What Do You Think Of When You Hear The Word Internet Example Cat Videos Fails Etc

How do i describe rain falling? Help please!?

You may not like to hear this but as a writer its your job to come up with the writing - ideas, characters, plot, etc.

I don't want to write your book for you so the most i can do is give a similar example;

describing a forest in the morning;

The dampened ground sucked at my bare feet as I walked through the undergrowth. Trees loomed over head, only allowing a slight sliver of the sunrise in to light my path. I was on my way...

and some advice on describing rain;

try sitting outside during the next few storms. listen to the sounds it makes as it hits different surfaces (pavement, roofs, cars, trees). take in the smell and taste. feel the air. pick the storm you feel is suited for your story - spring shower, thunderstorm, severe thunderstorm, drizzle, etc and then get to writing :) also try to compare the different sounds and smells to other things to create a poetic flow

What are fallacies or examples of fallacies?

a deceptive, misleading, or false notion, belief, etc.

EX: That the world is flat was at one time a popular fallacy.

What things bother you about anime/anime fans?

I love anime, but just wondering what things anime fans might not like about anime its self or the fans?

For example..

- Narutards - People who believe its the greatest anime ever made and will not hear otherwise. If you try to have a different opinion about it or say something bad about it your flamed to death. Alot of fans are like this be it Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, Vampire Knight..

- People who go around calling themselves Otaku's like its the greatest life time achievement ever. Most of these people have seen like 10 animes and heard it on there so branded themselves Otaku.... Am I the only one who see's this? I don't think they realise it means someone who is really obsessed.

- Animes that are good with humour from the start but around 12 episodes in change the animation style and go slapstick comedy.

- Fillers.. Id prefer the anime to just take a break for 2 - 3 months then come back with original story rather than fillers.

I could rant all day.. Just wondering if anyone else agree's with some of these or has any of there own?

Thanks for any answers.

I am preparing for competitive exams, but for the past few days I have not been able to concentrate on studying and when I force myself I feel exhausted. When I start studying my mind wanders a lot. I'm in a 'do or die' situation as I have to clear those exams, but I am wasting my precious time. What should I do?

Thank you for this detail question description.The same things occur with every aspirants.They all do the same for fighting it off.But, what actually makes a difference is their unstoppable efforts to work onto the same.Fear, anxiety and pressure like things are very common in the struggle of clearing any competitive examination. Around millions are giving and thousands will be selected. Tough.Nothing except for going along and studying is the way to fight this.If you ask Google it has techniques like meditation and etc. If you start meditating with such kind of chaos in your mind then, you'll feel more low as you will depend upon meditation. Proper mediation gives result in and after 3–4 months of practice and till that time you don't have so much patience. Accept it. So it cannot help.As I said earlier, walking through the same. Studying is the way only.Hormones may play with you sometimes. Let it. But do remember when the game ends, you should be the winner.Don't feel low and stressful.Believe in your efforts, the results will walk to you as it is meant to be.Few things I personally practice to get rid of such things is:Yoga. Preferably, kapalbhati pranayama for 10 minutes daily. You can see the effects of the same on the internet.Weekly dopamine, serotonin and endomorphin doses. In my case I like to eat, so I prefer eating tasty and healthy food every week to keep myself happy.Build up the habit of patience. Slowly everything fades off and I'm again back on track.Discuss the issues with one close friend and with family. I said discuss, don't expect solutions. It will help.Finally, be passionate and keep reminding yourself, your 'why' for this journey.All the best!Thank you!Binoy Roy
