It's possible he was just saying it to fire back. He might not have picked up that you were joking. He probably doesn't mean it. He's a manager and he probably didn't take the joke very well. I'd just apologize and not make jokes about him. Some people can't laugh at themselves and that's not all of a bad thing. It's all about humor and how people take it. I hope all works out.

i generally find that "mixed signals" is a term people use to complicate their own lives (seek out problems outside of themselves so as to avoid facing their own feelings or admitting to their actions).it may be that he's simply 'playing hurt' or 'playing victim'--which, in some cases, leaves women in awkward tightrope walking situations where they're skeptical to speak their minds and feel or think freely, for fear that one move might break off their relationship and send their ex-boyfriends' running for the hills, forever broken hearted. if this is the case, where he refuses to get intimate, gets flaky, is consistantly making excuses for his bad behaviour, etc. it may be that he's just not that into you and is simply looking for a rebound. if i were you, i wouldn't try 'fixing' him or his thoughts/views about relationships. i'd leave that up to him. people on a rebound often seek one or two things--sex and companionship--mainly due to the fact that they simply fear lonliness. i believe that by 'mixed signals' he probably meant he doesn't want to commit to anyone for fear that he may find himself in a similar situation with a new girlfriend (i.e. dealing with miscommunication and trust issues like he may have done in his marriage) and isn't willing to explore the possibility that other women and other circumstances may yield him hapiness, love and healthy communication. if this is the case, i wouldn't bother trying to change his mind here either--if his expectations and concerns aren't changing over time all on their own, then you can't be put in charge of dealing with his emotional baggage or blame yourself as being solely responsible when things awry/you don't see things are improving for him.

I think he meant that are students are not getting enough one on one time in the class room because they are to crowded and that the classes are getting shorter meaning less is being learned. And thats a waste of our childrens minds.

That’s a pretty honest assessment actually. His heart is clearly in the right place but he can put his foot in his mouth from time to time. That comes from not having a political background. In business you just say what’s on your mind. In politics, you have to craft everything you say so carefully because you are constantly being quoted and taken out of context and misconstrued. That’s why people like Obama are popular, because he’s perfected the art of smooth talking to soothe the masses while he wrecks the country.
What did Albert Einstein mean by this quote?
Einstien must have meant to say that- "When I studied Bhagavad Gita and questioned myself that how god had created the universe then I felt that god has given us more than we needed." Another reader- "Haruka Far Away" had said that Einstien must have meant that "everything seems so abundant". I agree with this statement also becuase I feel that mine statement and the other reader's statement are close to each other. Albert Einstien must have been surprised or astonished by the fact that nature has so many things for everybody. For eg, rivers, spings, mountains, sun, moon...........etc. The dictionary meaning of superfluous is "more than is needed or wanted:" This quote has inspired me because I feel that this quote suggests the non-partiality of nature. Nature practises no partiality or racism. Nature is God and God is Nature. Albert Einstien is one of my favourite personalities irrespective of the fact that he was a jew or any other relegion's person. I regard him for his givings to the world.
What do you, personally, think Christ meant when He said, "I thirst"?
I am sure Christ would have been acutely experiencing the physical need of hydration, of thirsting, but, at that most desperate of all moments, Christ could have expressed many a need; I am hungry, I am in pain, I am sorrowful etc.Yes, Christ would indeed have needed water to an extreme degree but I believe there to be much more significance and meaning behind His words than just expressing an obvious physical need.Christ was speaking metaphorically (as He often did). Christ’s REAL thirst was a thirst for souls, for the world to embrace His message. He was dying for their redemption after all - His hope was that it would not be in vain! Christ’s love is indiscriminate. It is offered to each and every one of us. His thirst is for all mankind to repent and embrace the Truth of the Gospel, to change their lives and become sons and daughters of God and heirs to the Kingdom.May we quench His thirst daily by being faithful to His Word!
