He was experimenting with his clients by giving them heat stroke (which can be fatal) and calling it an "altered state." One person in a prior sweat lodge that he ran has brain damage from heat stroke. He trained the participants to trust him all week. The participants had been in the desert fasting from both food and water for 36 hours prior to the sweat lodge. He encouraged them to push past their body's signals. He implied that if they didn't stay in the sweat lodge the whole time that they weren't the "spiritual warriors" that the week was all about. He charged $10,000 for this week-long adventure. He told them that they would feel like they were going to die, but they wouldn't. During the sweat lodge, he ignored people who said that people were passing out in the lodge. People were being dragged out unconscious in front of him. He sat by the door near the air and was the first out. 20 people went to the hospital at the end. He didn't check to see that everyone was out of the lodge at the end. If he had done so, the three people might not have died. How can you choose to leave when you are unconscious?

The lyrics of the song are just top notch. It’s one of those rare songs which you like right from the first time. It’s calm and soothing, doesn’t have any heavy instrument. The music production is right. It has like four chords and the same progression throughout the song so it won’t make you scratch your head if you are trying to recreate it on guitar. So I’m gonna say it’s one of the best of this year.It brings the “okay this is how I’m gonna spend my life with that special person” vibe. The lyrics describe how to people meet and how they stay even when one of them has died. So its pretty strong.

do what i do--i don't read music either. make flash cards. i used index cards. put the different notes on appropriate lines and spaces with the notation. you will want to keep in mind the sharps and the flats. i did one note per card, with the appropriate answer on the other side because i wanted to start to learn the notes on sight. but you could do several per 'card'. anywho, you get the idea. because i seriously doubt if anyone is going to take all the time necessary to lay out a complete score.
