What do you think of Miley Cyrus?
As her best friend "Leslie" says in Miley's hit "See You Again": She's just being Miley. All of her current songs point to it as well, she's doing what she wants. This is the way of our generation doing what they want and what makes them happy. She's based. I think people are more upset because they've seen her grow up as a cute little kid and see that this is what she chose for herself. She could've gone any direction but she chose this one and it's not the one people envisioned. I don't like all of her songs, I barely listen to her. But she is a talented artist who works hard. I don't think we have a right to bash her choices since they aren't worse(I think they're better) than the choice to become a Wall Street whore. What she's doing right now is incredible. She's putting herself out there to learn more and experience. I think overall this will help her musical exploration as she learns from different styles. I dislike electronic music a lot, but she's borrowed a ton from there. Right now she's been getting real comfortable with hip hop and rap. Her first transition there isn't great, but the first time I played drums I sucked terribly(still not really that good anyway). The most important part is that she's not defending what she's doing with excuses. She's just being Miley and she seems to be enjoying it. In contrast with Amanda Bynes who was constantly nagged, why aren't you acting anymore when she quit, and was brought down because she didn't want to act but people wanted her to because she was talented. That's a sad story of people pushing someone to the edge of desire until they fall off and lose it a little. That happens and we shouldn't judge it either. I hope Miley continues to be Miley, showing people not only her music but that we should try to be true to ourselves a little more.

I think Miley Cyrus has grown up a lot, and not just going from child star to adult entertainer (both in the sense that she’s an adult and in the sense that she has done adult-oriented performances), but she has matured and “settled down” now from even a few years ago, when she was most famous for her “twerking” moves.Also, while she was at the first peak of her popularity and considered a “child star” and “teen idol” during her Hannah Montana days, she is now considered an acting and singing legend who got her start at Disney around 2004–05.

miley cyrus...i think miley cyrus is like one of theeee coolest people in the world..i dont think she is a slut at all..i mean i dont understand what is up with people calling her that cus of some of the pictures..they are just stupid pictures..and i know alot of other 15 year old girls doin wayyyyyy worse stuff...compared to them..miley is an angel sent from heavan..i love miley and i think she is a great role model in the case of doing what u love and going for something with full effort..she is an ammmmaaazing singer..greatttt actress..and i think she will be verrrry succesfull....she wont end up like brittany spears. she isnt a slut..she's not a lesbian...and all this shitt people say..i mean serisouly...and maybe yea she is growing up a little tooo fast..but hey...it happens..and yes sometimes i think it can get the best of us..but she has a great family there for her..and she has and knows all the right morals..and i think everybody should just give the poor girl a break..how would u like it if u had someone everywhere u turned just waittttig for u to screw up? i mean seriously..i would break down..i think she is handling alll this maturely and she is doing a great job..i idolize her and look up to her..and hope to meet her someday and be as succesfully and hav little kids looking up to me like that...cus trust me i dont really know..but i can only imagine how hard it is to tryyy and be perfect...u can only try so hard...for so long. everybody makes mistakes (i know thats her song..but its true--not ment to be cheesy) but the girl is 15..so give her a freakin break once and a while..we all screw up...and so what ..the pictures werent even that bad..i like vanessa hudgens..but hell..look at those pictures compared to miley's..i mean seriously...so miley i love u and i will always look up to u no matter what u do or what people say..cus i know deep down inside u are a great person and have a lot of heart..cus a person like u has to..ur gorgeous, great person, and gorgeous.lol i know i already said tht...but she is like one of the pretttiest 15 year olds i hav ever seeen..but anyways..that is what i think of miley cyrus...:D
