What do you want for Christmas?
I want a PS4 pro to replace my ps4 and I want a Xbox One X to replace my Xbox One. I also want headphones, Ipod 6, 50 dollars apple card. I want 6 months ps4 and xbox one online. I want WW2 plus 100 dollars psn card for when the DLC comes out. I want new controllers for both system. I want a light up keyboard and a light up mouse. Plus I want a touch screen laptop and a camera so I can be a twitch streamer.
What do you want for Christmas this year (2018)?
I just like to have my family together, and happy. That’s a great holiday season. Right here in our house. If I had a material request, I’d really like to have my car taken in to get the dents out. What good is a beautiful blue convertible that has one side all wrecked? Last summer I heard the crash. UPS had backed into my car, that was parked at my house, from the neighbor’s driveway across the street. I ran out, and the driver seemed instantly suicidal. He could barely talk, just hung his head, almost crying. He had me saying, “I’ll never tell. I’ll pay for it myself; it’s not your fault you have to drive a house around…” And my husband came out and said, “No way! They’re billionaires!“ So, the people were out right away, taking pictures, and handing us a check for a thousand dollars. I took it into Maaco, at my appointment time, and two days later they called me and said, “Come and get it-we overbooked, and can’t fix it.” So I went right there, got in it, and it wouldn’t start. They had my fuses all out of where they were supposed to be, all over the front seat. I called my husband to come up; it was the middle of the night. He put them back in, but it still wouldn’t start. We had it towed, and the car repair place said we needed a new battery. A hundred for the tow, two hundred for the battery. Maaco, I think, had left the trunk open with the trunk light on, and ran the battery down for two days. That had been a brand new Sears Die-Hard Gold battery, my favorite kind, that lasts for years. We bought another one, at the same Sears parts place; they couldn’t believe we were already back. Anyway, we no sooner got the car all fixed, than a man spent a week in our parking place in front of our house, like, a homeless guy. I called the cops; no one else was going to. He was in a stolen silver car, (pictured) wouldn’t open up, and before the cops broke out the windows and tasered him four times, he had rammed my convertible four times, in the same place as UPS. Jesse Rudy. No one is responsible for the repairs, but us. That’s what I want for Christmas.

Peace of mind. It's been a very rough holiday season.

You know, at some point, my parents and I are going to have to have “the talk.”No, not that talk. My mom took care of that at the dinner table ten years ago when she announced to the kids: “Look, here’s the deal. You don’t wanna know what we’re doing, and we don’t know what you’re doing. Just be safe, okay?”No, I mean the “Please stop getting me so much stuff for Christmas” talk.Seriously. I have a job now. I make money. I have a nice savings account to soften the blow of life’s little curveballs. I have health insurance. I even have a 401k.And … I have stuff. So much stuff.I have so much stuff that my bedroom walls are lined with boxes of stuff I still haven’t unpacked from when I moved here over a year ago, and there’s at least a dozen more boxes lying around in the basement (thank God there’s a basement). The prospect of moving is officially horrifying.I just don’t need things anymore. I have things under control.If they have to get me something, I’d like tickets to the opera. Or tickets to a basketball game. I would enjoy both equally. I’m at the point now where life isn’t about having stuff anymore. It’s about having experiences. That means so much more to me.I’m so incredibly grateful that my parents did well enough by us kids to spoil the hell out of us well into adulthood. I know how lucky we are.But now? I’m all set. I don’t need anything. I just want to enjoy Christmas with my family.
What do you want for Christmas this year (2019)?
This Christmas, I really want a home projector!!! A few months ago, my friend bought a home projector. She invited me to go to her house to watch a movie. I think it is great! I really like yoga, so I want to have a home projector to play my yoga videos, just like this!!!

Christmas is an occasion of giving and sharing. It is most delightful and my favorite celebration of the year.
