Do you think names ending in LYN are trashy?
I don't think they're trashy I AT ALL. I just think they're amazingly trendy. Nothing about -lyn names sounds "trashy" to me. I can't imagine an Evelyn as a stripper... The thing with -lyn names, in my opinion, is more of the trendy feel thanks to people spontaneously adding it to the end of any name. It's like they pick a name from a had and add "lyn" to somehow "complete" it (which isn't a good idea at all, I think). People are throwing out Avalyn, Gracelyn, Emmalyn, Saralyn, etc... it's just tacky, trendy, and NOT creative at all. To me, "trashy" is more like that classic big-headed teenage girl that thinks she's everything and likes to show her body off to the guys... Trashy, to me, are Destiny and Nevaeh... they SCREAM "I'm into prostitution" to me. Unpleasant, but definitely trashy. -- Amy

Are second ear piercings trashy or trendy?
omg i have the same situation as you! i work totally hard in school and everything, but my parents dont want me to get second piercing cuz it is trashy looking. i say, DONT JUDGE PPL BY THEIR PIERCINGS! haha but i guess when u first see someone wit lots of pierces, u think they look sort of..."bad" or "rebellious" im holding off on the piercings for now...but watever u do, be urself and let ur personality show first,!

What do you think of the name "Mikaela"?
What do you think of the name Mikaela? People are so generous about the variations of Catherine, such as Katherine Katharine, Kaitlyn, Kathleen etc, but they're so cruel to Michaela. I had searched the Yahoo answers first about the variations of Mikaela -Mikayla, Makaela, Makayla, and jI saw that everyone's saying all those variations are too trendy, trashy, tacky, and lower-class name. I think all of Michaela names are SO pretty and beautiful, but I'm little worried about prejudice of people. I don't want my baby to get such a discrimination by naming her as variations.. like "Hi, I'm Mikaela!" "Oh! My sweetie!(omg her parents are probably none-educated teenager from lower class)"
