What do you think of this werewolf-story plot?
Were you the one who asked the other question about being worried about the story being to twilight-ish? If so I believe you don't have to worry, The plot is definitely interesting, it could turn out to be a great novel, if it's well written! Even the most fantastic plot could turn into a bland book if it's not well written, the author can make or break a story. One dangerous trap is making the story too shallow, this is especially important because this is a supernatural book, the story should be as "believable" and Realistic as possible, create 3D, dynamic characters (remember people aren't black and white), show flaws, love, insecurities and feelings, in other words write them with warts and all! ;) Also you should focus on creating a background story of the wolves, perhaps read a few books about werewolves, legends from around the world etc. so that you can "create" your own version of the werewolves physiology, mind, thoughts, traditions and pack. What should happen next? Hmm, well there are some possible ways of continuing, it depends on her reaction I guess, does she accept it or is she afraid of it? Does he bite her? : ¤ The wolf attacks her (scratches her? No bite?) she is able to flee. She could be scared of him, wanting nothing to do with him (he's a freak), she force him to leave, perhaps the inhabitants realize what he is. Finds the pack? Burns down the house? The pack is mad at him? They leave? Perhaps they (or Henry alone) do something "heroic" saves the town or some people (Basically werewolves are misunderstood, outcaststs?) Proves himelf to her? ¤ Alternatively she can accept it "straight away", perhaps he runs away because he's afraid of hurting her, she seeks him out? Goes into the forest meets the others in the pack? (Dangerous or explaining?) ¤ She is bitten? He has to help her through it, guilt ridden and ashamed? Focus more on the werewolves, thoughts, perceptions instincts, how do they view the world, differences from human nature? Does she blame him or accept it? Sorry my "ideas" here are written very unordered, just thought I should put some thoughts out there I wish you all the best, good luck with your story:)
What did you think of the plot twist in Coco (2017 movie)?
I Feel Disney is trying really hard to mix up their standard routines in their movies. Look at Frozens "True Love" ending or Moana's ending with Tefiti being the Goddess. I like that they are doing it but I hope they don't force it in future movies. Keep the flow natural per se.Overall it was a good twist that fit and didn't feel hard to believe.
What do you think will be the greatest plot of GOT S7?
Arya’s story is just so compelling. There is so much drama, battles and mysticism on Game of Thrones. Even with all that, I find myself very interested in one of the youngest characters.Arya’s plan to kill a room full of Freys make her impossible to discount as a power player. She is fearless.I am so excited to see her find her dire wolf. Arya’s strength and perseverance is reflected in her dire wolf’s wild spirit.
As a writer, would you pay someone to think of a plot for you?
It’s always a good idea to seek outside guidance, and if the plot becomes even better by getting a second opinion, I would definitely do that. On the other hand, you can also adapt inspiration so that person doesn’t feel tricked afterwards. In all cases of outside inspiration, make sure you have a written agreement, so you don’t end up in a court of law if you are the next JK Rowling or Dan Brown. Sometimes, money and success can be the worst elements in people’s greed - and it’s better to be safe than sorry. But let inspiration flow, and if you have the money for it, go for outside inspiration. :-)
What do you think of the plot by Lady Gaga fans to take down Venom’s box office results?
It’s pretty hilarious, honestly. I seriously doubt they’ll have the ability to impact anything. First for reasons of numbers- the subsection of Lady Gaga’s fandom that’s trying to pull this off probably has a very negligible impact on the rest of the nation’s viewing habits. Second because I can’t see the two fandoms having much of a cross-section. Venom is aimed at Venom fans and comicbook lovers, and if you’re in either of those groups you’ve probably already decided to watch this movie or ignore it. The internet howlings of a bunch of people from a completely separate fanbase won’t enter your calculations for a second. (This also means they probably have nothing to worry about to begin with; I doubt most of the people looking to see Venom were too excited for a Lady Gaga movie anyhow.)On a lesser level, it’s somewhere between disturbing and pitiable. What does it say about you if you’re trying to stop someone else from enjoying something they enjoy, not because it will stop you from enjoying what you enjoy, but because you’re afraid your thing might have smaller numbers in the newspaper?
