What do tourists think of malaysia?

great place, fantastic nature, way better than Thailand (more honest and straightforward culture and not cheating tourists), not expensive, great food, very friendly people, LOTS!!! to see, very fun, very safe, and we simply LOVE Malaysia (myself, my mates, my associates, and everyone i ever talked to). I had amazing experience of Islam and Muslim people... trust me - I been around the Globe and seen so many Islamic countries... Malaysia is the BEST! really modern Islam, and people have very strong beliefs and it is so touching to see how religion can be dominating force in society without abusing it. Very unique mix of cultures.

How modern? I woke up one morning in Maya hotel and couldn't get it straigh after sleep looking in the window thougth I was in Chicago lol... with all these ultra-modern buildings!

Absolutely stunning shopping malls, great service, great prices, many trendy local fashion brands, World-class hotels, affordable transportation. Trendiest bars and restaurants, fun night clubs, plenty authentic souvenirs t take home. And what airline in the World can beat Air Asia by the cost of travel? It is affordable to visit even on a student budget.

The only slight downpoint are the banks- customer service is not there lol but as for a tourist is just a part of funny attract- back home in the UK we have same problem...seeing similarities is cool too lol

In fact it is soo good that many of us taking advantage of your scheme Malaysia My second Home... probably the most accepting and the most friendliest country in the region. I think this is the best answer about the country and it's people.
And by the way, English language... I never had any difficulty communicating- if someone does not understand they still are trying to help you to the maximum and never turn back at you just because they don't understand it.

Everyone who will say evil word- I remind you that every country has own problems and no place is perfect, so please don't fuss about it.

What do you think of Malaysia?

Like anywhere else, Malaysia will have it's share of good and bad. I live in the USA, and I have to say there are good and bad opinions formed.

Things I like about Malaysia are, it's geographic location, the food, the Chinese Malaysians.

Things I don't like about Malaysia, the Malay and Indian people, the way the government is running the country.

There are two other states in Malaysia that is not entirely affected by the federal government's law, which is the state os Sabah and Sarawak. I hear these locations are very nice.

Another issue about Malaysia is the fact that Malaysia is still a country whose democracy is at its infancy. Only time will tell if the country is actually moving forward or backwards and backwards will mean that right wing conservative muslims want the country run like the stone age.

What do British people think about Malaysia?

Most know it exists but know little else.I went there 2 years ago. I found it to be rather nice. I was expecting a much poorer, rougher place. It was particularly curious that in Malaysia British plugs are used. I've never seen those outside of the British Isles. It was also curious how many British products were sold in 7–11.Ah. 7–11. The sprawling car centric city with roads in the sky. The tall buildings. The place struck me as somewhat like a cross between the UK and Japan.I also liked the diversity. I liked that you had on the same street a traditional Chinese temple, a mosque and a hindu temple…. Or, more practically, on the same street authentic Chinese, Indian and Malaysian food.

What do tourists think of Malaysia?

Over the past 50 years, I have traveled to every one of the Malaysian states by various modes of transportation. Based on my own experience and feedback from overseas visitors, these are the highlights:Outstanding gastronomic experience. Malaysian cuisines span multiple cultures, namely, Malay, nyonya, Chinese and Indian. Brilliant use of spices like curry makes for memorable feasting. There's also a wide variety of delectable snacks and desserts.Accessibility. Most places are connected by good roads and choice of cheap transport.Ecotourism and snorkeling. The millions year old rainforests support an off the beaten track vacation. Around Malaysia are some of the world's best islands and coralreefs for diving enthusiasts. Mulu caves in East Malaysia are amongst the largest cavern system in the world. On a dry day you will be awed by the flight of thousands of bats covering the evening sky. Palau Langkawi, Pulau Tioman, and Pulau Pangkor offer enchanting beaches.Cultures. In addition to the food culture, the ethnic diversity provides a heady mix of history and cultural experience. Melaka is a UNESCO world heritage city for its 500+ years of colonial heritage. Penang is another world heritage city with a unique blend of British and Chinese architectures.People. Besides the Malay language, English, Chinese dialects are widely in use.Theme parks and night life. International theme parks include Legoland, 20th century fox movie theme park soon to be open at Genting highlands, Hello kitty, etc. Nightlife is quite vibrant in Kuala Lumpur and Penang. All in all, tourists will find Malaysia to be a charming and exotic vacation experience.

What do people of Israel think of Malaysia?

Truth is, we don’t think of Malaysia too often. SE Asia - and Malaysia in particular - are not a focal point for the average Israeli. Malaysia hardly gets any news coverage (other than during plane crashes) and almost no Israeli has ever visited there. Few Israelis even know that Malaysia is the only coutry whose passport explicably states no entry to Israel. Even fewer know about commercial ties between the countries.I think this is somewhat ignorant on our side- Malaysia is one of the most populated countries in the world and has a pivotal role in SE Asia commerce and politics. However, until Malaysia officials openly recognize Israel and work to establish warmer relations I don’t see this situation changing anytime soon. Israel on its part does not view Malaysia as an enemy and would gladly do business with it, as it does with the rest of the region. (BTW- should Malaysia decides to allow Israelis to visit, many people would gladly come. Our Passport does not forbid us entry to any nation)

When you heard Malaysia, what do you think about it ?

Impressive..Amazing... There are so many races that living in harmony together...Their achievements are also very great..Malaysia is one of the most fastest develops country in the world.
