What Do You Think About This Picture I Drew

Can I see a picture you drew?

Here’s my very amateur sketching of a lion’s head:I sketched this following a Youtube tutorial created by a talented artist, since I myself had absolutely no idea where to start. It was my first try at this, so unsurprisingly, while still having ample room for improvement, it took me a ridiculously long time to finish across the timespan of two weeks, where I worked on it from 20 minutes to 2 hours each day. And the artist who made the tutorial only spent 3 hours on it…I’ve been obsessed with drawing animals, especially big cats, since I was little. My mother saw my interest in drawing and helped me sign up for a sketching class, so that I could learn to draw properly. Unfortunately, being the impatient and naive kid I was, I decided that I didn’t like sketching for all its rules and hard work after going to the class for around 2 months. My mother was very understanding, so she didn’t push me. Then days and years went by and middle school happened, and I drew less and less, you know how it is.And now I really hope that she did.Because when I picked it up last year I realized for the first time how long it had been since I last drew something with a pencil, how much I missed it, and that I didn’t have a clue where to begin. Then it hit me that if only I persisted in the class a little and kept going, I could at least be better at it, or even good at it. Then surely I’d be majoring in Art right now and learning what I genuinely enjoy instead of bending over a lab notebook worrying about how many significant figures I should keep for the volume of a test tube of water. And for the record, I don't care if it’s 9.88mL or 9.9mL! *sighing profusely & contemplating my life choices*If you are still here, thank you for making it this far and sorry for the rambling :) Good luck to you all!!

If I drew a picture of my ex with a halo on it, do you think she would like it?

Sure, if you make her look like she stepped out of People mag OR she’s really religious.Personally, I can’t imagine what goes on inside the brain of an adult who would REALLY want to do this. Are you 6 emotionally? Here’s a good idea for you. Get yourself a new girl and draw a picture of her instead. Halo, whatever - artist license. If she’s really into you, she’ll pretend to like it and you won’t end up with a drawing shoved up between your cheeks. If it’s too soon for another girl, go take a drawing class and get this out of your system. If you are a serious artist, send me the picture so I can keep it safe until you are famous.

Would a girl like it if I drew her a picture?

I am 16 years old and pretty shy when it comes to girls. I really like art and I'm pretty good at it. There is this girl I like and she also is in art class. She always likes my drawings that I draw in class. I don't talk to her that much but would it be weird to draw a beautiful picture and give it to her in class.

I drew a picture of my crush??!!?

I drew a picture of this girl i liked for so long. im 15 and so is she. im planning on asking her out soon. i found this picture of her on facebook one day and it inspired me to draw her because she is so beautiful. if i show her the picture i drew of her waht do you think she would think?

I draw pictures and I draw what I feel. Do you think someone would look at my pictures?

Do you like to look at your pictures? That's not a crazy question. In art school drawing class, we spent hours drawing the human figure but I found my drawings dull. OK, I was just learning but it wasn't until I changed my attitude about drawing and started drawing what I felt as much as what I saw that I could enjoy looking at my own work. If you like your own drawings, chances are someone else will as well. But don't expect everyone to like them. Art is very subjective and taste is both acquired (we tend to like what we know more about) and instinctive (there are certain inherited aspects to how the human eye and mind perceive beauty; for example, most people will prefer symmetrical features in a human face over asymmetry). It's important to keep working, keep drawing, and keep learning, regardless of how others look at your work.

I drew a picture that freaked out my mom. What should I do?

There's nothing wrong with drawing devils, demons, fiends, ghosts, zombies, imps, etc. A huge game industry is thriving on such images and employing thousands of talented artists. Your mom is probably uneducated/superstitious and has prejudice against fantasy art. You should stop showing such pictures to your mom but keep drawing what you want anyway.Just as a relevant anecdote, I did an exhibition once, and among other images this drawing was featured:You should have heard what my grandma (a very religious woman) told me after seeing this! "That's right! Now it explains everything! This is who is sitting inside you! This is who is making you draw! You should go to the church and be baptized at once, he's holding onto your soul!"...Well, everybody sees in art whatever they feel closer to, I suppose ;)However, I agree with others that you could explain that you were also surprised at how the picture turned out, and you think you need training or guidance so that you could achieve better results in drawing. Perhaps she'll buy you a nice instruction book?

Should I give my crush a picture I drew of her?

I think that's really cute! You could say it's a going away present or something if your too nervous. it's so sweet of you to do that any girl would love that! If she really likes that tell her how you feel that you'll miss her next year and you want to spend more time with her. It could develop a stronger friendship or even a romance.

Should I say, “she drew a picture of her dog” or “she has drawn a picture”?

As stated in previous answers both are correct. However, when the drawing took place is important. Edited answer thanks to Martin Oakes.Drew is the simple past tense, relatively recently.Has drawn is the Present Perfect, it describes an event that happened at an unspecified time before now. It can’t be used with a specific time, like yesterday. It can be used with expressions like ever or never: She has never drawn a dog. In this case it was true in the past and remains true now.To describe an event in the past with a specific time use the past perfect: last month she had drawn a dog. This uses the past tense of to have (had ) with the past participle, drawn.Watch out for the Future Perfect: when you meet her next month she will have drawn 50 pictures. We’re describing a future state where the action is completed.

Should I show my girlfriend this picture I drew of her?

my name is jimmy. im 14 and im a really good artist. just recently i finished working on a print of my girlfriend. i didn't know i was that good! it looked so much like her! i even colored the picture in on photoshop. it's such a lovely picture and i'd like to show it to her, the only problem is...
...i drew her wearing the 'slave leia' bikini from return of the jedi! remember the scene where jabba the hutt captures princess leia and chains her to his throne and forces her to wear a gold bikini? that's how i drew my girlfriend in this pic! i even drew a collar around her neck just like leia, and a chain coming off of it attached to jabba's throne. i didn't draw jabba. just the base of the throne.
in the picture, my girlfriend is lying across some silky pillows at the base of jabba's throne, chained to it, with her hand resting on her hip in a sexy fashion and the beautiful bikini on. it looks so gorgeous! and she looks adorable as a slave girl.
that's the problem though. im only 14 and so is she, and i am worried she might think the picture is perverted or something. it's really too bad because i put a lot of time and energy into it. its not like some gross, 50-year-old pervert drew the picture either! but, ugh! i'm torn! i want to show her the picture, but i don't want to embarass her!
do you think i should show my girlfriend the picture i drew of her?

Is drew a word? Like I drew that picture yesterday? Do I know an online source I can look at?
