What Do You Think About Argentina And Brazil

Where should I go and why, Brazil or Argentina?

If you love nature and beaches, you should go to Brazil. If you are looking for tango and wine, go to Argentina. Also, consider how long your trip is. Brazil is huge and you could easily spend 3 months traveling within and still not have enough time to see it all.But I must say: if you think this might be the one and only time you’ll be going to South America and you must decide, then there is no doubt you have to go to Brazil.Rio de Janeiro is, on my opinion, the most beautiful city in the world. If you go the north or the northeast, you can visit small fishing villages that people are the happiest just for being on the beach - they couldn’t care less on whats happening with the rest of the world and might not know who Donald Trump even is. Look up Porto de Galinhas, Praia dos Carneiros, Canoa Quebrada. You can also visit European looking cities in the South, like Gramado and the Serra Gaúcha route. You can go to amazing in-land natural parks for hikes, waterfalls and amazing canyons: lookup Chapada Diamantina, Chapada dos Veadeiros and Bonito.Sao Paulo is a massive business metropolis, but also one of the best cities in the world for gastronomy and nightlife.Sorry, I wanted to be fair at the beginning, but the fact is: Brazil is freaking amazing and nobody should ever spend a life without experiencing it. Ask any Argentinian: Brazil is actually their favorite vacationing spot :)

What do Brazilians think of Argentines?

I´ve been to Argentina twice in the past few years (first in San carlos de Bariloche and then Buenos Aires) and I can say Argentina and the Argentines are just great.Argentina is a gourgeous and interesting country. There are varied and beautiful landscapes such as lakes, mountains, pine forests, ski resorts, deserts, glaciers, deserts and so on.With regards to Bariloche, I found the town cozy, charming, clean and well organized. People were very nice and helpful.Buenos Aires is probably one of the most stunning cities I´ve ever visited. You just cant´believe you aren´t in Europe. There are magnificent buildings, parks, houses, gardens, squares everywhere.Besides the beauty of the city itself, it´s also rich in terms of history, art, culture and food. Speaking of food… it´s absolutelly delicious. They have outstanding pasta, wine, pastry, wine, chocolate and dulce de leche, of course.Something I found particularly interesting was the fact Argentines are very proud of their past and history, not to mention extremelly passionate about politics.Summing up, Argentines are a great people, well educated and have a strong sense of community. I also think they are very good looking and well groomed ( (apart from male haircuts, which look outdated).Because of soccer rivalry, Brazilians tend to mock Argentines as much as they can, by saying they live in the past and they are kind of snobich. However, among us, we admire a lot of their traits, like patriotism and their knowledge about their history, although we never admit it in front of them.I remember when I was a kid, going on trips along southern Brazilian shore, and encountering flocks of Argentines every now and then. It wouldn´t feel like vacation without them visiting us in the summer.Argentina is one of my favorite countries and I want to visit it soon again.I also hope our countries get closer because I believe we complement each other in many ways.

Brazil or Argentina which you prefer?

Brazil, i think brazilian woman and climate is much better than argentine.
Argentina is better in two aspects is richer and is safer. I would win a lot of money in argentina then go back to brazil asap.

Why do Argentina and Brazil hate each other?

Luis M. Gonzalez and Luiz Souza have pretty much given precise answers from each national perspective (funny enough, they have the same first name in both Spanish and Portuguese!). And yes, it’s mostly about football. From the Argentine side, however, I might add that, as long as the conscription system was enforced in Argentina (full conscription started from about 1945 and ended in 1995), most male Argentinians were indoctrinated to hate both Brazilians and Chileans, since the Armed Forces considered both countries to be the most likely enemies in any possible future war. Conversely, the supposed superiority of Argentina over the remaining South American nations was frequently extolled. The degree of such indoctrination might have varied, but the effect was felt by the whole society. On the whole, since the relations between both countries were never very close, except in the areas where the common frontier lies, and only a small portion of Argentina’s population ever travelled to Brazil, the typical Argentine’s image of Brazil has always been stereotypical and superficial. Before the 70’s it was commonly heard that Brazil was an underdeveloped country full ‘poor blacks’, during the 60’s and 70’s Brazil was considered to be a place of sexual liberation - today for most people it evocates white beaches and favelas. The lack of real interest in Brazil is illustrated by the local cable companies offering many international channels, but not, for example, O Globo. And then there’s the linguistic barrier: a shame, since Brazilian Portuguese ought to be taught in all Argentine schools according to our international treaties.

What do people think or know about Argentina?

People are completely clueless….My family and I are from Argentina. Buenos Aires and Rosario is where the majority of my extended family lives and I’ve visited probably 10+ times in my 25 years. I know quite a bit about the country. But aside from a few more educated outliers and better traveled people, these are the questions and comments I have heard:Where in Argentina is Venezuela located? They’re entirely different countries. Venezuela is actually the furthest country from Argentina in the entire continent. You’re from Argentina, so you speak Portuguese right?Nope, Brazil is the only South American country that speaks Portuguese. Yes, Brazil is a different country. See map above.I need a good recipe for beans and rice, do you think you can send me a family recipe?I get this one often. While Argentina is not foreign to beans and rice, we do not eat beans and/or rice typically. It’s not considered a staple food like it is in most South American countries and you will have a hard time finding it in restaurants. I love beans and rice, in the states it’s one of my favorite side dishes, but it’s practically nonexistent in Argentina unless you’re in very poor villages.Typical Argentine dish, usually served with a green salad or french fries. You must love spicy food! While I personally love spicy food, you won’t find a lick of spice in Argentine cuisine. Maybe some paprika and red chili flakes in a beef empanada, but that’s about it!Do they have movie theaters in Argentina?Of course they do, Argentina has world-renowned cinema and film productions of their own. They’re not a remote village in the Amazons. If you’re from Argentina then why are you white?Agggghhhhh! How much I wish I could punch people when they ask this. Argentina is comprised mostly of Spanish, Italian and German immigrants. You’re likely to see more white people than not.Typical Argentine girl.If you’re from Argentina, then why do you have green eyes?See above.Wait, so you’re Italian and from Argentina? How does that work?Wait, so you’re American but German? How does that work? Are you related to or know anyone involved in the drug cartels?Fuck off.Che Guevara must be your hero!Double fuck off.
