Suggestions for cooking salmon?
put a little bit of cooking oil in a frying pan then sear the salmon fillet on each side and the skin should come off really easy after that then turn down the flame and pour some ginger teriaki sauce all over and let it cook the rest of the way in the teriaki on a low flame till nice and pink in the middle
Why does vanilla icecream have little black dots in it?
Any time i buy vanilla icecream it always has these like super small little black dots in it. The one i have in the tub in my freezer. Little black dots. The one's i get on the scoops at the icecream store. Little black dots. The one i had for desert after i took my gf out for dinner. little black dots. They dont like poisin me or else i'd be dead by now but i just dont like them there. What are they?
Costume ideas using polka dot dress?
I have a black polka dotted dress and I'm thinking of reusing it for halloweeen costume. I was going to be Minnie mouse and buy a red belt and bow but is there any other suggestions of what I can use the dress to dress up as? c:
Black specks in my bechamel (white sauce)?
So I was cooking up a bechamel sauce, which is basically a white sauce where you cook butter and flour together and then add milk and it thickens to a sauce. Now I was making it and after I added the milk before it started thickening, I noticed a bunch of black specks in the sauce. I did not add any seasoning to it so I didn't understand why this happen. So I dumped it, switched pans, and tried again. This time I wiped the pan with a damp towel before using it just to eliminate that of being a cause. Then the same thing happened. Does anyone know why this happened? I was afraid that it was pieces of the pan or something but it couldn't be since I switched pans. Could the cause be my use of margarine instead of butter? I'm pretty sure I didn't burn the rue before. I ended up just finishing the second one and eating it. I'm still nervous what the specks were.
