What do you think about my web design?

Sorry to break this to you, but your website doesn't look or fell professional. You are young, you still have a lot to learn. You call yourself a "php ninja" yet you let broken php code show on client side. You try to use php to achieve something that was easly done in plain html. A "mailto" hyperlink would've suficed. You should've only used php for creating a full contact form, not a simple link. As a "ninja" designer you used a webfont that doesn't support latin extended characters. And you did that in your main heading. You clearly didn't perform any browser compatibility testing before releasing your portofolio website. This is a rookie mistake. Your portofolio section is not marked as one, at least in the mobile version of your website. One cannot tell if that is your portofolio, one can oly guess. You don't need your clients to guess. You cannot see any details about your projects. Only some pictures that do not tell any story. Your portofolio projects should be well documentated, with case studies and all. Speaking of projects, you brag with "+70 projects" but only show 3, including your own website. All this aspects make your portofolio look a bit like a lie for prospective clients. Keep learning and stop calling yourself a ninja. This is my advice. Side note: this are my thoughts after viewing your website on an mobile device, Chrome/iOS.

What do you think about fashion design?

A fashion designer is someone who loves to study fashion trends, sketch designs, select materials, and have a part in all the production aspects of their designs. They contribute to the creation of millions, if not billions of pieces of clothing and accessories purchased by consumers on a yearly basis. Fashion designers create women's, men's and children's apparel. This might include sportswear, maternity wear, outerwear, underwear, formalwear, eyewear and footwear. There are also accessory designers who design belts, scarves, hats, handbags and hosiery. The design process from design concept to final production takes many months. Researching current fashion trends and making predictions of future trends is the first step in creating the design. Some fashion designers do their own research while others depend on trend reports published by fashion industry trade groups. Trend reports let you know what styles, colours and fabrics will be popular for a certain season in the near future. Textile manufacturers use these trend reports to design fabrics and patterns while fashion designers begin to sketch designs. Designers then visit manufacturers or trade shows to get samples of fabrics and figure out which fabrics to use with which designs.A fashion designer takes part in just about every aspect of bringing fashion to the public. Creating the basic design can be done in different ways. It can involve storyboards with sketches, to working with a dummy and sewing pieces of material together. This creating phase is when the designer takes his/her vision that's swirling in the mind's eye and puts it into a visual expression. This first draft of the design is then worked on as the designer develops the first basic prototype.

Design thinking: How can you design your life?

I would like to start my answer from the word Design. In engineering terms, the Design is the creation of a plan or convention for the construction of an object, system or measurable human interaction. But let me make it simpler, Design is a thinking made visual. And what I understands from Design of life is to design a life one wishes to live and make it visual or in real.Further, I believe one could achieve it by following five basic steps.1. The first is to be curious, this is seriously the crucial mindset needed to have a kick start. Einstein himself famously said that he had no real talents other than passionate curiosity. If someone has to learn a new thing that he/she wishes for then curiosity must me there as it primes our brain to learn new things.2. Curiousness must be followed by trying stuffs. Prototyping is a fundamental part of design thinking, and doing cheap and easy experiments just to test out our assumptions is absolutely fine.3. Studies have even shown that the way we frame things can play a significant part in whether we get started or procrastinate. By re framing our problems we can often look at situations in a new light and come up with much better solutions to them.4. There is no real end point and it is much less about the outcome than way you are achieving it. Thus focus on process rather than outcome will allow you to gain something from every eventuality, be it good or bad.5. See, design and invention is a collaborative process, and designing of life is no different. So, there should be an open approach both to new ideas and insights you can receive from people about new directions, but also in terms of feedback from others on those ideas.Hence, I believe, by being curious, trying new stuffs, re framing problems in case stucked, more focus of process rather than on end results and with having an open approach one can design a life whichever way one aspire for.
