There is still a substantial downside risk -- and surgery is not something that can be easily undone.I like people with real, lived-in faces: As George Orwell put it, "At fifty, everyone has the face he deserves." Or, to take another tack, Hollywood actresses are ruthlessly homogenized; British actresses are quite varied in their appearance. And I'll take Anna Maxwell Martin, who would never win an American beauty pageant, over any number of Hollywood starlets.No one needs to look beautiful to be beautiful.Needless to say, this animadversion doesn't apply to reconstructive plastic surgery.Finally -- There is nothing, absolutely nothing, wrong with your lips. And even if there were: If you're a nice, intelligent, funny person, you are already beautiful -- even if you never do make the cover of Vogue.

What do guys think about botox or fillers?

Administered correctly and moderately, Botox and fillers can be great for people seeking a subtle way to improve wrinkles and loss of volume from age. Botox wears off in 3-4 months so even if the person didn't like the look, it's only temporary. The surgeon I work for administers Botox in a way that the patient still has movement and expression, just not as severe as before. It doesn't have to (and shouldn't) give you a "frozen" expression. That's just not natural. Dermal fillers predominantly consist of hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in the body, with the exception of Radiesse. Fillers can be tricky as hyaluronic acid is hydrophilic and can be puffy if over-injected (that's why you see so much bad filler in Hollywood). At our practice, we use hyaluronic acid fillers mostly in the lips because people want the "pillowy" look there. We use Radiesse for the cheek bones/ mid-face because it has a consistency that's similar to bone, building structure to accentuate the patient's natural facial features without looking over-done. Radiesse doesn't get puffy therefore it looks very natural, like the patient just has great bone structure. My advice, find board certified plastic surgeon or dermatologist who has a lot of experience with fillers.. When you go to their office, look closely at the staff working. If they look overdone, or like they can't move their face, you should probably leave. Just my humble opinion!
