What Do You Think Of The New Tattoo

How can I get rid of a new tattoo?

By far the best way to remove a tattoo is through professional laser removal. It normally takes from 6–12 sessions to have a tattoo removed by laser.A few things to think about:Your tattoo would need to be fully healed before you can start the laser treatment. You still need to look after it while it’s healing, as you want the ink to remain as stable as possible for the laser to work efficiently. So no scratching, no soaking for the first 48 hours, no going in the sun without suncream and so on.How well the laser removes the tattoo, and how many sessions you’ll need depends on a number of things: size, colour, intricacy of design, etc.Always listen to the advice of the professionals in the laser clinic. I believe you shouldn’t apply any removal creams etc in between sessions, even if you might be tempted to. If you have any questions whatsoever, ask. Some tattoos might still leave a ‘ghost’, a faded pattern where the tattoo used to be.Always go to a recognised clinic or have your tattoo removed at a licensed tattoo parlour who also offer this service. You can also cover a tattoo up with a different tattoo. Whether a tattoo can be covered up, and how well, obviously depends on the design and the skill of the artist. Some tattoos might need to be faded a bit by laser before you can begin the cover up.As an aside -you mention this is a new tattoo, and I just wanted to say a lot of people feel uncertain about their tattoos when they first get them. A lot of people don’t like the fact that they look dark, or feel a tattoo just looks strange and alien on their body. This is normal, and very common.Obviously I don’t know your specific circumstances, and you know what’s best for you. I just thought I’d mention this in case this helps your decision at all.Best of luck :)

This one says "Kids 50". It's on her left forearm. What do you think?

Serious fans, please.

What do you think of david cook's new tattoo?

I feel like it may be a little too big but for the most part I like it. Plus I love David Cook, so I'd support any of his decisions. He's an amazing artist and a really caring, generous, just completely loving selfless individual. He's such a good person, I couldn't say anything bad about him. It looks great.

Can I put coconut oil on my new tattoo?

Not a big fan. In general, I feel like there are three phases to the healing process:The rough abrasion phase. The first couple of days after getting a fresh tattoo when you still loose lots of ink, bleed a bit and are quite sensitive. The “healing phase” when your start to itch like hell and the skin scabs a bit.The “recovery” phase. For me, it starts after two weeks. The skin is fully healed, but ridiculously dry to the point where it scabs if not treated with some sort of body moisturizer. For the first phase especially, it’s important to keep your skin clean. I like to wash it 4–5 times a day with antibacterial soap. It gets rid of all the blood and excess ink and makes sure your tattoo doesn’t infect. I don’t think moisturizer, oil or something similar does any good at this time. You need something to seal the skin and boost healing. Many people recommend Aquaphor. Personally, I love the Pegasus cream: Amazon.com : Pegasus Pro Tattoo Ointment for Sensitive Skin (0.84 oz) : Tattooing Products : BeautyIn addition to moisturizing your skin, it’s based on panthenol, the same stuff that the popular Bepanthene cream uses. I feel like it actually makes a difference.Once you’re in the healing phase and you start itching and scabbing, you can switch to oils or moisturizers. The important thing here is to keep your skin moist so you don’t loose too much skin when scabbing. Dry skin is quite dangerous as it could scab to a point where you actually loose some ink and damage your tattoo. Also - don’t peel; same effect. I’ve got a big bucket of the Pegasus cream to I tend to use it for this phase as well. Once applied, it lasts about 6–8 hours so that works great for me during work days. I think Hustle Butter or coconut oil could do the trick for you here. After treating your skin with oils and creams for weeks, many people get into this third phase. What happens here is since you constantly apply some sort of fat onto your skin, it blocks the pores. Your skin reacts to that and self-regulates a bit: it lowers it’s own, natural sebum production. Normally (if you don’t have some disorder), your skin self-lubricates by producing sebum. This is the stuff that will make you feel “greasy” if you don’t shower for days. By treating your skin several weeks, your production might be inhibited a bit, causing painfully dry skin and scabbing. You can use any sort of “girly” body moisture lotion to counter that. Apply when necessary. I usually need it for a week or so.

What else can i put on a new tattoo to help it heal?

I was trying to think of them name Bacitracin, is what I have had the best luck with. After that Neosporin. Don't EVER use tattoo goo, the color is faded EVEN BEFORE the tat heals

Would putting Olive Oil on a fresh new tattoo be something smart to do?

No, you need an antibiotic ointment. Use the one the artist recommended. And fast; letting a tattoo scab dry up is very bad.
