What Do You Think Of My Cover Of Wrecking Ball By Miley Cyrus ;

Miley cyrus wrecking ball?

Boring and forgettable

What do you think of Miley Cyrus's "Wrecking Ball" video?

It screams as an obvious attempt by an artist trying to change her image and redefine herself. Known primarily as a Disney child actor, Miley has struggled finding a career after her Disney show ended.  And while many will scoff, her latest attempt to change her image has worked perfectly.  She has shocked people.  She has offended people.  She has showcased an edge.  And people are talking about it.  And people are buying her new songs.  She's all over social media.  You can expect that everyone will make an added attempt to listen to her new songs and especially watch her new videos and musical performances.  Although it is a little obvious that this is all about an image change, the venture has proven to be a success. Mission Accomplished.

Is ''Wrecking Ball'' by Miley Cyrus autotuned?

I compared Miley's live perfomance for wrecking ball with the studio version and she sounds pretty good live except her voice sounds a LOT deeper live,was the pitch and tune corrected in the studio? also what software do they use to do so?

What is the meaning behind Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking ball” is she in love but can't break down the wall?

“The song has been interpreted as a ballad about “love lost and found, but also about—again—the idea of youth burning hard and fast and then fading away.””This is taken from Genius, which I suggest that you visit to learn more about the meaning behind songs/lyrics! Great site.To answer your question, no it is love lost . If you were to just read the chorus word for word, you’d find that she came into ‘love’ like a wrecking ball, indicating a huge force probably she gave it all and dove in. She wanted to break the persons walls but she was wrecked instead.TLDR; she loved a person too hard, symbolized like a wrecking ball, but she got wrecked instead.PS: Miley didn’t write the song. Sacha Skarbek, the writer, originally pitched it to Beyonce!

Given that Miley Cyrus was completely nude in her "Wrecking Ball" video, does this mean she failed to take into account criticism of her VMA performance and is there a point when people may start to lose interest as her ability to shock and surprise lessens?

"Failed to take into account" or didn't share the values expressed in those criticisms? It appears to me -- as a very distant observer -- that she's trying to create an image other than Hannah Montana. How she chooses to do so is likely the result of discussions between her and her agents. If she's wrong, her career will tank or take a vastly different direction. If she's right, the criticisms will have been proved wrong, at least insofar as 'success' is concerned.If she loses some of her audience, but gains a larger one, she'll have succeeded -- at least for certain values of 'success'.

What do you think of Miley Cyrus?

As her best friend "Leslie" says in Miley's hit "See You Again": She's just being Miley. All of her current songs point to it as well, she's doing what she wants.  This is the way of our generation doing what they want and what makes them happy.  She's based.  I think people are more upset because they've seen her grow up as a cute little kid and see that this is what she chose for herself.  She could've gone any direction but she chose this one and it's not the one people envisioned. I don't like all of her songs, I barely listen to her.  But she is a talented artist who works hard.  I don't think we have a right to bash her choices since they aren't worse(I think they're better) than the choice to become a Wall Street whore. What she's doing right now is incredible.  She's putting herself out there to learn more and experience.  I think overall this will help her musical exploration as she learns from different styles.  I dislike electronic music a lot, but she's borrowed a ton from there.  Right now she's been getting real comfortable with hip hop and rap.  Her first transition there isn't great, but the first time I played drums I sucked terribly(still not really that good anyway). The most important part is that she's not defending what she's doing with excuses.  She's just being Miley and she seems to be enjoying it.  In contrast with Amanda Bynes who was constantly nagged, why aren't you acting anymore when she quit, and was brought down because she didn't want to act but people wanted her to because she was talented.  That's a sad story of people pushing someone to the edge of desire until they fall off and lose it a little.  That happens and we shouldn't judge it either.   I hope Miley continues to be Miley, showing people not only her music but that we should try to be true to ourselves a little more.
