What Do You Think The Best Animal Crossing Series Is And Why

Has there ever been an ending to games like Animal Crossing?

I’ve played ~1000 hours on ACNL and still enjoy playing the game everyday. The game’s “end” is completely up to you to dictate after a certain point in the game. Personally, I’d say that the “must-do’s” in the ACNL would be completely paying off your house payments, completing your main street and completing your museum collection. I don’t even really consider getting all the golden tools as one of the main achievements, but that could potentially be the final “must-do” in terms of achievements. After those have been completed, the “end” of the game is completely dependent on whether you want to set more goals for yourself. If your sole purpose of playing ACNL was to complete those “must-do” achievements, then technically I’d say you’d be “done” playing the game. For example, some other achievements could be getting all gold badges from Phineas, maxing out the town tree size, completing your catalogue, etc. I’d say that these “secondary” achievements would take a long time to complete, but that’s the nature of games like ACNL - stuff usually just takes a long time to complete. In short, do I believe that there is a true “ending” to ACNL? From my personal experience, no I don’t believe so. I definitely think there are milestones in the game, but at the end of the day, the beauty of games like ACNL are that there really aren’t any concrete, set-in-stone endings.

What is the best Animal Crossing game?

Lately I've been very interested in trying an Animal Crossing game for the first time, but the games all look the same. For those of you with experience with the franchise, which game in the series has the most/best features, the best graphics and the best characters? Also, are the games similar to the Sims in terms of character development (can you build your own house, raise a family, get job promotions, etc.)?

Why do I feel that in Roblox and Animal Crossing, you wander around aimlessly in subpar graphics?

I have never played Animal Crossing, however I have played Roblox.Roblox is a website that provides a child freindly game development engine that allows them to create games. They are sort of related to legos, and everyone loves those. ROblox does not generally limit game content and aims to keep the blockiness of things. The reason for “subpar graphics” is due to the fact that it isn’t based off graphics. Content is the most important thing, and often games on Roblox are meant for a repetitive action that some people find fun.Take for example Minigames, The mad Murderer, Phantom Forces, and other games in that genre. The point is to give players something they enjoy without huge amounts of graphics to compensate for content. The games you are most likely playing that you “Wonder around aimlessly” can be either tycoons (which still have a goal) or roleplaying games. This can include Ultimate Driving, City of Robloxia, and other similar games. These are not meant for action or plot. The point of this is to allow people to create their own “perfect utopia” in a city, or even go wild with their imagination. Roblox is not simply a game that focuses on graphics. However, I have a solution to your boredom on Roblox. Finding a game you enjoy can be very hard. Trust me, I have found myself many time over very bored. No new games, no good games. If you want a new experience I would either leave Roblox for a couple of months until new games are out, or you can try out game development on your own!“Hold on there! Game Development?! That’s super hard and boring! What am I supposed to do?!”Well, game development may seem hard and pointless at first, but it truly provides an educational experience. You can see the behind the scenes for some games, and even create your own.You won’t master it in a day, but you can definently continue learning for the better! If you do consider taking the game development path, here are a few Youtubers I recommend:AlvinBLOXPeasFactoryAlvinBLOX is best for it’s building tutorials and quick creation of items, but I wouldn’t recommend relying on it too much. If you want to learn full on scripting, then I would recommend PeasFactory. I’m a youtuber as well, although i don’t post on game development.Hope this post helps motivate you!Cheers,rsh2's Profile

When is the best time to find wisp on animal crossing city folk?

Wisp appears on a random day after 8pm, staying until after midnight .He is located at a random part of town and cannot be seen; if the player approaches Wisp's location he will greet them and ask them to come closer. As they approach, wisp will appear, asking the player to find an item called "empty lamp" somewhere in their town.

The empty lamp itself appears in a town at the start of any day in which Wisp is visiting. Its appearance is extremely similar to Genie's lamp from Aladdin, pictured here. Since it appears before the evening, if the lamp is seen in a town (and the player can be sure it appeared that day), it means Wisp will be in the town somewhere that evening. (Other sites have claimed that Wisp will appear only on the beach acres of your town, this is not true. Wisp can appear in any acre of your town.) The lamp primarily appears next to a house or other building. When spoken to a second time (with the lamp in possession), Wisp will instruct the player to go to the attic of their house. He will then disappear into the empty lamp, changing it to a magic lamp. Once the player is in the attic, they can select the magic lamp in their inventory and use the "Rub" option, at which point Wisp reappears. He then gives the player the choice of one wish from the following:
Weed!
Removed all weeds in the player's town.

Smash roaches!
Removes all roaches from player's house.

Give me stuff!
The player is asked to choose between furniture, hats, accessories and clothes (or can cancel). If the player chooses a category, then they are instantly given one of those items not already in their catalog.

Meh. I'm good.
Wisp will go back into his lamp and will come back out
when you are ready to choose a wish. He will not just
"go away".

What is the new Animal Crossing (2019) game going to be like?

