Which Channel is more fair and balanced, Aljazeera or Fox News?
Al Jazeera has proven itself to be a trustworthy new source, especially when covering stories that other news sources don't find important. Fox, of course, is merely a propaganda machine, with little interest in actual facts.
Would you consider Al Jazeera to be a Right or Left Leaning News channel?
I download their podcast, it's pretty interesting because they report news from an outside perspective. Because of that, I think they aren't really right or left leaning, but in a political spectrum outside of what we Americans view.

al Jazeera English gives you the straight news and variety of news from the U.S. and the world. American news channels take one story and talk about nothing else for a week, ignoring everything else. RT is how all news should be. They have intelligent topical documentaries, interviews, and exposés. They have a broad range of news events. They had Julian Assange interviewing some very interesting people. RT was the only organization he would deal with. Since RT is run by the government there are no commercials. So you are not limited to the narrow American corporate viewpoint. For example, no American TV station reports what is going on in Kuwait or Bahrain since the U.S. has military there. All American media covers up what the U.S. does. but RT tells everything. The BBC in the U.S. is just as bad as the American news stations. The American news channels are superficial, they dont give any hard news, and when they interview someone, it is usually another reporter, not a prominent person, and they dont ask follow up questions. CNN is especially poor in this regard but MSNBC is worse in that they offer opinion journalism and talk incessantly about a single news story in every program. They dont seem to do investigative journalism like RT. Thats whats wrong with them. They accept whatever the politicians tell them. I like Current TV. I like Cenk Uygar on The Young Turks, Elliott Spitzer on Viewpoint and Jennifer Granholm in The War Room. I wish Current had a 24/7 news program.
Which do you prefer Press TV or Al Jazeera?
Lol.....little to choose between those Islamic propaganda perpetuators. Of the two at least aljazeera pretends to be a news channel. Press tv is Iranian anti western propaganda. So if the two...aljazeera although it is like choosing your favourite poison....arsenic or cyanide?
Is Al Jazeera the best news press available?
If you can get al Jazeera on satellite, yes, it is good. I get al Jazeera through a feed to a local PBS station from Link TV. I have cable so I cant get Link TV or al Jazeera English. If you can get it, Press TV from Iran is very moderate for an American audience. My favorite is RT (Russia Today) for international and American news, since they have studios in D.C. as well as London and Moscow. JOSEPH: The BBC in America is tailored for American audiences. That means no UK news and drivel. Only BBC Newsnight is good because they ask direct questions unlike American interviews which last a few minutes until the next commercial. The same goes for CNN in America. It is nothing like CNN International. American audiences cannot take criticism of their country and dont know much outside their borders. The one host on msnbc, The Young Turk, was booted off for being too and direct and too critical of the U.S.
