What Do You Think Of Gary In Big Brother Uk

What does Bing Crosby mean when he says "I got me a piece of Gary" in "Gone Fishin'" with Louie Armstrong?

Bing Crosby's eldest son, Gary, had just recorded a duet with Bing on "Play a Simple Melody" and "Sam's Song", a 45rpm release that had just sold a million copies, when Louis Armstrong joined Bing on his radio show. The song included a few 'asides' that would've been known by radio (and later recording) audiences of the early 1950s. Bing also mentions 'the twins on that detail' in response to Louis' line "cows need milkin' in the barn" - Bing had twin sons, a little over a year younger than their elder brother Gary - Phillip and Dennis. And "Cindy Lou" probably refers to one of Bing's labrador retrievers of the same name.

The song "Gone Fishin'" proved to be such a hit on the radio that Decca executives rushed Bing and Louis (both under contract to the record label) into the studio to cut a single of the song.

Who do you think is the most overrated pundit on the planet?

I would say Gary Neville. The guy is a terrible colour commentator and when analysing games and tactics in the studio he simply points out the obvious. It shows how low the bar is set in British punditry that he's rated as knowledgeable by some.

He also got found out big time at Valencia.

He's not as dumb as his brother, though.

What do you think the world would look like if the Soviet Union had won the Cold War?

Thanks for A2A, Rebecca Duncan.>>What do you think the world would look like if the Soviet Union had won the Cold War?Actually, “the stuff” (rhetoric, political activities, polarization of opinions in media, style of discussion with opponents etc.) that happened in the USA in 2016–2017 during elections and afterwards was very similar “in feeling” to what I personally experienced during my very brief participation in Soviet low-level Communist Youth political activities in 1990.So I would say USSR victory in cold war would look very much like it looks right now. Basically once Bernie Sanders (or someone like him) becomes a president - you may safely assume that USSR had won the Cold war in some sense.Since that’s what the “Cold war” was about - which type of political system would define the future of humanity either USA republicanism or USSR/China/North Korea/European Union/United Kingdom stratified centralized states. In 15th century Italian city-state republics were weaker than Ottomans who were “communists” of those times. In 18–20th century situation had changed with successful scaling of the antique experience in USA across whole North America. What would happen in 21st century is really interesting to see.

Does the government really have our best interests at heart? Or is there a more wicked agenda?

Dude, really?

You blame the government for all this, when it's private corporations running the airlines, the pharmaceutical and healthcare system, and controlling the food supply? Geez, how dumb are you?

It's Wall Street and Big Banking--they control corporations far FAR more directly than any government of the world ever could. You just said it yourself--this is a plot of the Richest One Percent, if not the richest TENTH of a Percent.

To answer your face-value Question: Does ANYONE really have our best interests at heart? More to the point, why assume the unelected filthy rich, and their lawyers (like the RIAA) and their lobbyists (like Grover Norquist, like the NRA) are innocent in all of this? Why do you wingnuts GIVE Big Money a free pass?

Oh, right, because Fox News tells you to, and you see no irony at all in having a Wall Streeter in Rupert Murdoch _tell you_ what to think.

At least we can _attempt_ to elect our government, ok? At least there's oversight.

Who died and made Grover Norquist, the NRA, and the RIAA kings? Who voted for them and how do we get rid of them short of a lynching?

Really, you make me sad. I know you're here to promote a website, nothing more. I know you're here to actually make independent, free thinkers look BAD by associating them with paid-for kooks and extremists who were Truthers one day and rabid Birthers the next. I know this.

Anyone with half a brain does and will NOT associate with you.

How are Britons reacting to the news of Prince Harry's engagement to Meghan Markle?

My thoughts as a British born Caribbean; are that the Queen is only allowing the marriage to go ahead, because Prince Harry is only 5th or 6th in line to the throne so there is little chance he will ever become King.Prince Andrew wasn't allowed to marry Koo Stark, because she wasn't considered suitable for a member of the Royal Family who was at the time 2nd in line to the throne, after Prince Charles, his older brother. Koo Stark had appeared topless in a porn film before she had met Prince Andrew. There is still gossip in the UK that the security services ( secret service ) had plotted Princess Diana's assassination, because she was in a relationship whilst married to Prince Charles with an Indian or Pakistani, then with an Arab. The Queen has lots of out of wedlock distant relatives in the Caribbean. Colin Powell the American former General is one of them. Another one of her Jamaican distant relatives used to work for London Transport as a bus conductor back in the 1960s and 70s.As for Megan Markle, mixed race women like herself married to white men have children that pass in the UK as white and are treated as such. But I am curious to know how people of her ( future ) children's race profile are treated in America. Are they considered to be white or black in American society ?I've just taken a look at Megan Markle mother's photograph for the first time on Google Pictures ( I don't have a TV at home ). Black women in the UK that look like that ie elderly, don't get on with the sort of establishment toffs that surround the Royal Family. So if her mother spends much time in the UK I wouldn't be surprised to hear sooner or later that some official has been rude to her, or mistook her as a cleaner or something along those lines.

"Chasing Cars" is the third single from Snow Patrol's fourth album, Eyes Open. It was released on July 24, 2006 in the United Kingdom.

The song was first heard on the band's 2005 Final Straw tour, when they began playing three newly written songs (the other two being "Your Halo" and "It's Beginning to Get to Me") they intended to release on their upcoming album. Since then, the composition of the song was changed only slightly, but most of the lyrics were rewritten.

"Chasing Cars" pushed its way onto the download and pop charts in the United States after it was heard in the second season finale of the popular television show Grey's Anatomy on May 15, 2006. Due to the song's surprise popularity, it was released as an overlapping single in early June and the video was re-recorded to include clips from the show.

Gary Lightbody, frontman of Snow Patrol, says it is the "most pure and open love song [he's] ever written." [1]

"Chasing Cars" was also featured on the highlight show for Big Brother UK Series 7.
