Marilyn Monroe quote...HELP!!?

I'm trying to find a quote from Marilyn Monroe that said pretty much if you can't/don't help/deal with me in my worse times you have no right being there when its the best of times.

I had it saved on my other computer and now can't find it any where! HELP!

What does this Marilyn Monroe quote mean?

Marilyn Monroe was being true to herself. It was the people around her who credited her with their suppositions, i.e., they fooled themselves, didn't bother to fnd out who she truly was.

She apparently saw no point in trying to convince them otherwise and simply let people think whatever they wanted to about her.

When people eventually realized she was other than what they imagined, they blamed her for it, said she disillusioned and fooled them.

What does Marilyn Monroe mean in this quote?

Notice she says "the" woman, not "a" woman, which is saying that she craves attention and love.

What Marilyn Monroe quote goes somethin like "I'm no angel, but I'm not a devil...''?

If you know the answer, why do you ask?

"I'm pretty, but I'm not beautiful. I sin, but I'm not the devil. I'm good, but I'm not an angel"

What is your favorite Marilyn Monroe quote?

This isn’ t exactly a quote, and it probably won’t appeal to anyone else, but it appeals to me.First, two pieces of trivia:Lucky Strike cigarettes used to use “L.S.M.F.T.” as an advertising slogan. Those initials stood for “Lucky Strike Means Fine Tobacco.”For many years, it was customary for attorneys to have their initials typed at the end of the contacts they drafted.I once saw a contact that Marilyn Monroe had signed. At the end of the contact, the attorney had typed in his initials: LS. Right after those initials, with the same ink she’d ised to sign her name, Marilyn wrote MFT.

Is marilyn monroe overrated?

Yes, I definitely think she is highly overrated. First of all, she was a terrible actress. In my opinion, “The Misfits” is the only movie where she portrayed anything other than herself. Think about it-she was always a naive, somewhat dumb blonde in all her roles. I am not saying that she was stupid. I just don’t think she was very good or very smart. The people who acted with her couldn’t stand her. Some of them, like Clark Gable in “The Misfits” and Lawrence Olivier in “The Prince and the Showgirl,” felt sorry for her. So they made allowances for “poor Marilyn.” But at the same time, she kept fellow actors and crew members waiting forever for her to show up. And she was never prepared. Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon dressed uncomfortably in “drag” on the set of “Some Like It Hot” had to wait for her for hours and then reshoot scene after scene because Monroe couldn’t remember simple lines. Curtis said that filming love scenes with her was like “kissing Hitler.” Billy Wilder, the director on that same movie, started writing her lines down on props, like inside a dresser drawer. She still couldn’t get it right. I have read many, many biographies of Hollywood movie stars and there were none who had any respect for her. She was a messed up person who had no regard for the feelings of anyone else. She wasn’t mean. She wasn’t rude. She was just totally unprofessional.Secondly, regarding her affair with Jack Kennedy, what did she think he was doing with her? He was the President of the United States. She actually went so far as to call Jacqueline Kennedy. Did she think he was going to divorce a class act like Jackie to marry a woman (a very nice way of putting it) like her. The way she sang Happy Birthday to him in front of all the press corps at the White House dinner was embarrassing. Of course, Jack Kennedy was inexcusable in his actions. That whole scenario was disgraceful. And my third reason is that while Marilyn was pretty and I guess sexy, that didn’t make her beautiful. Beauty comes from within. Elegance and spirit make women like Rita Hayworth, Ann Sheridan, Grace Kelly, and Audrey Hepburn beautiful and desirable. They were actresses who demanded respect. Marilyn Monroe did not.
