What Do You Think Of My Drawing So Far

What do you think about this drawing?

I do love surrealism. If you would be open to the idea that this could be recreated with improvements, I would start with studying up on amatomy and making her body more accurately drawn and I woilf add a twist in her position. This would help you to achieve the sensual look that I feel you are going for. The elements of nature are nice. I get the message that you have of a love for nature and you feel a connecton to it. The concept is appealing to me. Just practice, study anatomy, draw more from real life and your imagination, take drawing classes with live models - they used to have these for free in the evenings once a week at the college I went to with just a donation jar for the model and it was open to the public. And keep posting for fedback! Great job! Hang it on your wall. Admire it, and in the future you will use it as a yardstick to see how far you have come. What established artists do you admire? Make sure you gain as much inspiration from them as you do your own work. Study their stuff and try to figure out their technique and learn about their education and life experience which brought them to the mastery which they achieved.

What do you think while drawing?

When drawing, I’m usually only concentrated on the creative process itself. My mind wanders from imaginary talks to my heros of comic book creation to the music I listen to. Drawing is for me a process to switch off (or temper) my normal stream of thought. I can draw something, look up and be surprised that an half hour has passed without me have any realization of the time passing. When I’m not in this mood, the drawing usually is not very good. Lines loose their expressiveness, become dull, hastened. It costs energy to be this concentrated. Usually at the end of a drawing session I get very hungry.

What do yo think of these drawings?

I like your work. You seem to be interested in drawing animals. Perhaps you should work on anatomy of animals. Look at the bone structure and how the muscles work upon the bone structure. The muscles move in certain ways that give more expression. The fur follows the contour of muscle and bone. Observe and study one animal at a time until you feel competent in your attempts. Then go on to the next animal that strikes your fancy. A bad background hinders your good drawing of the fox. For now just suggest the feeling of trees and underbrush. Study how to create your background when you have the strong need to work with it. Interest comes and goes so just follow the flow. What ever you do keep observing and practicing.Do resort to the different grades of pencils as suggested.

I've been drawing for 3 months now and I think I've improved quite a bit. But what do you think?

Good job, i've been in the same place as you are right now, and you have a great start. From what i see, you are missing the Basics of Drawing, such as Composition Perspective and Proportion. If you want to improve your drawing skills or you see that something is kind of funny looking and you don't know what it is, it is exactly this reason. You need to start with the most basic volumes just a square or a circle, and in a front view, you sketch those volumes softly with a pencil, trace some lines where you think the :-Eyes-Mouth-Middle of the headAnd the beggining of the hair line will go.After that start to draw on top of that, the eyes, mouth, and hair, etc.As simple as that, if you make this and then compare it to your previous drawings you will see where it was wrong. If you need examples, on proportions or perspective, just search on Google Images: "3/4 angle anime" Take a look at the images and copy them on paper, they all start with spheres, then add the jaw, eyes, mouth and hair.Eventually when you make several of this sketches, with grids, you will notice how shapes go, how perspective works and in short time you'll be drawing naturaly without the need of grids.BTW i still use grids when drawing.+p@bLØ+ : PhotoPS. Also search for separated items: "Anime Eyes", "Anime Mouths", etc. And try to draw as many different styles as posible, after that, you can mix stlyes or create your own.PS S. Answering your question What is wrong in this picture?.- They left eye needs to be a little bit smaller and you don't actually see the whole eye from that angle.- The placement of the mouth and eyebrows need to be aranged.- The hair is kind of messy, maybe a different hairstyle.- And the placement and size of the left cheek, this makes the head look big and the neck small. Finally, Good job keep drawing i know you can improve, so go for it and never get discouraged.

How's this drawing (10 pts)?

very good (!) but I believe you forgot a few minor details. You need to add one or two lines to indicate the presence of the collar bones.

The back also has a natural curvature that should also be emphasized by the placing of a line down the middle.

Also the ankle needs defining. Maybe place a curved line to show the presence of the ankle.

Does anyone else think my bill cosby drawing is funny or did I go too far?

Its what I expect he dreams about as the jail door shuts every night wishing if he could go back in time and do it all differently as his legacy fades away year after year in the ages of the black holes

What do you think of my artwork?

Although some of the changes to themes (link with a pistol) are very imaginative, the themes themselves need to be more original. try writing an outline of the adventures of a character that you make up and then illustrate scenes in the outline. as far as the actual drawing is concerned, it is good now, but practice a lot and it will become much wetter
