What do you think is the biggest challenge facing the United States in 21st century? Why?

Jobs: I have witnessed the past manufacturing jobs have disappeared because of technology

Today's high school drop out rate is high..I have heard that some high school drop rate is as high as 50%

People aren't going to the skilled trades..because people have to learn the skill

Nobody could do what I did..not today's world

What is the biggest threat to the world?

Biggest world issue is the growing disparity between the rich and the poor. This is both within nations, and between nations. Even in the U.S. the ‘middle class’ are seeing marked and increasing discrimination as to the availability of education (high cost), medical care, political representation (particularly after the Stupid Supreme Court ruling allowing unlimited contributions by Super-Pacs), and crappy ‘Justice’ system if you can’t afford it.[1] The aforementioned has all been distorted in the U.S. by the rich getting richer, and poor getting poorer, such that the U.S. is now an oligarchy. (The fallout of this has been election of Donald Trump; a clown, but an anti-establishment clown).Ignorance is second, in ALL it’s forms:Over population, and the religiously ‘blind’ ignorance to the issue as seen practiced mostly in the United States and religious theocracy's around the world.Ignorance to manipulation by those that make an income from supporting ‘sky is falling’ future weather predictions, as they ignore the historic record (yes, global temperatures HAVE NEVER been stationary), and theoretical doom (No, the polar bears are actually doing JUST FINE, and theoretical rise of CO2 increases crops in a world where people ARE STARVING). Check most ANY beach in the world, go out 400 feet and you’ll find an underwater cliff… that USED to be above the beach. If Trump can build a 2000 mile ‘wall’, New York City can get started too. Everybody’s entitled to their own invented past, it’s the invented present that bothers me. If asserting falsehood as ‘scientific fact’ can be performed without proof, then it should be dismissed without proof.Ignorance of evolution. Evolution does not have eye’s, but it can create them.Ignorance in not noticing that Nationalism is always unsatisfying and usually quite evil, because it always elevates the claim of a single group over all others, and makes a virtue of doing so. It’s the ‘tribal’ us that treats outsiders as ‘lesser’ humans. The best read to understand human genetic frailties is: “BEHAVE” by Robert M. Sapolsky; 2017- the bilology of humans at our best and worst.Footnotes[1] Testing Theories of American Politics: Elites, Interest Groups, and Average Citizens | Perspectives on Politics | Cambridge Core

What is the greatest threat to mankind?

In my personal and uneducated opinion I would say man himself is the biggest threat to mankind’s existence. Things like nuclear warfare, creation of aggressive AI, overconsumption of nonrenewable resources, or biological warfare are all directly or indirectly caused by man himself. Although the threats of supervolcano eruptions (like the one in Yellowstone), a natural pandemic (probably second biggest threat after man), famine, or the possibility of an asteroid impact are still very real and unpredictable for the most part, they are all not as menacing as the concept of man destroying itself. You see those other threats are all natural in it’s cause, but threat of man to me is more terrifying because it is much more intimate and something that may be in you subconsciously. Besides all the other things I mentioned may leave a few humans left alive afterwards. In the desperation of such a apocalyptic aftermath, humanity will submit to their most brutal and primal instincts.Think of it this way. Chimpanzees are very brutal social animals, much like us. However, I think we are more brutal because of our increased intelligence. Picture chimps fighting over territory as usual, beating to death and scaring off their rivals in limited hand to hand combat. Now picture what the jungle battle would look like if the chimps used grenades against each other. The second-to-last man will be killed by the last man. The last man will die alone with blood on his hands.

Hillary Benghzy Clinton adamantly states worlds worst enemy right now is........are you ready for this?

"GLOBAL WARMING"?

With terrorist, radical Moslems hell bent on sending everyone on the planet back to the 9th. century or their graves, a barely controlled EBOLA virus. which could easily go airborne as it keeps mutating, traveling around Africa. Old Hilly claims Global Warming is our worst threat.
In her famous words,
"What difference does it make?"

What is the worst crisis humanity is currently facing?

By far, our environment. There are huge dead zones in parts of the ocean, massive piles of garbage hundreds of square miles covering the bottom of the ocean. Our oceans are dying. The ocean’s fish are becoming depleted.Global warming—as much as deniers try to, it is measurable and real. Even a few percent will be devastating, and we are seeing many of the effects now.The Sahara desert is growing, moving south and getting larger every year. The Amazon rain forest is being slashed and burned, and being in the climatic zone it is, the heavy rains leach nutrients out of the deforested soil, and so the farmers have to slash and burn more square miles of rain forest.Humans have overpopulated the Earth, and each person takes up more and more resources. As China and India develop, they will consume as many resources as people in the US, leading to a crisis in resource availability. The Earth simply cannot support this many people who consume this much in resources.

What is the greatest family resource management issue facing American families today?

The worst thing facing families is the attack from the sleeze on tv, at the kids schools, their friends. The break up of the family unit. These things are destroying America from within. This has lead to all other problems in America.

What is the most serious environmental problem the world is facing today?

1. Pollution: Pollution of air, water and soil require millions of years to recoup. Industry and motor vehicle exhaust are the number one pollutants. Heavy metals, nitrates and plastic are toxins responsible for pollution. While water pollution is caused by oil spill, acid rain, urban runoff; air pollution is caused by various gases and toxins released by industries and factories and combustion of fossil fuels; soil pollution is majorly caused by industrial waste that deprives soil from essential nutrients.2. Global Warming: Climate changes like global warming is the result of human practices like emission of Greenhouse gases. Global warming leads to rising temperatures of the oceans and the earth’ surface causing melting of polar ice caps, rise in sea levels and also unnatural patterns of precipitation such as flash floods, excessive snow or desertification.3. Overpopulation: The population of the planet is reaching unsustainable levels as it faces shortage of resources like water, fuel and food. Population explosion in less developed and developing countries is straining the already scarce resources. Intensive agriculture practiced to produce food damages the environment through use of chemical fertilizer, pesticides and insecticides. Overpopulation is one of the crucial current environmental problem.4. Natural Resource Depletion: Natural resource depletion is another crucial current environmental problems. Fossil fuel consumption results in emission of Greenhouse gases, which is responsible for global warming and climate change. Globally, people are taking efforts to shift to renewable sources of energy like solar, wind, biogas and geothermal energy. The cost of installing the infrastructure and maintaining these sources has plummeted in the recent years.5. Waste Disposal: The over consumption of resources and creation of plastics are creating a global crisis of waste disposal. Developed countries are notorious for producing an excessive amount of waste or garbage and dumping their waste in the oceans and, less developed countries. Nuclear waste disposal has tremendous health hazards associated with it. Plastic, fast food, packaging and cheap electronic wastes threaten the well being of humans. Waste disposal is one of urgent current environmental problem.Website-15 Current Environmental Problems That Our World is Facing - Conserve Energy Future
