What do you think about the Balinese people?
The Balinese people are much the same as everyone else around the world. They experience the same life struggles, but the big difference is that they manage to always have a smile on their face. They are kind hearted and family and community are extremely important to them as is following their Hindu faith. They are proud of their culture and have worked hard to keep it alive.I have lived in Bali for over 20 years and feel that I have come to be a part of that culture and also feel a sense of pride. Life has changed a lot over the years and materialism has taken a firm grip as it has everywhere, so things are changing. However, it is still a great place to live and the people here are very dear to my heart.
Do girls wear bikinis in Bali?
As a Balinese woman, I say yes, most western woman in Bali do wear bikini , G string or some times even topless. You will not find many local Balinese or Indonesian woman wear very small bikini, G string or topless and if they do, then maybe they are not from that area where family or friends might see them. For me, I only wear bikini in Bali if I am out in a boat, but if I am the beach, I wear tee shirt over my bikini.
What do Bali Hindus think of Indian Hindus?

But sometimes it not, especially when they saw about the rise of Hindu extremist in India. The most people of Balinese Hindus well educated in Vedic theology, and it seems they not agree with the idea of Hindus extremist, because it betrayed the basic principle of Hinduism, PEACE and HUMANITY.In Balinese mindset, if you want to protect your own religion, you need to be innovative and creative. To spread the Hinduism and Vedic taught, they have some ‘televangelist' who broadcast everyday in local tv. In Bali, every Pura (temple) have missionaries work to spread their religion among tourist, and this actions has been succeed in recent five years.And also, Balinese Hindus is responsible for the improvement of the educational standards among young Hindus generation. And now, the most of Balinese Hindus have a higher life standards than other social groups except Chinese Indonesians.Brothers and Sisters of Indian Hindus, you don't need to be an extremist if you want to protect your own religion. I'm speak here as Balinese Hindus, so why we don't try to make a good cooperation, especially in Education and Social Culture, as we were lived under the same Veda. So we could protect OUR religion together.

yes, of course. I have been married to an Indonesian male for over 20 years. However, it is not the color of our skin that matters, it is finding a connection with another human being. I did not think about my husband’s race or religion when we met, we just enjoyed each other’s company, and had the same vision of how our lives could be together. I do not think you should be focused on finding a white girl or a black girl, but more about finding someone who appreciates you for who you are and who you can appreciate in the same way
Is INDONESIA a GOOD country or BAD country? What do you think about this unique NATION actually?
Oh well, what should I say? I'm an Indonesian. I'm proud of my country but I'm also so ashamed of the people who run the country. Yup, it's true that Indonesia is a corrupt country. Indonesia is a rich country with a lot of mines (gold, oil, coals, etc) and also rich of natural sources (spices, fishes, etc). But we also have a lot of debts, because the people who run the country (read: the government) take the advantages for themselves, and let the Indonesian people suffer cuz of poverty. The corruption is unbelievably disgusting, from the lower workers (read: people who has no power at all) til the central of the government. They all wanna get bribery. So when you have money, Indonesia will be a heaven for you. Cuz you can get everything you want. You even can buy the law! But on the other hand, Indonesia is a very beautiful country with many unique cultures. This is what I'm proud of. Also the people there are generally nice and friendly. Especially the people from Bali. I have to say that they are different from the other Indonesians. Because as you know, Bali is a tourist destination, many foreigners come and live there. So the Balinese are more 'open minded' than the others. They are more international. And there are LOTS more of beautiful places in Indonesia, and more beautiful than Bali. But yeah, Bali is the most famous. So back to your question, Is Indonesia a good or a bad country? Well, I have to say that Indonesia is a beautiful bad country! (for the other Indonesians who read this, dun take this personally if you are not agree with me, I'm juz being honest!) Indonesia could be a REAL heaven for the foreigners who wanna live, or work, or juz wanna make holidays there, also good for the investors. Everything is so cheap and the Indonesians are also nice and friendly. Indonesia is a bad country only for the Indonesian people themselves. And for the foreigners, Indonesia is juz a beautiful country!

Phuket and Bali?
It really depends on your plans- I have been to both- if I want to party- as a single man-women and heavy drinking I go to Phuket- if i have a girl with me that I want to have a romantic time with- i go to bali- the diving is good in both, and of course in phuket you can get away from the all night party- but it will def. be calling your name- have safe travels-if you need any sppecific info let me know- would be glad to show you picks and tell you here to stay