In terms of gameplay, I think it’ll be like New Leaf, just with a lot more added. I also think that it’ll be HD.

Do you have high hopes for the Animal Crossing 2019 game?

Yes, yes, yes! Animal Crossing is my favorite nintendo series, so much so that I initially bought a 3ds for the sole purpose of playing New Leaf. I was introduced to the series through City Folk, back for the Wii, and I later purchased Wild World.I say all this to say, it's been a while since Nintendo released an Animal Crossing-esq game. Yes, there was Happy Home Designer, and Amiibo Festival but no Animal Crossing - Animal Crossing. Pocket Camp is nice, but you don't have as many options. Also the Welcome Amiibo update was a little lacking. So maybe it's blind hope, but I really do hope this next Animal Crossing game is actually a town/village where there are animals living and moving out, and stores, and a shopping district, and just daily life activities, you know what I mean? I don't really have many "must haves" list, as long as it's a conventional Animal Crossing game, I'm good.I do however, really hope there can be more interactions with special characters, just not in a casual setting like the campers in Welcome Amiibo. (That just took away from their special-ness.)I also hope KK Slider moves back to The Roost, (but I doubt that'll happen).I also want to see letter sending via online play. Also, I REALLY hope you can change your skin tone. (Can't see why you couldn't… Pocket Camp and Happy Home Designer did it.)I hope it's easier to make public works projects… assuming their are public works projects.I hope each file on the Switch has it's own village. That's likely.I hope there are more part time jobs you can take up for quick cash.I hope Ressetti isn't a public work you can just purchase, and is there from the start. (I know kids were getting scared but really?)I hope Kapp'n still sings.I hope KK has some AMAZING new songs.I hope the animal's could be a little more unique to one another.I also hope they can get sick from time to time.Maybe we'll see Lottie in the game? It's a shame Frillard died, so I guess no hope for him being in this. Also, I hope they bring back the gate or something similar to City Folk. Honestly, when the little train door opens in New Leaf it's a but anticlimactic. Also, I hope you can get both Copper and Booker in your town.(I feel like I'm just describing an Animal Crossing Ultimate…) But anyway, those are most of my hopes… guess I do have a lot.

What is the appeal of Animal Crossing games?

This is always a hard question to answer, as listing the things you can do in Animal Crossing always come across as banal or sound a lot like Farmville--you can plant flowers! Decorate your house! Decorate your town! So, I think it's not just the amount of things you can do, but the personal connection you feel with your villagers and your town. The game has tons of dialogue, so it takes a long time to feel like you've heard everything before, and eight different personality types for villagers (not to mention special characters), so every interaction is different. Since the game evolves as you play it, it really feels like your own little world that you've tailored. Not only that, but in New Leaf, the multiplayer options made it easier than ever to visit a friend's town, or someone you met on the Internet's town. Fundamental to the game is also that it is ever-changing in real time, so there is really a whole year's worth of new experiences as the seasons change and holidays come and go.I've been playing New Leaf almost every day for the year since it came out, and while I do kind of feel like I've done all there is to do, it also feels like home. New Leaf is most definitely the best iteration on the franchise, so if it sounds appealing to you, I would start with the best. The tragedy of Animal Crossing games is that you tend to love them intensely for a while, then let your town go by the wayside as you forget about it. The portability of New Leaf (along with the added benefits of StreetPassing other ACNL players) made it a lot easier to maintain my town on the go, so that in itself gives it some more staying power. Plus, the communities on Tumblr and Reddit are super active, which makes it more fun.

What hopes do you have for Animal Crossing Switch 2019?

I’m working on Animal Crossing adoptables to put on Furry Amino at the moment, so I’m gonna keep my list as sweet as possible. :)•Layered towns (upper layer and lower layer with hills to walk down like in the other console ACs)•HAPPY. HOME. DESIGNER. FEATURES. .5 space placement, hanging light fixtures, ambiance, curtains, custom doors, YARDS, sidling between furniture! It would all be perfect to include! And having an ENTIRE TOWN wit a school and shops and even stationary cars would be AWESOME.•Games within games via video game systems like in New Leaf and Population: GrowingI’m busy and tired and am stopping there. Lol. If I think of anything else, I’ll edit my answer. ;)Hope you’re as excited as I am~! I’d love to play with anyone who sees this. :)Edits:•Comeback of morning aerobics from Population Growing (Copper & other villagers would be stretching outside as a group in the early morning)•Bank cards from City Folk/Let’s Go to the City•THE CITY AND EVERYTHING IN IT (and the Island & Main Street stuff) PLEASE, IT WAS THE BEST lmao•Friendship levels. I know it’s kinda already a thing, but I’d like to be able to see a grand development rather than a few chat boxes changing and being sent letters on occasion.•Individuality. Every character’s personality set has default everything. The characters themselves are in no way individual beyond looks, and it’s kinda saddening. Give each character a bit of backstory, something that each of them says (full dialogue, not just their catchphrase or photo quote) about their life or something that nobody else will say. Perhaps unlocked at max friendship???
