to own and possess a firearm. The Founding Fathers knew that if the government went amok, that the individual armed citizen could still restore this country to it's originally intended design, by force if needed. And they realized that a person has a right to self-protection. At the rate we are going, we will truly end up socialist "peasants" of this government. The government will dictate to us what we can, or cannot do. And we will be powerless to change it, unless we stand against it now.

Because if the labor force is replaced with automation and computerization, and you do not adjust to divide the remaining labor demand across the increased labor force, then you wind up with 150 year old labor policy in a modern civilized society...AKA the mess the world is facing now. You can be an extreme what ever you want. But the modern labor paradigm is going to require labor reform no matter how much politicians are loathed to deal with the issue. People have machines, robots, and computers that do work that humans traditionally did a 150-100 years ago...those jobs are never coming back. Eventually this supplanting of human labor will result in a necessary policy reform. This is just a fact that can only be delayed for so long. Since you are so extreme I assume you have read the wealth of nations by Adam Smith. Within the first few paragraphs...could you remind me...where does Smith say that a nations wealth comes from? I think he says it is labor...but you know I am sure you would know better...being an extremist and all. I think you are probably just a Rand regurgitator. But objectivism is objectively invalid empirically (see cognitive bias) and can only exist in works of fiction as a result. Then your claims about being a capitalist have neglected pertinent discourse, what kind of capitalists does not bother to read the likes of Smith? Common misconception among the uneducated, they think that their opinions are original. Usually those opinions are not original, and others have discussed them better and articulated them more clearly than yourself, no shame in that, just it is usually true. If you do not understand where the term capitalism comes from, and how the term is used in an economic and political context, then what makes you think you are even using the term correctly?

However, the blurring of definitions and promotion of division based on stereotype is rather typical and encouraged in bipartisan politics. Hence, the Democrats are all considered socialist or communist liberals as opposed to classical liberals, and unfortunately the socialist type seems to be the majority of what that party consists of. And the Republicans are neo-cons, religious right, or evil capitalists (imperialist, oligarchist, etc.) as opposed to the plain old traditional conservative, but again it unfortunately seems like the majority of the party consists of the neo-con/RINO types. If the Democratic party still held to the ideals of Jefferson's Democratic-Republican party it might actually be worth something, but it has been quite the opposite of that for a long time. Likewise if the Republican party still held to it roots, it might actually be worth something. However they are both currently, for the most part, the same statist representation with a different name.

It always has been and always will be. Their party was ill named as Democrats. The same things that Democrats run on are the ones that Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, and many others have used. They find the poor and needy and appeal to them. Obama is seen as a great orator and very charismatic. So were Hitler and Stalin. The only reason Hitler and Stalin were able to win in their elections was because they offered change and prosperity to the people in their countries as they were going through the Great Depression. Obama and Clinton both see their chance to take control of the United States to enact their socialist agendas. This chance is the recession created by stupid credit purchases that could not be paid back, and higer tax rates caused by a DEMOCRATIC congress.

One must refuse their frame, because the frame is always wrong and fundamentally dishonest and concocted in right wing brainwashing laboratories. You see the problem with this question is the questioner assumes that Antifa is a major part of liberalism and that they represent the mainstream. The socialists and liberals were on the left, the traditionalists and monarchists were on the right. And in those days, liberal, meant those who wanted the smallest possible state, and socialist meant those who favored the working class. In the revolution of 1848, it went from an anarchist (left) to several absolute monarchists (right). So you could say that less state power is a left-wing idea and more state power is a right-wing idea. There is a close ideological connection between absolute monarchy (the archetypal right-wing position), fascism, and authoritarianism in general. And there is the same connection with present-day groups pushing for dictatorial power, political espionage, union-busting, massacres of dissidents and foreigners, genocidal warfare, etc. Republicans are NOT for less government.
