What Do You Think Of The Name Noor For A Girl White People Stay Out Of This Lol.

Muslims like to insult me, why do you think that is?

Salaam,
Wow, it is so weird to see "Muslims" on this forum who run in little cliques even though it is strictly against Islam. To come here and just say you agree with someone is like saying you have no mind and you do not know much about Islam other then the few verses you may have read. Many people think Islam is just like other religions. You can try to change it but it will never happen and you will rot in hell for the attempt. I see many Muslimahs on this site who are in their little groups sticking up for one another and misrepresenting Islam. It is heart breaking.
I have gotten many hate mails from other Muslims on this forum also. But, I am not here for them so they are entitled to say what they like. As Muslims we all need to monitor ourselves and our fellow Muslims. Many of you would say it is not so but this is how it works in the Middle East and other Islamic countries. Just we all need to be able to do so in such a manor without insulting one another. Also, many "Muslims" here can not handle if you disagree with them and they block or will report you for your answers. Muslims should remember that they are being judged for their actions and everything is noted. Hijab does not just mean head covering in Arabic it means to dress with modesty. Many people keep saying they wear hijab..When they mean a head cover and they walk around thinking it is ok for women to wear jeans and dress in tight clothing. The Quran tells us what is right. If they choice not to follow it then they are wrong.. But, if they tell others it is ok then they are sinning. Many women here have their culture mixed up with Islam. Islam has perfectly stated what is haraam and halal...

Give the thumbs down all you like. I will never be one of these people who insult the Prophet Mohammed(pbuh) with questions about his sunnah or hadith. I know Islam consist of following the Quran and Sunnah....

What Should western women be aware of when dating Arab men?

How about forgetting all the other answers because they were written by either ignorant people who never actually experienced being with Arab men , or they are islamophobic feminists .From my experience there are a lot of bad Arab guys and a lot of good ones , so don't go generalizing , if you do find one , you'll have to prepare for the following :He is over protective of you , and won't hesitate to punch someone who either disrespects you or tries to pick you upHe is over gentlemanly , like he will always open doors for you , bring you flowers , he won't let you pay when you go out (it's actually funny because Most Arab men think it's the manly thing to do , and if they don't do it they are not manly enough , and unfortunately some girls use that to their advantage)He might be conservative , in which case he will be more inclined to tell you to wear more modest clothing and not look at other guys or talk to other guys alot.Depending on his mentality , to tell you the truth I've noticed two types of mentalities (and this is also generalizing but it's putting things in perspective) :The player : this type is generally aggressive and only wants sex , and since most of the Arabic communities are sexually deprived(their own fault) he will be only viewing you as a sex object ( feminists calm down)The nice guy : those are more friendly and open and will gain your trust first then they will try to ask you out , althought they are equally attracted to girls like the players , but they are less aggressiveIn the end dating an Arab guy is only interesting if the person you're with isArabic culture is very rich with many beautiful things (like we have 7 different words for different degrees of love! How cool is that?)but being with a man isn't affected very much by his background culture , only through the way that man has responded to that background and the way he chose to grow himself mentally and emotionally will decide your experience with him.Edit#1: Actually there are about a hundred words for love as pointed out by Nour Ghazal thanks! (I said 7 because I counted them off of the top of my head , and most of the other expressions aren't even used on daily basis only in literature).

Ramadan: how come hoor el ayn can't be black?

Good point. Even Muhammad Javed wouldn't disagree with you on racism inside Mosque.
I recall one Saudi boy who was told by his angry Imam teacher that he would get 72 black houris if he didn't recite his Quran in proper Arabic. Imagine a racist for your Imam! I am sure a good many brown/black Muslims here have witnessed racism inside Mosques and even in their colour-conscious Imams, who talk right over their heads to pale-skinned Muslims beside them and make them feel like empty spaces in between. It is awful. This is why brown/black Muslims switch Mosques, until they find some places where they can feel their sense of belonging within.

Edit, don't need fgdfg. Don't take her seriously either. She is only teasing you. She is just some giddy teenage girl who loves messing around and having a laugh here. I bet she is laughing now as she reads this. She is a Madam. Well for her to be so young and playful like that. I wouldn't mind being a teenager again.

@NB the Cutie. Most true. It is that way too here in Ireland. Tan is worshipped here. Tan means you are wealthy and well-travelled. Irish whites spend a massive fortune on getting their skin tanned. There is tanorexia. They spend much on tanning lotions, sunbeds, tanning booths, etc.
I use tanning wipes that are available at chemist - they are just cloths with skin-staining pigments. I favour orangey brown colour for skin. I put them on hands, arms, face and neck. Honestly, I can't go outdoors looking like a sore thumb, in other word too pale, when neighbours have better colours than me. Besides, tan acts as my protective screen against sunburns that break into blitters.

Was Hitler better than Umar?

:)) Yes sure,at least hitler didn't kill the closest people to his prophet!

Puppy names?

I have 3 puppies. One of them is mine, shes black and white, clam, cute, the runt, patient, and intellegent. Im thinking of naming her Mocha, it just fits. Do you like it?

the other 2 i get to name, but their not mine. theres a brown and white one, shes like a rebel puppy, she hates my brother and she loves me, shes cute, the fluffiest, sometimes a klutz, impatient, and rough...Then theres a white and black spotted one. Shes cute, sassy, loves everyone, likes to eat my slippers, she licks the heck outta my face and, yeah......

any ideas?

Ramadan: Why is the Star & Crescent used as a symbol for Islam?

@Curious Girl: Thanks! ^_^ The reason I said "little" is because some people connect the the symbol with Islam because of the moon and us following the lunar calendar and such, but it still has nothing to do with it really. People just make things up. :|
