You want to consider how the names fit together, first of all. Do they trip off the tongue? Do they sound clumsy? Anne is a fairly normal name and so is Margaret, but ‘Anne and Margaret’ is very difficult to say, and so is ‘Margaret and Anne’.Individually are the names good? Do you like them? Why do you think Aphex Twin names his tracks the way he does, especially recently?
Because I think there's a lot of effort, perhaps even unnecessary effort that goes into naming your songs. And it changes the whole flavor of the thing. For Richard, he already has his own tracknames that have evolved and taken on a life of their own, and they fit the song perfectly to him probably. So why bother? Just release it as-is. Kinda like releasing all the gear used on the latest album right there on the back. It's a kind of 'in-your-face', 'not afraid to show behind the scenes' thing I think. And I think he's kinda saying, "the song is already done, the image, the vibe, the whole shebang, it's all right here, it doesn't need anything else" Kinda explains the whole blank white CD packaging minimalist thing in SYRO IMO.
What Do You Think Of The Name Adelaide?
Evangeline is pretty. Liam is AWESOME lol. Don't like Siobhan....mainly because no one will EVER pronounce it right. Francesca is too spanish sounding....unless that's what you're going for, and then it's nice. Cecilia is nice, a little old sounding, but nice. Luca is very nice! Like the show ER. I love it! Madeleine is my daughter's name, so of course I like it. Only we spell it Madeline. And I like Adelaide......but I think Adeline or Adelynn is prettier:) I'm not too fond of Rafael, reminds me of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Patrick is nice. Jeremiah is too religious for me, but still nice sounding. Sebastian is cool. And I LOVE Gabriel. You could call him Gabe for short. Very cute!

For girls: Alice! That is a beautiful name and by far my favorite of your choices. Alice Scotlyn would be cute. For boys: This was tougher but I have a top three! 1. Kenneth- I have always liked the name Kenny! Kenneth Oliver perhaps? 2. Duncan- Cute! Like that My Date With The Presidents Daughter character! Duncan Kane! 3. Oliver Jude! I just think that's cute... I also like Kane but prefer it spelt Cain or Cane, so it didn't make my top three first names. Still slipped it in as a middle name though!
