What were some of your favorite E3 2018 announcements?
My favorite announcement, as a major Nintendo fanboy, was obviously the character roster announcement for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, all of the characters that I played in Melee as a kid, in Brawl as a tween and now in Smash 4 as a teenager are all gonna be in the same game, and I can still use my GameCube Controller! I’m extremely hyped for this!
What do the announcements from E3 2018 mean for the future of gaming?
They broke history:The Elder Scrolls VICyberpunk 2077Saints Row VDevil May Cry 5Dying Light 2Assassin's Creed Odyssey with same sex romance for male AND female protagonist (ubi broke the fucking history).Naughty Dog saying fuck you to homophobes with Ellie having a girlfriend. I mean look at the reactions when Neil Druckmann announced his support for Pride Month with the paw of Naughty Dog in LGBTQAI+ colors:While they all said how Naughty Dog hasn't had homosexual relationships in their game. Hahahahahahaha.They announced the most anticipated games in gaming history. If that ain't making history at E3 I don't know what does.
What game changing announcements you expect to see at E3 2019?
(Realistic hopes)New consoles for XboxNew Battlefield games (that are in the developing process, I don’t expect them to come out with a new one right after their release in Nov.)New exciting games(Unrealistic hopes)A TV with a built-in Xbox so you only need 1 cord and a controllerA small Xbox with a battery case and built in screen to play anywhere (kinda like PS mobile but not exactly) also design like the gaming case called Vangard (pull it up and you’ll understand)Thanks for reading
What will be Nintendos's next big announcement at E3 2019?
I’m going to skip over the rumoured stuff because any of that could easily be the big thing.Instead, I’m going to talk about the things we know are coming, the new Pokemon games are sure to cause a stir, Since Metroid Prime 4 got restarted we might not see anything beyond a teaser trailer, but hands down the game that will cause people to freak out will be Animal Crossing.Yeah I know its not exactly a flagship and is unlikely to mean anything in the grand gaming scheme however it is the one game that has been screamed for consistently during every Nintendo Directs for the Switch era.
Would gamers be angry if PS5 was announced at E3 2019 and released in November 2019?
It would go against the statements they've already made about not seeing a new console release in the next year or so. I can see them announcing a new console in 2019 but it wouldn't be on shelves until probably mid-2020 at the absolute earliest. Realistically, Sony doesn't have any real incentive to jump on a new system so soon. The PS4 has vastly outsold the Xbox One and Sony knows they have the bigger player base already. The PS4 Pro may not be as powerful as the One X but it has a much stronger library of exclusive titles, and also being the more popular system it thereby becomes the biggest player base for the gaming phenomenon known as Fortnite.
When will Elder Scrolls VI be released let alone announced?
I honestly hope that Elder Scrolls VI gets announced and released sometime next year. Because it would be a pretty long wait, longer than usual for it to be released in say 2017 or 2018. I hope it gets announced and released in 2016, that would really be great! Hell, even early 2017 as long as it's not late 2017 or 2018, I am fine with it! ESO is great and all, but it's none of the less not the same as the main Installments, especially the greatest ones such as Daggerfall, Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim! Anyone can admit to this! (I didn't include Elder Scrolls Arena because although that was a good game, it wasn't a major groundbreaking game that changed the franchise like Daggerfall which was a 2.5D game, close to being a 3D game and then there was Morrowind that was entirely 3D and then you have the other two of course. Also, Arena was the first Elder Scrolls game on top of that.) So that being said, with big installments such as Wolfenstein, Fallout and Doom already announced with two being released this year and one being released next year, but announced this year, When will Elder Scrolls VI be released let alone announced? Next year? I really hope so!
What do you think was the worst showcased game at E3 2018?
Jedi: Fallen Order.Not that I don’t appreciate a really awkward interview among the audience members….but that was the worse game reveal I had ever seen.Note the difference between Rocksteady Games, that completely removed themselves from E3, and only mentioned (after public outcry) that they knew their game wasn’t ready, and they made the decision to hold their hand a little longer.Whereas the Jedi: Fallen Order reveal, gave us zero information, excitement, or anything else. It was a waste of everyone's time.
What do you think Bethesda will show at E3 2019?
Bethesda has confirmed it will be holding its 2019 E3 Showcase on Sunday, June 9, 2019 in Los Angeles.This is the fifth annual E3 press briefing the company has held, and will include an “in-depth look at ‘Doom Eternal’,” according to an official blog.It’s likely “Rage 2” will be a big part of the E3 2019 showcase as well, as the shooter from id And Avalance Software will be out before the annual convention takes place. In lieu of announcements about the game’s progress, it’s likely Bethesda announcements will erevolve around potential plans for DLC.You might also see Elder Scrolls Blades (the mobile game) in there a bit.I believe they/Todd has already stated somewhere that Fallout and Elder Scrols will NOT be there. He’s already addressed 76 and won’t walk to hash out the issues (and bad press) on such a public stage and Elder Scrolls is years and years away. The only reason they even teased them last year was to soothe fears about Bethesda going multiplayer due to 76. It was there “But we’re still working on single-player too!” moment and they no longer need to do that this year. I wouldn’t hold out much hope of hearing about Starfield either.
